Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 1719
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Jibril (peace be upon him) came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) when the sun had passed its zenith. He said, "O Muhammad! Stand and pray the Zuhr prayer." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood and prayed the Zuhr prayer. When the sun had set, they stayed until the shadow of a man became equal to his height. He came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, "O Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), stand and pray the Asr prayer." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood and prayed the Asr prayer, then they stayed until the sun disappeared. Then Jibril said, "Stand and pray the Maghrib prayer." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood and prayed the prayer. When the sun had completely disappeared, they stayed until the redness had gone. He came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, "Stand and pray the Isha prayer." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood and prayed the prayer. Then he came to him when dawn was breaking for Fajr and said, "O Muhammad! Stand and pray." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood and prayed the Fajr prayer. Then he came the next day when the shadow of a man became twice his height and said, "O Muhammad! Stand." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood and prayed the Asr prayer. Then he came at the same time at Maghrib, when the sun had disappeared. He said, "Stand and pray the Maghrib prayer." Then he came at Isha when the first part of the night had passed and said, "Stand and pray the Isha prayer." Then he came in the morning when it was bright and Jibril said, "Stand and pray the Fajr prayer." Then he said, "Between these two times is the time for prayer."

(١٧١٩) سیدنا جابر بن عبداللہ انصاری (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ جبرائیل (علیہ السلام) نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس آئے جس وقت سورج ڈھل چکا تھا، اس نے کہا : اے محمد ! کھڑے ہوں ظہر کی نماز پڑھیں۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کھڑے ہوئے اور ظہر کی نماز پڑھائی، جس وقت سورج ڈھل گیا، پھر ٹھہرے رہے یہاں تک کہ آدمی کا سایہ اس کی مثل ہوگیا، وہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس آئے اور کہا : اے محمد (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کھڑے ہوں عصر کی نماز پڑھیں، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کھڑے ہوئے اور عصر کی نماز پڑھائی، پھر ٹھہرے رہے یہاں تک کہ سورج غائب ہوگیا، پھر جبرائیل نے کہا : کھڑے ہوں مغرب کی نماز پڑھیں، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کھڑے ہوئے اور نماز پڑھائی، جس وقتسورج مکمل غائب ہوگیا پھر ٹھہرے رہے یہاں تک کہ سرخی چلی گئی وہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس آئے اور کہا : کھڑے ہوں عشا کی نماز پڑھیں، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کھڑے ہوئے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے نماز پڑھی، پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس آئے جس وقت فجر صبح کے لیے طلوع ہونے لگی اور کہا : اے محمد ! کھڑے ہوں اور نماز پڑھیں ، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کھڑے ہوئے اور صبح کی نماز پڑھائی، پھر دوسرے روز آئے جس وقت آدمی کا سایہ اس کی دو مثل ہوگیا تھا اس نے کہا : اے محمد ! کھڑے ہوں آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کھڑے ہوئے اور عصر کی نماز پڑھی، پھر مغرب کو ایک ہی وقت میں آئے جس وقت سورج غائب ہوگیا۔ اس نے کہا : کھڑے ہوں مغرب کی نماز پڑھیں پھر عشاکو آئے جس وقت پہلی رات کا اول حصہ چلا گیا اور کہا : کھڑے ہوں عشا کی نماز پڑھیں، پھر صبح کو آئے جس وقت خوب روشنی ہوگئی جبرائیل نے کہا : کھڑے ہوں صبح کی نماز پڑھیں، پھر فرمایا : ان دونوں وقتوں کے درمیان نماز کا وقت ہے۔
(1719) Saidna Jabir bin Abdullah Ansari (Razi Allah Anhu) farmate hain ke Jibrail (Alaihi Salam) Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke pass aaye jis waqt suraj dhal chuka tha, is ne kaha: Aye Muhammad! khare hon zuhar ki namaz parhen. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) khare hue aur zuhar ki namaz parhai, jis waqt suraj dhal gaya, phir thahre rahe yahan tak ke aadmi ka saya is ki misl hogaya, woh Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke pass aaye aur kaha: Aye Muhammad ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) khare hon asr ki namaz parhen, Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) khare hue aur asr ki namaz parhai, phir thahre rahe yahan tak ke suraj ghaib hogaya, phir Jibrail ne kaha: khare hon maghrib ki namaz parhen, Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) khare hue aur namaz parhai, jis waqt suraj mukammal ghaib hogaya phir thahre rahe yahan tak ke surkhi chali gayi woh Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke pass aaye aur kaha: khare hon isha ki namaz parhen, Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) khare hue Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne namaz parhi, phir Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke pass aaye jis waqt fajr subah ke liye talua hone lagi aur kaha: Aye Muhammad! khare hon aur namaz parhen, Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) khare hue aur subah ki namaz parhai, phir dusre roz aaye jis waqt aadmi ka saya is ki do misl hogaya tha is ne kaha: Aye Muhammad! khare hon Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) khare hue aur asr ki namaz parhi, phir maghrib ko ek hi waqt mein aaye jis waqt suraj ghaib hogaya. Is ne kaha: khare hon maghrib ki namaz parhen phir isha ko aaye jis waqt pehli raat ka awwal hissa chala gaya aur kaha: khare hon isha ki namaz parhen, phir subah ko aaye jis waqt khoob roshni hogayi Jibrail ne kaha: khare hon subah ki namaz parhen, phir farmaya: in donon waqton ke darmiyan namaz ka waqt hai.
