Karib said: I asked Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him), "Tell me, how did you act on the night you were behind the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)?" He said: We came from that valley in which people make their camels kneel to spend the night. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) made his she-camel kneel down, then he urinated. Then he asked for water for ablution and performed a light ablution. I said: "O Messenger of Allah! Prayer?" He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Prayer is ahead of you." He said: Then you rode until we came to Muzdalifah. The Iqamah for Maghrib was pronounced. Then the people made their camels kneel down at their places, and they had not yet loosened their halters when the Iqamah for Isha was pronounced. Then the people were relieved. I said: "What did you do in the morning?" He said: Fadl became your riding companion (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and I was on foot in the front caravan of Quraysh.

(٩٥٠١) کریب کہتے ہیں کہ انھوں نے اسامہ بن زید (رض) سے پوچھا : مجھے بتاؤ جس رات تم رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ردیف تھے اس دن تم نے کیسے کیا تھا ؟ کہتے ہیں : ہم اس گھاٹی سے آئے جس میں لوگ رات گزرانے کے لیے اونٹ بٹھاتے ہیں، رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اپنی اونٹنی بٹھائی، پھر پیشاب کیا ۔ پھر وضو کا پانی منگوایا اور ہلکا پھلکا وضو کیا۔ میں نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ! نماز، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : نماز تیرے آگے ہے ، کہتے ہیں : پھر آپ سوار ہوئے حتیٰ کہ ہم مزدلفہ آئے، مغرب کی اقامت کہی گئی، پھر لوگوں نے اپنی اپنی جگہوں پر اونٹ بٹھائے اور ابھی انھوں نے کجاوے نہ کھولے تھے کہ عشا کی اقامت ہوگئی۔ پھر لوگ آزاد ہوگئے، میں نے کہا : تم نے صبح کیا کیا ؟ کہتے ہیں : فضل آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کا ردیف بنا اور میں پیادہ قریش کے اگلے قافلے میں تھا۔
(9501) Karib kehte hain ke unhon ne Osama bin Zaid (RA) se pucha : mujhe batao jis raat tum Rasul Allah (SAW) ke radif the us din tum ne kaise kiya tha ? Kehte hain : hum us ghati se aaye jis mein log raat guzarane ke liye unt bithate hain, Rasul Allah (SAW) ne apni untni bithayi, phir peshab kiya . Phir wazu ka pani mangwaya aur halka phalka wazu kiya. Main ne kaha : aye Allah ke Rasul (SAW) ! Namaz, aap (SAW) ne farmaya : namaz tere aage hai , kehte hain : phir aap sawar huye hatta ke hum Muzdalifah aaye, Maghrib ki iqamat kahi gayi, phir logon ne apni apni jagahon par unt bithaye aur abhi unhon ne kajave na khole the ke Isha ki iqamat hogayi. Phir log azad hogaye, main ne kaha : tum ne subah kya kiya ? Kehte hain : Fazal aap (SAW) ka radif bana aur main paidal Quresh ke agle qafle mein tha.
٩٥٠١ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنُ يُونُسَ، ثنا زُهَيْرٌ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ، أَخْبَرَنِي كُرَيْبٌ،أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ أُسَامَةَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ قُلْتُ:أَخْبِرْنِي كَيْفَ فَعَلْتُمْ، أَوْ صَنَعْتُمْ عَشِيَّةَ رَدِفْتَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟قَالَ:جِئْنَا الشِّعْبَ الَّذِي يُنِيخُ فِيهِ النَّاسُ لِلْمُعَرَّسِ، فَأَنَاخَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَاقَتَهُ، ثُمَّ بَالَ،مَا قَالَ زُهَيْرٌ:إِهْرَاقُ الْمَاءِ،ثُمَّ دَعَا بِالْوَضُوءِ فَتَوَضَّأَ وُضُوءًا لَيْسَ بِالْبَالِغِ جِدًّا قُلْتُ:يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، الصَّلَاةَ،قَالَ:" الصَّلَاةُ أَمَامَكَ "قَالَ: فَرَكِبَ حَتَّى قَدِمْنَا الْمُزْدَلِفَةَ فَأَقَامَ الْمَغْرِبَ، ثُمَّ أَنَاخَ النَّاسُ فِي مَنَازِلِهِمْ وَلَمْ يَحِلُّوا حَتَّى أَقَامَ الْعِشَاءَ فَصَلَّى ثُمَّ حَلَّ النَّاسُ،قَالَ:قُلْتُ: كَيْفَ فَعَلْتُمْ حِينَ أَصْبَحْتُمْ؟،قَالَ:رَدِفَهُ الْفَضْلُ وَانْطَلَقْتُ أَنَا فِي سُبَّاقِ قُرَيْشٍ عَلَى رِجْلِيَّ، أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ آدَمَ، عَنْ زُهَيْرِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ
