Chapter on all lineages being severed on the Day of Resurrection except his lineage

Ali bin Hussain narrates: When Umar bin Khattab (R.A.) married Umme Kulthum bint Ali (R.A.), he went to the mosque of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and sat in the gathering, in the space between the grave and the pulpit, which was reserved for the Muhajireen (emigrants), and no one else would sit there except them. He prayed for blessings for them. He said: I married her because I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: Every lineage and relation will be cut off on the Day of Judgement except for my lineage and relation.

(١٣٣٩٣) حضرت علی بن حسین فرماتے ہیں : جب عمر بن خطاب (رض) کی شادی ام کلثوم بنت علی (رض) سے ہوئی تو وہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی مسجد میں میں مجلس میں حاضر ہوئے، قبر اور منبر کے درمیانی جگہ جو مہاجرین کے لیے تھی، اس میں ان کے علاوہ کوئی نہ بیٹھتا تھا۔ وہ ان کے لیے برکت کی دعا کرتے۔ آپ نے فرمایا : میں نے ان سے شادی اس لیے کی ہے کہ میں نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا : تمام سبب اور نسب قیامت والے دن ختم کردیے جائیں گے میرے سبب اور نسب کے علاوہ۔
Hazrat Ali bin Hussain farmate hain : Jab Umar bin Khattab (RaziAllahu Anhu) ki shadi Umme Kulsoom bint Ali (RaziAllahu Anha) se hui to woh Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki masjid mein majlis mein hazir hue, qabar aur mimbar ke darmiyani jagah jo muhajireen ke liye thi, us mein un ke ilawa koi na baithta tha. Woh un ke liye barkat ki dua karte. Aap ne farmaya : Maine un se shadi is liye ki hai ki maine Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko farmate huye suna : Tamam sabab aur nasab qayamat wale din khatam kar diye jayenge mere sabab aur nasab ke ilawa.
Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: "Every lineage and relation will be cut off on the Day of Resurrection except for my lineage and relation." So I wished to have the lineage and relation of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Therefore, Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said to Hasan and Husayn (may Allah be pleased with them): "Marry your paternal aunt." They replied: "She is a free woman." Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) stood up in anger, then Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) grabbed his clothes and said: "O father, we cannot bear your separation." Then they arranged his marriage.

(١٣٣٩٤) حضرت عمر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے فرماتے ہوئے سنا کہ ہر سبب اور نسب قیامت والے دن ختم کردیا جائے گا علاوہ میرے سبب اور نسب کے تو میں نے پسند کیا کہ میرے لیے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کا نسب بھی ہو اور سبب بھی ہو تو علی (رض) نے حضرت حسن اور حسین (رض) سے فرمایا : اپنے چچا کی شادی کر دو ۔ وہ کہنے لگے : وہ ایک خود مختار عورت ہے حضرت علی (رض) غصے میں کھڑے ہوئے تو حضرت حسن (رض) نے آپ کا کپڑا پکڑ لیا “ اور عرض کیا : اے ابا جان آپ کی جدائیگی پر صبر و تحمل نہیں ہے۔ پھر انھوں نے آپ (رض) کا نکاح کردیا۔
13394 Hazrat Umar (RA) farmate hain keh maine Nabi (SAW) se farmate hue suna keh har sabab aur nasab qayamat wale din khatam kar diya jaye ga alawah mere sabab aur nasab ke to maine pasand kya keh mere liye aap (SAW) ka nasab bhi ho aur sabab bhi ho to Ali (RA) ne Hazrat Hassan aur Hussain (RA) se farmaya : apne chacha ki shadi kar do . Woh kehne lage : woh ek khud mukhtar aurat hai Hazrat Ali (RA) ghusse mein khade hue to Hazrat Hassan (RA) ne aap ka kapda pakad liya “ aur arz kya : aye aba jaan aap ki judai gi per sabar o tahammul nahi hai. Phir unhon ne aap (RA) ka nikah kar diya.
Narrated by Masoor: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Fatima is a piece of my heart, whoever troubles her, troubles me, and whoever pleases her, pleases me, and all the ties of kinship will be cut off on the Day of Resurrection except for my lineage, my descendants, and my in-laws.

(١٣٣٩٥) حضرت مسور سے روایت ہے کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : فاطمہ میرے دل کا ٹکڑا ہے، جو اس کو تکلیف پہنچائے گا، وہ مجھے تکلف پہنچائے گا اور جو انھیں خوشی دے گا وہ مجھے خوشی دے گا، اور تمام نسب قیامت والے دن ختم کردیے جائیں گے میرے نسب اور سبب اور سسرال کے علاوہ۔
(13395) Hazrat Masoor se riwayat hai keh Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Fatima mere dil ka tukda hai, jo is ko takleef pahuchaega, woh mujhe takleef pahuchaega aur jo inhen khushi dega woh mujhe khushi dega, aur tamam nasab qayamat wale din khatam kar diye jayenge mere nasab aur sabab aur susral ke ilawa.
Narrated Masur bin Makhrama: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: All relations will be severed on the Day of Resurrection except for my relations through faith, through blood, and through marriage.

(١٣٣٩٦) حضرت مسور بن مخرمہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : میرے سببی، نسبی اور سسرالی رشتوں کے علاوہ تمام رشتے منقطع ہوجائیں گے۔
