Chapter: Takbeer on the Night and Day of Eid al-Fitr and When Going to the Eid Prayer
باب التكبير ليلة الفطر ويوم الفطر وإذا غدا إلى صلاة العيدين
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 6127
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said regarding the verse, "{And he remembers the Name of his Lord [in prayer] and prays.}" [Al-A'la: 15], "He remembers Allah when he goes out for Eid."

(٦١٢٧) ابن عباس (رض) { وَذَکَرَ اسْمَ رَبِّہِ فَصَلَّی } [الأعلی : ١٥] کے بارے میں فرماتے ہیں کہ وہ اللہ کا ذکر کرتا ہے جب عید کی جانب جاتا ہے۔
Ibn Abbas (RA) { wa zakara asma rabbihi fa salla } [al Aa'la : 15] ke bare mein farmate hain ke woh Allah ka zikr karta hai jab eid ki janib jata hai.
Nafi' reported from Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that he used to recite Takbir on the night of Eid-ul-Fitr and while going (for Eid prayer). The mention of night here is unusual.

(٦١٢٨) نافع ابن عمر (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ وہ عید الفطر کی رات اور جاتے وقت تکبیریں کہتے تھے۔ رات کا ذکر اس میں غریب ہے۔
6128 nafi ibn umar (rz) se naql farmate hain ki woh eid ul fitr ki raat aur jate waqt takbiren kehte thay raat ka zikar is mein ghareeb hai
Nafi' narrates from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that when he would go to the mosque on the morning of Eid al-Fitr, he would recite Takbeer (Allahu Akbar) in a loud voice. He would continue reciting it until he reached the Eid prayer ground and would keep reciting it until the Imam arrived.

(٦١٢٩) نافع ابن عمر (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ وہ صبح عید الفطر کے لیے مسجد میں جاتے تو بلند آواز سے تکبیر کہتے ، عید گاہ تک پہنچنے تککہتے رہتے اور امام کے آنے تک بھی تکبیریں کہتے رہتے۔
6129 Nafi ibn Umar (RA) se naql farmate hain ke woh subah Eid-ul-Fitr ke liye masjid mein jate to buland awaz se takbeer kehte, Eidgah tak pahunchne tak kehte rahte aur Imam ke aane tak bhi takbiren kehte rahte.
Nafi' narrated from Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to go out on the days of Eid with Fadl bin Abbas, Abdullah Abbas, Ali, Ja'far, Hasan, Husain, Usamah bin Zaid, Zaid bin Harithah and Ayman bin Umm Ayman (may Allah be pleased with them all), raising their voices in Takbir and Tahlil. They would take a different route on their way back from the mosque and when they finished (the prayer), they would go to the place where dates were sold, then return home.

(٦١٣٠) نافع عبداللہ بن عمر (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) عیدین میں فضل بن عباس، عبداللہ عباس، علی، جعفر، حسن، حسین، اسامۃ بن زید، زید بن حارثہ اور ایمنبن ام ایمن (رض) کے ساتھ نکلتے تھے اور وہ تکبیر و تہلیل سے اپنی آواز کو بلند فرماتے تھے۔ مسجد جاتے آتے نیا راستہ اختیار فرماتے اور جب فارغ ہوتے تو حذائیین پر جاتی پھر اپنے گھر پلٹتے۔
6130 Nafi Abdullah bin Umar (RA) se naqal farmate hain ke Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) Eidain mein Fazal bin Abbas, Abdullah Abbas, Ali, Jaffar, Hasan, Hussain, Usama bin Zaid, Zaid bin Haritha aur Aiman bin Umm Aiman (RA) ke sath nikalte thay aur wo takbeer o tahleel se apni awaz ko buland farmate thay. Masjid jate aate naya rasta ikhtiyar farmate aur jab farigh hote to Huzayin par jati phir apne ghar palatte.
(6131) (a) Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to recite Takbeer (Allahu Akbar) when he came out of his house and until he reached the Eid prayer ground.
(b) Ali bin Abi Talib and a group of Companions narrated like Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that he used to recite Takbeer from the morning until he reached the Eid prayer ground.

