Chapter: Starting with Prayer Before the Khutbah
باب: يبدأ بالصلاة قبل الخطبة
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 6202
Abu Sa'id reported that Marwan b. Hakam sent for the pulpit on the 'Id day and he ascended it and he delivered the Khutbah before the prayer. A person stood up and said: Marwan, you have violated the tradition. You have sent for the pulpit on the 'Id day, whereas it used not to be brought out before this, and you have delivered the Khutbah before the prayer, whereas it used to be delivered after the prayer. Abu Sa'id said: I asked: Who was he? They (the people) said: He was so and so, the son of so and so. Abu Sa'id said: I heard it from the Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) about it that if anyone amongst you sees an evil, he must change it with his hand; and if he is not able to do so, then with his tongue; and if he is not able to do so, then with his heart, and that is the weakest (kind of) faith.

(٦٢٠٢) ابو سعید فرماتے ہیں کہ مروان بن حکم نے عید کے دن منبر منگوایا۔ اس نے نماز سے پہلیخطبہ شروع کردیا تو ایک شخص کھڑا ہوا اور کہنے لگا : مروان ! تو نے سنت کی خلاف ورزی کی ہے تو نے عید کے دن منبر منگوایا، حالانکہ اس سے پہلے منبر نہیں نکالا گیا اور تو نے نماز سیپہلے خطبہ شروع کردیا حالانکہ خطبہ نماز کے بعد ہوتا تھا۔ ابو سعید پوچھنے لگے : وہ کون تھا ؟ فرمایا : فلاں بن فلاں تھا۔ ابو سعید فرماتے ہیں کہ اس بارے میں میں نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے سنا کہ جو برائی کو دیکھے تو اپنے ہاتھ سے روکنے کی طاقت ہو تو روکے ، ورنہ زبان سے منع کرے اور اگر اتنی بھی طاقتنہ ہو تو دل سے برا جانے ۔ یہ کمزور ترین ایمان ہے۔
(6202) Abu Saeed farmate hain ki Marwan bin Hakam ne Eid ke din mimbar mangvaya. Usne namaz se pehle khutba shuru kar diya to ek shakhs khara hua aur kehne laga : Marwan ! Tu ne sunnat ki khilaf varzi ki hai tu ne Eid ke din mimbar mangvaya, halanki is se pehle mimbar nahin nikala gaya aur tu ne namaz se pehle khutba shuru kar diya halanki khutba namaz ke baad hota tha. Abu Saeed puchne lage : Woh kaun tha ? Farmaya : Fulan bin Fulan tha. Abu Saeed farmate hain ki is bare mein main ne Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se suna ki jo burai ko dekhe to apne hath se rokne ki taqat ho to roke , warna zaban se mana kare aur agar itni bhi taqat na ho to dil se bura jane . Yeh kamzor tareen imaan hai.
٦٢٠٢ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بِشْرَانَ بِبَغْدَادَ، أنبأ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَفَّانَ، ثنا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ رَجَاءٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ،وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا:ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ، ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ رَجَاءٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، وَعَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ،عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ:أَخْرَجَ مَرْوَانُ الْمِنْبَرَ فِي يَوْمِ عِيدٍ وَبَدَأَ بِالْخُطْبَةِ قَبْلَ الصَّلَاةِ،فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ:⦗٤١٧⦘ يَا مَرْوَانُ خَالَفْتَ السُّنَّةَ، أَخْرَجَتَ الْمِنْبَرَ فِي يَوْمِ عِيدٍ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ يُخْرَجُ بِهِ، وَبَدَأْتَ بِالْخُطْبَةِ قَبْلَ الصَّلَاةِ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ يُبْدَأُ بِهَا،قَالَ:فَقَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مَنْ هَذَا قَالُوا: فُلَانُ بْنُ فُلَانٍ،فَقَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ:أَمَّا هَذَا فَقَدْ قَضَى مَا عَلَيْهِ،سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:" مَنْ رَأَى مُنْكَرًا فَاسْتَطَاعَ أَنْ يُغَيِّرَهُ بِيَدِهِ فَلْيُغَيِّرْهُ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ بِيَدِهِ فَبِلِسَانِهِ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ بِلِسَانِهِ فَبِقَلْبِهِ، وَذَلِكَ أَضْعَفُ الْإِيمَانِ ". لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ أَبِي مُعَاوِيَةَ، رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ، عَنْ أَبِي كُرَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مُعَاوِيَةَ
