Sahih al-Bukhari 927
Ibn `Abbas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that once the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ascended the pulpit and it was the last gathering in which he took part. He was covering his shoulder with a big cloak and binding his head with an oily bandage. He glorified and praised Allah and said, "O people! Come to me." So the people came and gathered around him and he then said, 'Amma ba'du.' 'From now onward the Ansar will decrease and other people will increase. So anybody who becomes a ruler of the followers of Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and has the power to harm or benefit people then he should accept the good from the benevolent among them (Ansar) and overlook the faults of their wrong-doers.'
حضرت ابن عباس ؓ سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے فرمایا کہ نبی ﷺ منبر پر تشریف فر ہوئے اور یہ آپ کی آخری نشست تھی جس میں آپ شریک ہوئے۔ آپ اپنے شانوں پر بڑی چادر ڈالے ہوئے سر پر چکنی پٹی باندھے ہوئے تھے۔ آپ نے اللہ کی حمد و ثنا کے بعد فرمایا: ’’لوگو! میرے قریب ہو جاؤ۔‘‘چنانچہ لوگ آپ کے قریب جمع ہو گئے تو آپ نے فرمایا: ’’أما بعد! دیگر لوگ تو بڑھتے جائیں گے مگر قبلہ انصار کم ہوتا جائے گا، لہذا امت محمد ﷺ میں سے جو شخص کسی بھی شکل میں حکومت کرے جس کی وجہ سے دوسروں کو نفع یا نقصان پہنچانے کا اختیار رکھتا ہو تو اسے چاہئے کہ انصار کے نیکوکاروں کی نیکی قبول کرے اور خطا کاروں کی لغزشوں سے درگزر کرے۔‘‘
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (Radiyallahu Anhu) se riwayat hai, unhon ne farmaya ke Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) minbar par tashreef-farma hue aur yeh aap ki aakhri nishast thi jis mein aap shareek hue. Aap apne shanon par bari chadar dale hue sar par chakni patti bandhe hue thay. Aap ne Allah ki hamd-o-sana ke baad farmaya: ''Logo! Mere qareeb ho jao.'' Chunanche log aap ke qareeb jama ho gaye to aap ne farmaya: ''Amma Baad! Deegar log to barhte jayein ge magar qabila-e-ansar kam hota jaye ga, lehaza ummat-e-Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) mein se jo shakhs kisi bhi shakl mein hukoomat kare jis ki wajah se dusron ko nafa ya nuqsan pahunchane ka ikhtiyar rakhta ho to ise chahiye ke ansar ke naiko-kaaron ki naiki qabool kare aur khata-kaaron ki laghzhon se darguzar kare.' '
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْغَسِيلِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَ : صَعِدَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمِنْبَرَ ، وَكَانَ آخِرَ مَجْلِسٍ جَلَسَهُ مُتَعَطِّفًا مِلْحَفَةً عَلَى مَنْكِبَيْهِ قَدْ عَصَبَ رَأْسَهُ بِعِصَابَةٍ دَسِمَةٍ فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِلَيَّ ، فَثَابُوا إِلَيْهِ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : أَمَّا بَعْدُ ، فَإِنَّ هَذَا الْحَيَّ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ يَقِلُّونَ وَيَكْثُرُ النَّاسُ ، فَمَنْ وَلِيَ شَيْئًا مِنْ أُمَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاسْتَطَاعَ أَنْ يَضُرَّ فِيهِ أَحَدًا أَوْ يَنْفَعَ فِيهِ أَحَدًا فَلْيَقْبَلْ مِنْ مُحْسِنِهِمْ وَيَتَجَاوَزْ عَنْ مُسِيئِهِمْ .
