Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 19119
Nafi' narrates that Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to perform both ذبح (dhabh - slaughtering with a swift cut to the jugular vein) and نحر (nahr - slaughtering by making a deep incision with the knife below the throat) during the sacrifice in the Eid prayer ground.

(١٩١١٩) نافع حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر (رض) سینقل فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) قربانی عیدگاہ میں ذبح اور نحر کرتے۔
(19119) Nafeh Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (RA) say نقل farmaty hain keh Rasool Allah (SAW) qurbani eidgah mein zabah aur nahar karty.
١٩١١٩ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ شَرِيكٍ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، ثنا اللَّيْثُ، حَدَّثَنِي كَثِيرُ بْنُ فَرْقَدٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَذْبَحُ وَيَنْحَرُ بِالْمُصَلَّى. رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ
