Chapter: It is recommended for a person to slaughter his sacrificial animal himself or witness it
باب ما يستحب للمرء من أن يتولى ذبح نسكه أو يشهده
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 19160
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sacrificed two horned rams with white markings. He (the Prophet) placed his foot on their flanks, recited the takbir (Allahu Akbar), and slaughtered them with his own hand.

(١٩١٦٠) حضرت انس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے دو چتکبرے، سینگوں والے مینڈھے قربان کیے۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اپنا پاؤں ان کے پہلو پر رکھا اور تکبیر پڑھ کر اپنے ہاتھ سے دونوں کو ذبح کیا۔
(19160) Hazrat Anas (RA) farmate hain keh Rasool Allah (SAW) ne do chatkabre, seengon wale mendhe qurban kiye. Aap (SAW) ne apna paon un ke pehlu par rakha aur takbeer parh kar apne hath se donon ko zibah kiya.
Ali ibn Abi Talib (RA) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) told Fatima (RA) to stand near her sacrifice because with the first drop of its blood, all of her sins will be forgiven. On the Day of Judgement, the sacrificed animal will be brought forth with its flesh and blood, increased seventy times, and weighed on the scale of your good deeds. Abu Saeed Khudri says: O Messenger of Allah! Is this specific to the family of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) or for the general public as well? You (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Rather, it is for the family of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and for all people.

(١٩١٦١) حضرت علی بن ابی طالب (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فاطمہ (رض) سے یہ بات کہی کہ اپنی قربانیکے پاس کھڑی ہو جاؤ۔ کیونکہ قربانی کے خون کے پہلے قطرے کے ساتھ ہی تمام گناہ معاف کردیے جاتے ہیں۔ قیامت کے دن قربانی کا جانور اپنے گوشت خون سمیت لایا جائے گا اور اسے ستر گنا بڑھا کر آپ کے نامہ اعمال میں تولا جائے گا۔ ابو سعید خدری کہتے ہیں : اے اللہ کے رسول ! کیا یہ آلِ محمد (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے لیے خاص ہے یا عام لوگوں کے لیے بھی ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : بلکہ یہ آل محمد (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اور تمام لوگوں کے لیے ہے۔
(19161) Hazrat Ali bin Abi Talib (RA) farmate hain keh Rasool Allah (SAW) ne Fatima (RA) se yeh baat kahi keh apni qurbani ke pass khari ho jao. Kyun k qurbani ke khoon ke pehle qatre ke sath hi tamam gunah maaf kar diye jate hain. Qayamat ke din qurbani ka janwar apne gosht khoon samet laya jaye ga aur ise sattar guna bada kar aap ke nama amal mein tola jaye ga. Abu Saeed Khudri kehte hain: Aye Allah ke Rasool! Kya yeh Aal e Muhammad (SAW) ke liye khas hai ya aam logon ke liye bhi? Aap (SAW) ne farmaya: Balkeh yeh Aal e Muhammad (SAW) aur tamam logon ke liye hai.
(19162) Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "O Fatima! Stand near your sacrifice when it is being slaughtered, for with the first drop of its blood, all your previous sins will be forgiven." And say: {إِنَّ صَلَاتِي وَ نُسُكِي وَ مَحْيَايَ وَ مَمَاتِي لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ} [Al-An'am 162-163] "Indeed, my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah, the Lord of the worlds." I asked: "O Messenger of Allah! Is this specific to you and your family or for the general Muslims as well?" He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied: "Rather, it is for the general Muslims as well."
(b) It is narrated from Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that he used to instruct his daughters to slaughter their sacrifices with their own hands.

(١٩١٦٢) حضرت عمران بن حصین (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اے فاطمہ ! اپنی قربانی کے ذبح ہوتے وقت پاس کھڑی ہونا ؛کیونکہ قربانی کے خون کے پہلے قطرے کے ساتھ ہی تیرے کیے ہوئے تمام گناہ معاف کردیے جائیں گے اور یہ کہہ : { اِنَّ صَلَاتِیْ وَ نُسُکِیْ وَ مَحْیَایَ وَ مَمَاتِیْ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَ } [الأنعام ١٦٢-١٦٣] ” بیشک میری نماز، میری قربانی، میری زندگی اور میری موت اللہ رب العالمین کے لیے ہے۔ “ میں نے پوچھا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! یہ آپ کی جانب سے ہے اور آپ کے گھر والوں کی طرف سے خاص ہی یا عام مسلمانوں کی طرف سے بھی ہے ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : بلکہ عام مسلمانوں کی جانب سے بھی ہے۔
(ب) حضرت ابو موسیٰ (رض) سے منقول ہے کہ وہ اپنی بیٹیوں کو اپنے ہاتھوں سے قربانی ذبح کرنے کا حکم دیتے۔
(19162) Hazrat Imran bin Husain (RA) farmate hain ke Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Aye Fatima! Apni qurbani ke zibah hote waqt paas khari hona; kyunki qurbani ke khoon ke pehle qatre ke sath hi tere kiye huwe tamam gunah maaf kar diye jayenge aur yeh keh: { Inna Salati Wa Nusuki Wa Mahaya Wa Mamati Lillahi Rabbil Aalameen } [Al-An'am 162-163] ” Beshak meri namaz, meri qurbani, meri zindagi aur meri mout Allah Rabbul Aalameen ke liye hai. “ Maine poocha: Aye Allah ke Rasool! Yeh aap ki jaanib se hai aur aap ke ghar walon ki taraf se khaas hi ya aam muslimon ki taraf se bhi hai? Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Balke aam muslimon ki jaanib se bhi hai.
(b) Hazrat Abu Musa (RA) se manqol hai ke woh apni betiyon ko apne hathon se qurbani zibah karne ka hukum dete.