(٦١٣١) (الف) عبداللہ بن عمر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) گھر سے نکلتے وقت اور عید گاہ تک جاتے وقت تکبیریں کہتے تھے۔
(ب) علی بن ابی طالب اور صحابہ کی ایک جماعت ابن عمر (رض) کی مثل بیان فرماتے ہیں کہ وہ صبح سے عیدگاہ پہنچنے تک تکبیر کہتے۔
(6131) (alif) Abdullah bin Umar (RA) farmate hain ke Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ghar se nikalte waqt aur Eid gah tak jate waqt takbiren kehte thay. (b) Ali bin Abi Talib aur Sahaba ki aik jamaat Ibn Umar (RA) ki misl bayan farmate hain ke woh subah se Eid gah pahunchne tak takbeer kehte.
(6132) (a) Abu Abdur Rahman Salmi states that he used to recite more Takbeer on Eid al-Fitr than Eid al-Adha.
(b) Imam Shafi, quoting from a group of the Tabeen (successors of the companions of the Prophet), states that they used to recite Takbeer loudly in the mosque on the night of Eid al-Fitr and from morning until they went to the Eid prayer ground, they used to recite Takbeer loudly.

(٦١٣٢) (الف) ابو عبد الرحمن سلمی فرماتے ہیں کہ وہ عید الفطر میں عید الا اضحی کی بہ نسبت زیادہ تکبیریں کہتے ۔
(ب) تابعین کی ایک جماعت سے امام شافعینقل فرماتے ہیں کہ وہ مسجد میں عید الفطر کی رات بلند آواز سے تکبیریں کہتے اور صبح سے عید گاہ جانے تک بلند آواز سے تکبیریں کہتے۔
(6132) (alif) abu abd ur rahman salmi farmate hain ki woh eid ul fitr mein eid ul azha ki ba nisbat ziada takbirein kahte
(be) tabi'een ki ek jamat se imam shafi naql farmate hain ki woh masjid mein eid ul fitr ki raat buland awaz se takbirein kahte aur subah se eid gah jane tak buland awaz se takbirein kahte
Tamim bin Salamah narrated that Ibn Zubair went out on the day of Eid-ul-Adha and saw the people not reciting the takbeer. He said: “What is wrong with them that they are not reciting the takbeer? By Allah! The companions used to recite it. We have seen armies where a man would say the takbeer from one side, then the one next to him (would say it), until the sound of takbeer would echo throughout the army. Surely the difference between you and them is as vast as the distance between the earth below and the sky above."

(٦١٣٣) تمیم بن سلمہ فرماتے ہیں کہ ابن زبیر عید الاضحی کو نکلے تو انھوں نے لوگوں کو دیکھا، وہ تکبیریں نہیں کہہ رہے تھے، فرمانے لگے : ان کو کیا ہے کہ تکبیریں نہیں کہتے۔ اللہ کی قسم ! صحابہ تو کہا کرتے تھے۔ ہم نے تو لشکروں کو دیکھا ہے کہ ایک طرف سے ایک آدمی تکبیر کہتا۔ پھر اس کے ساتھ والا یہاں تک کہ لشکر میں تکبیر کی گونج پیدا ہوجاتی۔ یقیناً تمہارے درمیان اور ان کے درمیان نیچے والی زمین اور اوپر والے آسمان کے فاصلے جتنا فرق ہے۔
Tameem bin Salma farmate hain ki Ibn Zubair Eid-ul-Adha ko nikle to unhon ne logon ko dekha wo takbirein nahin keh rahe the farmane lage in ko kya hai ki takbirein nahin kehte Allah ki qasam Sahaba to kaha karte the hum ne to lashkaron ko dekha hai ki ek taraf se ek aadmi takbeer kehta phir uske sath wala yahan tak ki lashkar mein takbeer ki goonj paida hojati yaqinan tumhare darmiyan aur unke darmiyan neeche wali zameen aur upar wale aasman ke faisle jitna farq hai
