Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 9968
Ya'la ibn 'Abdur-Rahman ibn Hurmuz narrates from 'Abdullah ibn 'Abadah az-Zarqi that he used to hunt birds at the well of Ahab. 'Abadah saw me, while I was holding some birds that I had caught. He took them from me and set them free, then said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) made the area between the two lava flows of Medina a sanctuary, just as Ibrahim (peace be upon him) made Mecca a sanctuary, and 'Abadah was amongst the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

(٩٩٦٨) یعلی بن عبدالرحمن بن ہرمز عبداللہ بن عبادہ زرقی سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ وہ اہاب کے کنویں پر چڑیوں کا شکار کرتے تھے جو وہاں تھیں، عبادہ نے مجھے دیکھ لیا، میں نے چڑیا پکڑ رکھی تھیں، اس نے مجھ سے چھین لیں اور چھوڑ دیں، پھر فرمایا کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے مدینہ کے دونوں کناروں کے درمیانی جگہ کو حرم قرار دیا ہے، جیسے ابراہیم (علیہ السلام) نے مکہ کو حرم قرار دیا ہے اور عبادہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے صحابہ میں سے تھے۔
Yaali bin Abdur Rahman bin Hurmuz Abdullah bin Ubadah Zurqi se naqal farmate hain ke woh Ahab ke kuen per chidiyon ka shikar karte thay jo wahan thin, Ubadah ne mujhe dekh liya, maine chidiya pakad rakhi thin, usne mujhse chheen lin aur chhod din, phir farmaya ke Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne Madina ke donon kinaron ke darmiyaani jagah ko haram qarar diya hai, jaise Ibrahim (Alaihissalam) ne Makkah ko haram qarar diya hai aur Ubadah aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke sahaba mein se thay.
٩٩٦٨ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْقَطَّانُ، بِبَغْدَادَ، أنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، أنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو ضَمْرَةَ أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ اللَّيْثِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ حَرْمَلَةَ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ هُرْمُزَ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُبَادَةَ الزُّرَقِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَصِيدُ الْعَصَافِيرَ فِي بِئْرِ إهَابٍ وَكَانَتْ لَهُمْ فَرَآنِي عُبَادَةُ وَقَدْ أَخَذْتُ عُصْفُورًا فَانْتَزَعَهُ مِنِّي،فَأَرْسَلَهُ وَقَالَ:" إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَرَّمَ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْهَا كَمَا حَرَّمَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ مَكَّةَ "، وَكَانَ عُبَادَةُ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
