(19747) Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Rivalry is only permissible in camel or horse racing or archery.

(١٩٧٤٧) حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : مقابلہ بازی صرف اونٹوں یا گھوڑ دوڑ میں یا تیر اندازی میں ہے۔
(19747) Hazrat Abu Huraira (RA) farmate hain ke Rasul Allah (SAW) ne farmaya : Muqabla bazi sirf oonton ya ghor dor mein ya teer andazi mein hai.
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There is no harm in competing in camel racing, archery, or horse racing."

(١٩٧٤٨) حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اونٹوں کی دوڑ، تیر اندازی یا گھوڑ دوڑ میں مقابلہ بازی کرنا جائز ہے۔
(19748) Hazrat Abu Huraira (RA) farmate hain ke Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Oonton ki daud, teer andazi ya ghor daud mein muqabla bazi karna jaiz hai.
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Rivalry is only in archery, horse racing or camel racing."

(١٩٧٤٩) حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : مقابلہ بازی صرف تیر اندازی یا گھوڑ دوڑ یا اونٹوں کی دوڑ میں ہے۔
(19749) Hazrat Abu Huraira (RA) farmate hain keh Rasul Allah (SAW) ne farmaya: Muqabla bazi sirf teer andazi ya ghor dor ya oonton ki dor mein hai.
(19750) Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Rivalry is only in archery, horse racing or camel racing.
(b) In the narration of 'Abbad bin Abi Saalih: Rivalry is only in archery, horse racing or camel racing.

(١٩٧٥٠) حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : مقابلہ بازی صرف گھوڑ دوڑ یا اونٹوں کی دوڑ میں ہے۔
(ب) عباد بن ابی صالح کی روایت میں ہے کہ مقابلہ بازی صرف تیر اندازی یا گھوڑ دوڑ یا اونٹوں کی دوڑ میں ہے۔

(b) Ibad bin abi saleh ki riwayat mein hai keh muqabla bazi sirf teer andazi ya ghor dor ya oonton ki dor mein hai.
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Rivalry is only in archery, camel racing, and horse racing.” Muhammad bin Amr said: He used to say: “Or in archery.”

(١٩٧٥١) حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : مقابلہ بازی صرف اونٹوں یا گھوڑ دوڑ میں ہے۔
محمد بن عمرو فرماتے ہیں کہ وہ کہتے ہیں : یا تیر اندازی میں۔
(19751) Hazrat Abu Huraira (RA) farmate hain keh Rasul Allah (SAW) ne farmaya : muqabla bazi sirf oonton ya ghor dor mein hai.
Muhammad bin Amr farmate hain keh woh kehte hain : ya teer andazi mein.
Nafi' narrates from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) raced trained horses from Al-Hafya' to Thaniyatul Wada', and he raced untrained horses from Thaniyatul Wada' to Masjid Bani Zuraiq. And Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to race his horse among them.

(١٩٧٥٢) نافع ابن عمر (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے تضمیر شدہ گھوڑوں میں حفیاء سے لے کر ثنیۃ الوداع تک مقابلہ بازی کروائی اور وہ گھوڑے جو تضمیر شدہ نہیں ان کا مقابلہ ثنیہ الوداع سے مسجد بنی زریق تک کروایا اور ابن عمر (رض) بھی ان کے درمیان مقابلہ کروایا کرتے تھے۔
Nafey bin Umar (RA) se naqal farmate hain ke Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne tameer shuda ghoron mein Hafia se lekar Saniya Alwada tak muqabla bazi karwai aur wo ghore jo tameer shuda nahi un ka muqabla Saniya Alwada se Masjid Bani Zareeq tak karwaya aur Ibn Umar (RA) bhi un ke darmiyaan muqabla karwaya karte thay.
Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had a she-camel named Adhba', and she never lost a race. But a Bedouin's camel overtook her, and the Muslims disliked it. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw the displeasure on their faces, one of them even said: "O Messenger of Allah! Adhba' has lost." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "It is the law of Allah that He gives worldly prominence to whomever He wills, and then He takes it away."

(١٩٧٥٣) حضرت انس بن مالک (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی اونٹنی عضباء تھی، وہ کبھی ہاری نہ تھی، لیکن ایک دیہاتی کا اونٹ اس سے سبقت لے گیا تو مسلمانوں کو یہ بات پسند نہ آئی۔ جب آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ان کے چہروں میں ناپسندیدگی دیکھی۔ ایک شخص نے کہہ بھی دیا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! عضباء ہار گئی۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اللہ کا یہ قانون ہے جس کو وہ دنیا میں عروج دیتا ہے۔ اس پر زوال بھی آتا ہے۔
(19753) Hazrat Anas bin Malik (RA) farmate hain keh Rasul Allah (SAW) ki untni Uzzaab thi, woh kabhi hari nah thi, lekin ek dehati ka unt us se subqat le gaya to musalmanon ko yeh baat pasand nah aai. Jab Aap (SAW) ne un ke chehron mein napasandeedgi dekhi. Ek shakhs ne keh bhi diya: Aye Allah ke Rasul! Uzzaab haar gai. Aap (SAW) ne farmaya: Allah ka yeh qanoon hai jis ko woh duniya mein urooj deta hai. Us par zawal bhi aata hai.
Salma bin Akwa (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that one day the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went to the people of Banu Aslam who were practicing archery in the marketplace. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “O Banu Ismail! Practice archery, for your father was an archer, and I am with such and such (group).” So the others stopped archery. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “What is the matter with you? Shoot arrows.” They said: “How can we shoot arrows when you are with them?” He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Shoot arrows, for I am with all of you.”

