Sahih al-Bukhari 5097
Narrated `Aisha: Three principles were established because of Barira: (i) When Banra was manumitted she was given the option (to remain with her slave husband or not). (ii) Allah's Apostle said The Wala of the slave) is for the one who manumits (the slave). (iii) When Allah's Apostle entered (the house), he saw a cooking pot on the fire but he was given bread and meat soup from the soup of the home. The Prophet said, Didn't I see the cooking pot (on the fire)? It was said, That is the meat given in charity to Barira, and you do not eat the (things given in) charity. The Prophet said, It is an object of charity for Barira, and it is a present for us.
سیدہ عائشہ ؓ سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے فرمایا: کہ سیدہ بریرہ ؓ کے ساتھ تین سنتیں قائم ہوئی ہیں: انہیں آزاد کیا یا اور اختیار دیا گیا، نیز رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”ولاء کا تعلق آزاد کرنے والے کے ساتھ قائم ہوتا ہے۔“ ایک دفعہ رسول اللہ ﷺ گھر میں تشریف لائے تو ایک ہانڈی چولہے پر تھی۔ آپ کے لیے روٹی اور گھر کا سالن پیش کیا گیا۔ آپ نے فرمایا: ”کیا میں ہنڈیا نہیں دیکھی۔“ ؟عرض کی گئی۔ وہ تو اس گوشت کی تھی جو سیدہ بریرۃ ؓ کو صدقے میں ملا تھا اور آپ صدقہ نہیں کھاتے۔ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”وہ اس کے لیے صدقہ تھا اور (اب) ہمارے لیے (اس کی طرف سے) تحفہ ہے۔“
Sayyida Aisha (Radi Allahu Anha) se riwayat hai, unhon ne farmaya ke Sayyida Barira (Radi Allahu Anha) ke saath teen sunnatein qaim hui hain: unhein azad kiya gaya aur ikhtiyar diya gaya, neez Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Walaa ka talluq azad karne wale ke saath qaim hota hai." Ek dafa Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ghar mein tashreef laye to ek haandi choolhe par thi. Aap ke liye roti aur ghar ka salan pesh kiya gaya. Aap ne farmaya: "Kya main ne handiya nahin dekhi?" Arz ki gayi. Woh to is gosht ki thi jo Sayyida Barira (Radi Allahu Anha) ko sadqe mein mila tha aur aap sadqa nahin khate. Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Woh is ke liye sadqa tha aur (ab) hamare liye (is ki taraf se) tuhfa hai."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : كَانَ فِي بَرِيرَةَ ثَلَاثُ سُنَنٍ عَتَقَتْ فَخُيِّرَتْ ، وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : الْوَلَاءُ لِمَنْ أَعْتَقَ ، وَدَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَبُرْمَةٌ عَلَى النَّارِ فَقُرِّبَ إِلَيْهِ خُبْزٌ وَأُدْمٌ مِنْ أُدْمِ الْبَيْتِ ، فَقَالَ : لَمْ أَرَ الْبُرْمَةَ ؟ فَقِيلَ : لَحْمٌ تُصُدِّقَ بِهِ عَلَى بَرِيرَةَ وَأَنْتَ لَا تَأْكُلُ الصَّدَقَةَ ، قَالَ : هُوَ عَلَيْهَا صَدَقَةٌ وَلَنَا هَدِيَّةٌ .