١٧١٩ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ السَّيَّارِيُّ،وَأَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ حَلِيمٍ الْمَرْوَزَيَّانِ قَالَا:أنا أَبُو الْمُوَجَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْفَزَارِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُبَارَكٍ، أنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ، أنا وَهْبُ بْنُ كَيْسَانَ ثنا جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ،قَالَ:جَاءَ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ فَقَالَ:" قُمْ يَا مُحَمَّدُ فَصَلِّ الظُّهْرَ فَقَامَ فَصَلَّى الظُّهْرَ حِينَ زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ ثُمَّ مَكَثَ حَتَّى كَانَ فَيْءُ الرَّجُلِ مِثْلَهُ فَجَاءَهُ فَقَالَ: قُمْ يَا مُحَمَّدُ فَصَلِّ الْعَصْرَ فَقَامَ فَصَلَّى الْعَصْرَ ثُمَّ مَكَثَ حَتَّى غَابَتِ الشَّمْسُ فَقَالَ: قُمْ فَصَلِّ الْمَغْرِبَ فَقَامَ فَصَلَّاهَا حِينَ غَابَتْ سَوَاءً ثُمَّ مَكَثَ حَتَّى ذَهَبَ الشَّفَقُ فَجَاءَهُ فَقَالَ: قُمْ فَصَلِّ الْعِشَاءَ فَقَامَ فَصَلَّاهَا ثُمَّ جَاءَهُ حِينَ سَطَعَ الْفَجْرُ لِلصُّبْحِ فَقَالَ: قُمْ يَا مُحَمَّدُ فَصَلِّ فَقَامَ فَصَلَّى الصُّبْحَ ثُمَّ جَاءَهُ مِنَ الْغَدِ حِينَ كَانَ فَيْءُ الرَّجُلِ مِثْلَهُ فَقَالَ: قُمْ يَا مُحَمَّدُ فَصَلِّ الظُّهْرَ فَقَامَ فَصَلَّى الظُّهْرَ،ثُمَّ جَاءَهُ حِينَ كَانَ فَيْءُ الرَّجُلِ مِثْلَيْهِ فَقَالَ:قُمْ يَا مُحَمَّدُ فَصَلِّ فَقَامَ فَصَلَّى الْعَصْرَ،ثُمَّ جَاءَهُ الْمَغْرِبُ حِينَ غَابَتِ الشَّمْسُ وَقْتًا وَاحِدًا لَمْ يَزَلْ عَنْهُ فَقَالَ:قُمْ فَصَلِّ الْمَغْرِبَ ثُمَّ جَاءَهُ ⦗٥٤٢⦘ الْعِشَاءُ حِينَ ذَهَبَ ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ الْأَوَّلُ فَقَالَ: قُمْ فَصَلِّ الْعِشَاءَ ثُمَّ جَاءَهُ الصُّبْحُ حِينَ أَسْفَرَ جِدًّا فَقَالَ: قُمْ فَصَلِّ الصُّبْحَ ثُمَّ قَالَ: مَا بَيْنَ هَذَيْنِ كُلُّهُ وَقْتٌ "وَبِمَعْنَاهُ رَوَاهُ بُرْدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ
