Chapter: The Statement of Allah Taa'la: "... And the moving creatures of all kinds that He has scattered therein..."

بَابُ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى: {وَبَثَّ فِيهَا مِنْ كُلِّ دَابَّةٍ}
Sahih al-Bukhari 3297
Narrated Ibn `Umar: That he heard the Prophet delivering a sermon on the pulpit saying, Kill snakes and kill Dhu-at- Tufyatain (i.e. a snake with two white lines on its back) and ALBATROSS (i.e. a snake with short or mutilated tail) for they destroy the sight of one's eyes and bring about abortion.
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر ؓسے روایت ہے، انھوں نے نبی کریم ﷺ سے سنا، آپ منبر پر خطبہ دیتے ہوئے فرمارہے تھے: ’’سانپوں کو مار ڈالو، خصوصاً وہ سانپ جن کے سر پر دو نقطے ہوں اور وہ جو دم بریدہ ہوں کیونکہ یہ دونوں نور بصارت زائل کردیتے ہیں اور حاملہ کا حمل تک گرا دیتے ہیں۔‘‘
Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai, unhon ne Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se suna, aap minbar par khutba dete hue farma rahe the: "Saanpon ko maar dalo, khusoosan woh saanp jin ke sar par do nuqte hon aur woh jo dum-bureeda hon kyunke ye dono noor-e-basarat zayil kar dete hain aur hamla ka hamal tak gira dete hain."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، أَنَّه سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ ، يَقُولُ : اقْتُلُوا الْحَيَّاتِ وَاقْتُلُوا ذَا الطُّفْيَتَيْنِ وَالْأَبْتَرَ فَإِنَّهُمَا يَطْمِسَانِ الْبَصَرَ وَيَسْتَسْقِطَانِ الْحَبَلَ .
