Sahih Ibn Hibban 7443
Qais said: Jarir ibn Abdullah said to me, "We were sitting with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, when he looked at the moon on the night of a full moon and said, 'Verily, you will see your Lord just as you see this moon, and you will not be harmed by seeing Him. So if you are able not to miss a prayer before the rising of the sun and before its setting, then do so.'" Then he recited the verse, "And glorify the praises of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting." (50:39)
قیس کہتے ہیں کہ جریر بن عبداللہ نے مجھ سے کہا کہ ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ بیٹھے ہوئے تھے کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے چودھویں کے چاند کو دیکھا اور فرمایا کہ تم اپنے رب کو اسی طرح دیکھو گے جیسے اس چاند کو دیکھ رہے ہو اور اس کے دیکھنے میں تمہیں کوئی تنگی نہ ہوگی، پس اگر تم سے ہو سکے تو سورج نکلنے سے پہلے اور سورج ڈوبنے سے پہلے کی نماز ہرگز نہ چھوڑو، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے یہ آیت پڑھی {وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ الْغُرُوبِ}
Qais kehte hain keh Jarir bin Abdullah ne mujh se kaha keh hum Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke sath baithe hue the keh aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne chaudhvin ke chand ko dekha aur farmaya keh tum apne Rab ko isi tarah dekhoge jaise is chand ko dekh rahe ho aur is ke dekhne mein tumhen koi tangi na hogi, pas agar tum se ho sake to suraj nikalne se pehle aur suraj dubne se pehle ki namaz hargiz na chhoro, phir aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne yeh ayat padhi {w sabi7 bi 7amdi rabbika qabla ţulū'i sh-shamsi wa qabla l-ghurūbi}
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ بِسْطَامٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى الْقَطَّانُ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي قَيْسٌ قَالَ قَالَ لِي جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ كُنَّا جُلُوسًا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذْ نَظَرَ إِلَى الْقَمَرِ لَيْلَةَ الْبَدْرِ فَقَالَ «أَمَا إِنَّكُمْ سَتَرَوْنَ رَبَّكُمْ كَمَا تَرَوْنَ هَذَا لَا تُضَامُونَ فِي رُؤْيَتِهِ فَإِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَنْ لَا تُغْلَبُوا عَلَى صَلَاةٍ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ غُرُوبِهَا فَافْعَلُوا» ثُمَّ قَرَأَ {وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ غُرُوبِهَا}
