Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 5440
Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: When we, the companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), used to travel, some of us would shorten the prayers and break the fast, while others would offer the prayers in full and observe the fast. So, the one who observed the fast would not find fault with the one who broke the fast, nor would the one who broke the fast find fault with the one who observed the fast. Similarly, the one who shortened the prayers would not find fault with the one who offered them in full, nor would the one who offered the prayers in full find fault with the one who shortened them.

(٥٤٤٠) انس بن مالک (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ ہم صحابہ کی جماعت میں سفر کرتے تھے تو بعض قصر اور افطار کرنے والے ہوتے اور بعض نماز مکمل پڑھتے اور روزہ بھی رکھتے تھے تو روزہ رکھنے والا افطار کرنے والے پر اور افطار کرنے والا روزہ رکھنے والے پر اور قصر کرنے والا نماز مکملپڑھنے والے پر اور مکمل پڑھنے والا قصر کرنے والے پر عیب نہیں لگاتا تھا۔
(5440) Anas bin Malik farmate hain ki hum sahaba ki jamat mein safar karte thay to baz qasar aur iftar karne wale hote aur baz namaz mukammal parhte aur roza bhi rakhte thay to roza rakhne wala iftar karne wale par aur iftar karne wala roza rakhne wale par aur qasar karne wala namaz mukammal parhne wale par aur mukammal parhne wala qasar karne wale par aib nahin lagata tha.
٥٤٤٠ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ رَجَاءَ، ثنا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ التَّغْلِبِيُّ، عَنْ زَيْدٍ الْعَمِّيِّ،عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ:" إِنَّا مَعَاشِرَ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كُنَّا نُسَافِرُ فَمِنَّا الصَّائِمُ وَمِنَّا الْمُفْطِرُ، وَمِنَّا الْمُتِمُّ وَمِنَّا الْمُقْصِرُ، فَلَمْ يَعِبِ الصَّائِمُ عَلَى الْمُفْطِرِ وَلَا الْمُفْطِرُ عَلَى الصَّائِمِ، وَلَا الْمُقْصِرُ عَلَى الْمُتِمِّ، وَلَا الْمُتِمُّ عَلَى الْمُقْصِرِ "
