Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 19421
Abu Saeed narrated that a man asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): We live in an area where there are oxen. What do you command us (regarding them)? So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: I have been told that the cattle of the children of Israel were transformed. I do not know which animal this is. You (ﷺ) neither ordered us to eat it nor forbade us from it.

(١٩٤٢١) ابو سعید فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے پوچھا : ہم گوہ کے علاقہ میں رہتے ہیں۔ آپ ہمیں کیا حکم دیتے ہیں ؟ تو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : مجھے بتایا گیا کہ بنی اسرائیل کے چوپائے مسخ کیے گئے تھے۔ مجھے معلوم نہیں یہ کونسا جانور ہے۔ نہ تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے کھانے کا حکم دیا اور نہ ہی منع فرمایا۔
(19421) Abu Saeed farmate hain keh aik shakhs ne Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se poocha: Hum goh ke ilaqe mein rehte hain. Aap humain kya hukm dete hain? To Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Mujhe bataya gaya keh Bani Israel ke chopaye musk kiye gaye the. Mujhe maloom nahin yeh konsa janwar hai. Na to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne khane ka hukm diya aur na hi mana farmaya.
١٩٤٢١ - أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ الْعَدْلُ بِبَغْدَادَ، أنبأ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الرَّزَّازُ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أنبأ دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ،عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ:جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: إِنَّا بِأَرْضٍ ⦗٥٤٥⦘ مَضَبَّةٍ فَمَا تَأْمُرُنَا؟فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" بَلَغَنِي أَنَّ أُمَّةً مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مُسِخَتْ دَوَابًّا، وَلَا أَدْرِي أِيُّ الدَّوَابِّ هِيَ ". فَلَمْ يَأْمُرْهُ وَلَمْ يَنْهَهُ