(١٩٧٥٤) سلمہ بن اکوع (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ایک دن اسلم قبیلہ کے لوگوں کی طرف گئے جو بازار میں نیزہ بازی کر رہے تھے، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اے بنو اسماعیل ! تم نیزہ بازی کرو، تمہارا باپ بھی تیر انداز تھا اور میں فلاں لوگوں کے ساتھ ہوں تو دوسروں نے تیر اندازی روک دی۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تمہیں کیا ہوا ؟ تم تیراندازی کرو۔ انھوں نے کہا : ہم کیسے تیر اندازی کریں۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) فلاں کے ساتھ ہیں۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تم تیر اندازی کرو، میں تم سب کے ساتھ ہوں۔
(19754) Salma bin Akwa (RA) farmate hain ki Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) aik din Aslam qabile ke logon ki taraf gaye jo bazaar mein neza bazi kar rahe the, Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Aye Banu Ismail! tum neza bazi karo, tumhara baap bhi teer andaz tha aur mein falan logon ke sath hun to dusron ne teer andazi rok di. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: tumhen kya hua? tum teer andazi karo. Unhon ne kaha: hum kaise teer andazi karen. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) falan ke sath hain. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: tum teer andazi karo, mein tum sab ke sath hun.
Muhammad bin 'Ayas bin Salmah bin Akwa' narrated from his father and he from his grandfather that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) passed by some people from the tribe of Aslam while they were practicing archery. He (ﷺ) said twice, "Good, shoot! You are the sons of so and so (i.e., a great archer). Shoot and I am with the son of so and so." So, the people stopped (shooting). He (ﷺ) said, "What is the matter with you?" They said, "How could we shoot while you are with the son of so and so?" The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Shoot, for I am with you all." The narrator said, "So they shot that day as they had never shot before. Then they dispersed and they (i.e., Banu Aslam) did not shoot arrows at each other (after embracing Islam)."

(١٩٧٥٥) محمد بن ایاس بن سلمہ بن اکوع اپنے والد سے اور وہ اپنے دادا سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اسلم قبیلہ کے لوگوں کے پاس سے گزرے۔ وہ تیر اندازی کر رہے تھے۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اچھا ہے دو مرتبہ کہا۔ تم تیر اندازی کرو کیونکہ تمہارا باپ بھی تیر انداز تھا۔ تم تیر اندازی کرو۔ میں ابن ادرع کے ساتھ ہوں تو لوگوں نے بھی اپنے ہاتھ روک لیے۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تمہیں کیا ہوا ہے ؟ انھوں نے کہا : ہم تیر اندازی نہیں کریں گے، جبکہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) فلاں کے ساتھ ہیں تو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تم تیر اندازی کرو، میں تمہارے سب کے ساتھ ہوں۔ راوی فرماتے ہیں کہ انھوں نے اس دن عام تیر اندازی کی۔ پھر وہ بکھر گئے۔ انھوں نے آپس میں تیر اندازی نہیں کی۔
(19755) Muhammad bin Iyas bin Salma bin Akwa apne walid se aur wo apne dada se naqal farmate hain ki Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) Aslam qabile ke logon ke pass se guzre. Wo teer andazi kar rahe the. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Achcha hai do martaba kaha. Tum teer andazi karo kyunki tumhara baap bhi teer andaz tha. Tum teer andazi karo. Main Ibn Adra ke sath hun to logon ne bhi apne hath rok liye. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Tumhen kya hua hai? Unhon ne kaha: Hum teer andazi nahin karenge, jab tak aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) falan ke sath hain to Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Tum teer andazi karo, main tumhare sab ke sath hun. Rawi farmate hain ki unhon ne us din aam teer andazi ki. Phir wo bikhar gaye. Unhon ne aapas mein teer andazi nahin ki.
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that some Abyssinians were playing with their spears in the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) came and threw pebbles at them. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "O Umar! Leave them alone."

(١٩٧٥٦) حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ حبشی نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس اپنے نیزوں سے کھیل رہے تھے تو حضرت عمر (رض) آئے اور ان کو کنکری ماری تو نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اے عمر (رض) ! ان کو چھوڑ دو ۔
