Chapter: Leaving Off Wrongs and Drawing Closer to Allah with Charity and Voluntary Acts of Goodness Hoping for a Response
باب الخروج من المظالم والتقرب إلى الله تعالى بالصدقة ونوافل الخير رجاء الإجابة
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 6394
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Verily, Allah is Pure and accepts only what is pure. And Allah has commanded the believers with what He has commanded the Messengers." Allah, the Exalted, said: "O Messengers, eat from the pure and do righteousness. Indeed, I, of what you do, am Knowing." [Al-Mu'minun: 51] And He also said: "O you who have believed, eat from the pure things which We have provided you." [Al-Baqarah: 172] Then you (the Prophet) made mention of a man who has journeyed far, his hair is dishevelled and dust-covered, he raises his hands towards the sky and cries out, 'O Lord, O Lord!' But his food is from what is unlawful, his drink is from what is unlawful, and he is nourished from what is unlawful, so how can his prayer be answered?”

(٦٣٩٤) ابو ہریرہ (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ وہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : بیشک اللہ تعالیٰ پاکیزہ ہیں اور صرف پاکیزہ ہی کو قبول کرتے ہیں اور اللہ تعالیٰ نے اہل ایمان کو حکم دیا ہے جو اس نے رسولوں کو حکم دیا ہے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا :” اے رسولو ! تم کھاؤ پاکیزہ چیزوں اور اعمال صالحہ کرو، جو تم اعمال کرتے ہو، بیشک میں جاننے والا ہوں “ [المؤمنون : ٥١] اور یہ بھی فرمایا : ” اے ایمان والو ! کھاؤ تم پاکیزہ چیزوں سے جو ہم نے تمہیں رزق دیا ہے “ [البقرۃ : ١٧٢] پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے تذکرہ کیا ایک ایسے شخص کا جو لمبا سفر کرتا ہے غبار آلود پراگندہ بالوں والا اپنے ہاتھ آسمان کی طرف پھیلاتا ہے اور یا رب یا رب کہہ کر پکارتا ہے جبکہ اس کا کھانا حرام، اس کا پینا حرام اور اس کی پرورش ہی حرام پر ہوئی تو اس کی دعا کیسے قبول کی جائے گی۔
(6394) Abu Hurairah (RA) se riwayat hai ki woh kehte hain ki Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Beshak Allah Ta'ala pakizah hain aur sirf pakizah hi ko qubool karte hain aur Allah Ta'ala ne ehle eman ko hukm diya hai jo usne rasoolon ko hukm diya hai. Allah Ta'ala ne farmaya: "Aye Rasoolon! Tum khao pakizah cheezon aur amal saliheh karo, jo tum amal karte ho, beshak main jaanne wala hun." [Al-Muminoon: 51] Aur yeh bhi farmaya: "Aye eman walon! Khaao tum pakizah cheezon se jo humne tumhen rizq diya hai." [Al-Baqarah: 172] Phir aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne tazkirah kiya ek aise shakhs ka jo lamba safar karta hai ghubar aalud paraganda baalon wala apne hath aasman ki taraf phaelata hai aur Ya Rabb Ya Rabb keh kar pukarta hai jabke us ka khana haram, us ka peena haram aur us ki parwarish hi haram par hui to us ki dua kaise qubool ki jayegi?
Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Allah the Almighty said: 'Whoever shows enmity to a Wali (close friend) of Mine, then I have declared war against him. And My servant does not draw near to Me with anything more loved by Me than the religious duties I have enjoined upon him, and My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory (Nawafil) prayers so that I shall love him. When I love him, I am his hearing with which he shall hear, his seeing with which he shall see, his hand with which he shall seize, and his foot with which he shall walk. Were he to ask (something) of Me, I would surely give it to him. And were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant him it.'” Imam Bukhari narrated it in his Sahih from Muhammad bin ‘Uthman bin Karamat.

(٦٣٩٥) ابو ہریرہ (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ رسول معظم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : بیشک اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا : جس نے میرے دوست (ولی) سے دشمنی کے اس نے میرے ساتھ اعلان جنگ کیا اور نہیں میرا کوئی بندہ میرا قرب حاصل کرتا کسی چیز کے ساتھ جو مجھے محبوب ہو اس میں سے جو میں نے اس پر فرائض فرض کیے اور وہ ہمیشہ نوافل کے ساتھ میرا قرب حاصل کرتا رہتا ہے حتیٰ کہ میں اس سے محبت کرنے لگتا ہوں جب میں اس سے محبت کرتا ہوں تو میں اس کا کان بن جاتا ہوں جس سے وہ سنتا ہے اور وہ آنکھ بن جاتا ہوں جس سے وہ دیکھتا ہے اور اس کا وہ ہاتھ جس سے وہ چھوتا ہے اور اس کے وہ پاؤں جن سے وہ چلتا ہے۔ اگر میرے سے میرا بندہ مانگے تو میں اسے دے دیتا ہوں۔ اگر وہ مجھ سے پناہ طلب کرے تو میں اسے پناہ دے دیتا ہوں۔
امام بخاری نے اس حدیث کو اپنی صحیح میں محمد بن عثمان بن کر امۃ سے بیان کیا ہے۔
(6395) Abu Huraira (RA) se riwayat hai ki Rasool e Maqam ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Beshak Allah Ta'ala ne farmaya: Jisne mere dost (wali) se dushmani ki usne mere sath elan e jang kiya aur nahin mera koi banda mera qurb hasil karta kisi cheez ke sath jo mujhe mahboob ho us mein se jo maine us par faraiz farz kiye aur wo hamesha nawafil ke sath mera qurb hasil karta raha hai hatta ki main us se mohabbat karne lagta hun jab main us se mohabbat karta hun to main uska kaan ban jata hun jisse wo sunta hai aur wo aankh ban jata hun jisse wo dekhta hai aur uska wo hath jisse wo chhuta hai aur uske wo paon jinse wo chalta hai. Agar mere se mera banda mange to main use de deta hun. Agar wo mujh se panah talab kare to main use panah de deta hun.
Imam Bukhari ne is hadees ko apni Sahih mein Muhammad bin Usman bin Kar Amah se bayan kiya hai.
Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: The gates of Heaven are opened on Monday and Thursday, and every servant [of Allah] who does not associate anything with Allah is forgiven, except a man between whom and his brother is enmity. It is said: Leave them until they are reconciled.
And this hadith has been narrated to us by Jarir, on the authority of Suhail, with a similar chain of transmitters but with this addition: “Allah says: Leave them until they are reconciled.” And this has been mentioned twice.

