(5624) Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was standing delivering the Khutbah (sermon) on Friday. A caravan came from the direction of Sham, so the people left [the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)] and went towards it, and only twelve men remained with him (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Then this verse of Surah Al-Jumu'ah was revealed: { وَإِذَا رَأَوْا تِجَارَۃً أَوْ لَہْوًا انْفَضُّوا إِلَیْہَا وَتَرَکُوکَ قَائِمًا } [Al-Jumu'ah : 11]
Translation: “And when they see some merchandise or some amusement, they break away to it, and leave you standing.”

(٥٦٢٤) جابر بن عبداللہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) جمعہ کے دن کھڑے خطبہ دے رہے تھے۔ شام کی جانب سے ایک قافلہ آیا تو لوگ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو چھوڑ کر اس کی طرف چلے گئے اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ صرف بارہ آدمی باقی رہ گئے۔ پھر سورة جمعہ کی یہ آیت نازل ہوئی : { وَإِذَا رَأَوْا تِجَارَۃً أَوْ لَہْوًا انْفَضُّوا إِلَیْہَا وَتَرَکُوکَ قَائِمًا } [الجمعۃ : ١١]
ترجمہ ” اور وہ جب کوئی تجارتی قافلہ یا کھیل دیکھتے ہیں تو تجھے کھڑا ہوا چھوڑ کر اس کی طرف چلے جاتے ہیں۔ “

Sham ki janib se ek qafila aaya to log ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko chorkar uski taraf chale gaye aur aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke sath sirf bara admi baqi reh gaye. Phir Surah Juma ki yeh ayat nazil hui : { Waiza raaw tijaratan aw lahwan infazzu ilayha wa tarakuka qaiman } [Al-Jumu'ah : 11]
Tarjuma ” Aur wo jab koi tijarti qafila ya khel dekhte hain to tujhe khara huwa chorkar uski taraf chale jate hain “.
Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that we were praying Jumu'ah with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) when a caravan carrying food grains arrived. People went towards the caravan and only twelve men remained with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). So, this verse was revealed: {And when they see some merchandise or entertainment [arriving], they break away to it and leave you standing.} [Al-Jumu'ah : 11]

(٥٦٢٥) جابر بن عبداللہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ ہم نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ جمعہ پڑھ رہے تھے کہ غلے کا کھانے قافلہ آیا۔ لوگ اس قافلہ کی طرف چلے گئے اور نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ صرف بارہ آدمی بچے تو یہ آیت نازل ہوئی : { وَإِذَا رَأَوْا تِجَارَۃً أَوْ لَہْوًا انْفَضُّوا إِلَیْہَا وَتَرَکُوکَ قَائِمًا } [الجمعۃ : ١١] ترجمہ : اور وہ جب کوئی تجارتی قافلہ یا کھیل دیکھتے ہیں تو آپ کو کھڑا ہوا چھوڑ کر اس کی طرف چلے جاتے ہیں۔

Log us qafila ki taraf chale gaye aur Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke sath sirf barah aadmi bache to yeh ayat nazil hui : { Waiza raaw tijaratan aw lahwan infazzu ilaiha wa tarakooka qaiman } [Al-Jumu'ah : 11] Tarjuma : Aur woh jab koi tijarti qafila ya khel dekhte hain to aap ko khara hua chhor kar us ki taraf chale jate hain.

Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was delivering the Friday sermon to us when a caravan loaded with grain arrived and stopped at the place of Baqi'. The people went towards the caravan, leaving the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and there remained with him (peace and blessings be upon him) only forty men, and I was one of them. Then Allah, the Exalted, revealed this verse to His Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "And when they see some merchandise or some amusement, they break away to it, and leave you standing." [Al-Jumu'ah : 11]
Note: Ali bin Ashim narrated on the authority of Husain (in one chain of narration) the mention of forty men. The rest of the students of Husain contradict it, and they mention only twelve.
Shaykh (al-Albani) said: In the Sahih (authentic) narrations it is mentioned that he (peace and blessings be upon him) was (at that time) in the state of delivering the sermon (Khutbah). And those who have mentioned the prayer (instead), they also mean by it the Khutbah (sermon).

(٥٦٢٧) جابر بن عبداللہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ہمیں جمعہ کا خطبہ ارشاد فرما رہے تھے کہ غلے کا بھرا ہواقافلے آگیا اور بقیع مقام پر پڑاؤ کیا۔ لوگ اس قافلہ کی طرف چلے گئے اور انھوں نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو چھوڑ دیا اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ صرف چالیس آدمی تھے ۔ میں بھی ان میں تھا۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے اپنے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) پر یہ آیت نازل کردی : { وَإِذَا رَأَوْا تِجَارَۃً أَوْ لَہْوًا انْفَضُّوا إِلَیْہَا وَتَرَکُوکَ قَائِمًا } [الجمعۃ : ١١] اور جب وہ کسی تجارتی قافلہ یا کھیل کو دیکھتے ہیں تو تجھے کھڑا ہوا چھوڑ کر اس کی طرف چلے جاتے ہیں۔
نوٹ : علی بن عاصم عن حصین اس سند سے چالیس آدمیوں کا تذکرہ ہے، باقی حصین کے شاگرد اس کی مخالفت کرتے ہیں ، وہ صرف بارہ کی تعداد کا ذکر کرتے ہیں۔
شیخ فرماتے ہیں : صحیح روایات میں ہے کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) خطبہ کی حالت میں تھے اور جس نے نماز کا تذکرہ کیا ہے وہ بھی اس سے مراد خطبہ ہی لیتے ہیں۔
(5627) Jabir bin Abdullah (RA) farmate hain ki Rasul Allah (SAW) humain Jumma ka khutba irshad farma rahe the ki ghale ka bhara huwa qafla agaya aur Baqee makam par padav kiya. Log is qafle ki taraf chale gaye aur unhon ne Nabi (SAW) ko chhor diya aur aap (SAW) ke sath sirf chalis aadmi the. Main bhi un mein tha. Allah Ta'ala ne apne Nabi (SAW) par ye ayat nazil kardi: {Wa iza ra'au tijaratan aw lahwan infazoo ilaiha wa tarakuka qaiman} [Al-Jumu'ah: 11] Aur jab woh kisi tijarati qafle ya khel ko dekhte hain to tujhe khara huwa chhor kar us ki taraf chale jate hain.
Note: Ali bin Asim an Husein is sanad se chalis aadmiyon ka tazkira hai, baqi Husein ke shagird is ki mukhalfat karte hain, woh sirf barah ki tadad ka zikr karte hain.
Sheikh farmate hain: Sahih riwayat mein hai ki aap (SAW) khutba ki halat mein the aur jis ne namaz ka tazkira kiya hai woh bhi is se murad khutba hi lete hain.
