Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 15244
Hisham ibn Urwah reported from his father that Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The wife of Aws ibn Samit was beautiful and Aws was a man who suffered from a mental illness. When his illness worsened, he uttered words of Zihar (a form of divorce in pre-Islamic Arabia) to his wife, so Allah, the Almighty, the Exalted, revealed the verses about the expirement of Zihar.

(١٥٢٤٤) ہشام بن عروہ اپنے والد سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت عائشہ (رض) فرماتی ہیں : اوس بن صامت کی بیوی جمیلہ تھیں اور اوس ایسا شخص تھا جس کو جنون کی بیماری تھی، جب بیماری بڑھی تو اوس نے اپنی بیوی سے ظہار کرلیا تو اللہ رب العزت نے ظہار کا کفارہ نازل کردیا۔
hisham bin urwah apne walid se naql farmate hain ke hazrat ayesha (rz) farmati hain : aus bin samit ki biwi jamila thin aur aus aisa shakhs tha jis ko junoon ki bimari thi, jab bimari barhi to aus ne apni biwi se zihar karliya to allah rabb ul izzat ne zihar ka kaffara nazil kardiya.
١٥٢٤٤ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، نا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْحَافِظُ نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْهِلَالِيُّ، نا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ نا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا" أَنَّ جَمِيلَةَ كَانَتِ امْرَأَةَ أَوْسِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ وَكَانَ ⦗٦٢٩⦘ أَوْسٌ امْرَأً بِهِ لَمَمٌ فَإِذَا اشْتَدَّ بِهِ لَمَمُهُ ظَاهَرَ مِنِ امْرَأَتِهِ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى كَفَّارَةَ الظِّهَارِ "وَرَوَاهُ مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ فَأَرْسَلَهُ
