Chapter: The Imam Speaks After Descending from the Minbar
باب الإمام يتكلم بعدما ينزل من المنبر
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 5851
Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that when a man would present his need to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and the prayer had already been called for, or he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was descending from the pulpit, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would fulfill his need, then he would lead the prayer.

(٥٨٥١) انس بن مالک (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو جب کوئی آدمی اپنی ضرورت پیش کرتا اور نماز کی اقامت ہوچکی ہوتی یا آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) منبر سے نیچے اترتے تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اس کی ضرورت کو پورا کردیتے ، پھر نماز پڑھاتے۔
(5851) Anas bin Malik (RA) farmate hain ki Rasulullah (SAW) ko jab koi aadmi apni zaroorat pesh karta aur namaz ki aqamat ho chuki hoti ya aap (SAW) mimbar se neeche utarte to aap (SAW) uski zarurat ko pura karte, phir namaz parhate.
(5852) (a) Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that after the Isha prayer had been announced, a man said: "I have some work," or he said: "I have a need." So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) continued talking to him until the people fell asleep, or some of them fell asleep. Then he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led them in prayer.
(b) In the narration of Mujahid, it is said that when the prayer was announced, a man said: "O Messenger of Allah! I have something to do." So he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) continued talking to him, and some of the people fell asleep. Then he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led them in prayer, and they did not mention that they had performed ablution.

(٥٨٥٢) (الف) انس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ عشا کی نماز کی اقامت ہوجانے کے بعد ایک آدمی نے کہا : مجھے کام ہے یا کہا : ضرورت ہے تو نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اس سے بات چیت کرتے رہے یہاں تک کہ قوم سو گئی یا بعض افراد سوگئے۔ پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ان کو نماز پڑھائی۔
(ب) مجاہد کی روایت میں ہے کہ نماز کی اقامت ہوچکی تو ایک آدمی نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! مجھے کوئی کام ہے تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اس سے بات چیت کرتے رہے اور بعض افراد سو گئے ، پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے نماز پڑھائی اور انھوں نے ذکر نہیں کیا کہ انھوں نے وضو کیا۔
(5852) (alif) Anas (RA) farmate hain ke isha ki namaz ki iqamat hojane ke bad ek aadmi ne kaha: mujhe kaam hai ya kaha: zaroorat hai to Nabi (SAW) us se baat chit karte rahe yahan tak ke qaum so gai ya baz afrad so gaye. Phir aap (SAW) ne unko namaz parhai.
(be) Mujahid ki riwayat mein hai ke namaz ki iqamat ho chuki to ek aadmi ne kaha: aye Allah ke Rasool! mujhe koi kaam hai to aap (SAW) us se baat chit karte rahe aur baz afrad so gaye, phir aap (SAW) ne namaz parhai aur unhon ne zikar nahin kiya ke unhon ne wuzu kiya.
Hamid says that I asked Thabit al-Bunani about the person who talks after the Iqamah. He narrated a tradition from Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that after the Iqamah was pronounced, a man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and stopped him after the Iqamah.

(٥٨٥٣) حمید فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے ثابت بنانی سے اس شخص کے متعلق سوال کیا جو اقامت کے بعد باتیں کرتا ہے، انھوں نے انس بن مالک (رض) سے روایت نقل کی کہ اقامت ہوچکی تو ایک شخص نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے سامنے آیا اور آپ کو اقامت کے بعد روک لیا۔
(5853) Hameed farmate hain keh maine Sabit bin Ani se iss shakhs ke mutaliq sawal kiya jo iqamat ke baad baaten karta hai, unhon ne Anas bin Malik (RA) se riwayat naqal ki keh iqamat ho chuki to ek shakhs Nabi (SAWW) ke samne aaya aur aap ko iqamat ke baad rok liya.