(٦٣٩٦) ابو ہریرہ (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ بیشک رسول معظم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ ہر پیر اور جمعرات کو آسمان کے دروازے کھولے جاتے ہیں اور ہر اس شخص کو معاف کیا جاتا ہے ، جو اللہ تعالیٰ کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہیں کرتا مگر اس شخص کو معاف نہیں کرتا جس کے دل میں اپنے بھائی کے متعلق کینہ ہو۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : کہا جاتا ہے کہ میں ان دونوں کو مہلت دیتا ہوں کہ وہ دونوں صلح صفائی کرلیں۔
اور ہمیں حدیث بیان کی جریر نے وہ سہل سے بیان کرتے ہیں کہ انھوں نے ایسی ہی حدیث بیان کی مگر یہ کہ اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتے ہیں کہ ان دونوں کو مہلت دو حتی کہ صلح کرلیں اور یہ بات دو مرتبہ کہی جاتی ہے۔
(6396) Abu Hurairah (RA) se riwayat hai ki beshak Rasul Moazzam ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne irshad farmaya ki har peer aur jummeraat ko aasman ke darwaze kholay jatay hain aur har us shakhs ko maaf kiya jata hai, jo Allah Ta'ala ke saath kisi ko sharik nahin karta magar us shakhs ko maaf nahin karta jis ke dil mein apne bhai ke mutalliq kina ho. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : kaha jata hai ki main in donon ko mohalat deta hun ki woh donon sulah safai kar len. Aur humain hadees bayaan ki Jarir ne woh Sahl se bayaan karte hain ki unhon ne aisi hi hadees bayaan ki magar yeh ki Allah Ta'ala farmate hain ki in donon ko mohalat do hatta ki sulah kar len aur yeh baat do martaba kahi jati hai.
Ibn Buraidah narrated from his father that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "No people ever break a covenant but that killing becomes widespread among them, and no people ever commit immorality openly but that Allah sends death upon them, and no people ever withhold the zakat but that Allah withholds rain from them."

(٦٣٩٧) ابن بریدہ اپنے باپ سے بیان کرتے ہیں کہ نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : کوئی قوم کبھی بھی کسی عہد کو نہیں توڑتی مگر ان میں قتل ہوتا ہے اور کسی قوم میں کبھی فحاشی ظاہر نہیں ہوتی، مگر اللہ ان پر موت کو مسلط کردیتے ہیں اور نہیں روکتی کوئی قوم زکوۃ کو مگر اللہ تعالیٰ ان سے بارش کو روک لیتا ہے۔
(6397) ibne barida apne baap se bayan karte hain ke nabi kareem ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : koi qaum kabhi bhi kisi ahd ko nahi torti magar un mein qatal hota hai aur kisi qaum mein kabhi fahashi zahir nahi hoti, magar allah un par maut ko musallat kar dete hain aur nahi rokti koi qaum zakat ko magar allah taala un se barish ko rok leta hai.
Narrated Abdullah bin Abbas: No nation broke its covenant but Allah set an enemy over them to take away some of what they had. And no immorality spreads among a people but Allah will grip them with death. And no nation decreases in measurement [in trade] but Allah, the Exalted, will afflict them with famine, and no nation withholds the Zakah but Allah will withhold rain from the sky. And no nation disobeys the command of Allah but He will set upon them [the enemy in] war. I think he [the Prophet] said, "Killing.”

(٦٣٩٨) حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس سے روایت ہے کہ کوئی قوم کبھی عہد نہیں توڑتی مگر اللہ تعالیٰ ان پر دشمن کو مسلط کردیتا ہے اور نہیں پھیلتی کسی قوم میں بےحیائی مگر اللہ تعالیٰ ان کو موت کے ساتھ پکڑتے ہیں اور کوئی قوم ناپ طول میں کمی نہیں کرتی مگر اللہ سبحانہ ان پر قحط سالی مسلط کردیتے ہیں اور کوئی قوم زکوۃ کو نہیں روکتی مگر اللہ تعالیٰ ان پر آسمان سے بارش کو روک لیتا ہے اور کوئی قوم اللہ کے حکم کو نہیں توڑتی مگر ان پر لڑائی مسلط ہوجاتی ہے میرا خیال ہے کہ انھوں نے لفظ ’ قتل ‘ فرمایا۔
(6398) Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas se riwayat hai ki koi qaum kabhi ahd nahin torti magar Allah Taala un par dushman ko musallat kar deta hai aur nahin phelti kisi qaum mein behayaayi magar Allah Taala un ko maut ke saath pakarte hain aur koi qaum naap tol mein kami nahin karti magar Allah Subhana un par qaht saali musallat kar dete hain aur koi qaum zakat ko nahin rokti magar Allah Taala un par aasman se baarish ko rok leta hai aur koi qaum Allah ke hukum ko nahin torti magar un par laraai musallat ho jaati hai mera khayal hai ki unhon ne lafz ' qatal ' farmaya.
