Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 1327
Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to the mosque, and the doors of the houses of his Companions (may Allah be pleased with them all) faced the mosque. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Turn the fronts of these houses away from the mosque." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the mosque, but the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them all) had not yet changed anything, hoping that there might be some concession for them in this regard. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said again: "Turn the fronts of these houses away from the mosque, for I do not allow the mosque for a woman in menses or for a person who is in a state of Janabah (major impurity)."

سیدہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا فرماتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مسجد میں تشریف لائے اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے صحابہ کرام کے گھروں کے رُخ مسجد کی طرف تھے۔ تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”ان گھروں کے رُخ مسجد کی طرف تبدیل کردو۔“ پھر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مسجد میں داخل ہوئے تو صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہم نے ابھی تک کچھ تبدیلی نہیں کی تھی۔ اس امید پر کہ اس سلسلے میں اُن کے لئے رخصت نازل ہو جائے گی۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پھر فرمایا: ”ان گھروں کے دروازے مسجد سے (دوسری طرف) موڑ دو، بیشک میں جنبی شخص اور حائضہ عورت کے لئے مسجد کو حلال قرار نہیں دیتا۔“
Sayyida Ayesha raza Allah anha farmati hain ke Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam masjid mein tashreef laaye aur aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke sahaba kiram ke gharon ke rukh masjid ki taraf thay. To aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: “In gharon ke rukh masjid ki taraf tabdeel kardo.” Phir Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam masjid mein dakhil huye to sahaba raza Allah anhum ne abhi tak kuch tabdeeli nahin ki thi. Iss umeed par ke iss silsile mein un ke liye rukhsat nazil ho jayegi. Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne phir farmaya: “In gharon ke darwaze masjid se (doosri taraf) mod do, beshak mein junubi shakhs aur haiza aurat ke liye masjid ko halal qarar nahin deta.”
نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، نَا مُعَلَّى بْنُ أَسَدٍ ، نَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَفْلَتُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ ، حَدَّثَتْنِي جَسْرَةُ بِنْتُ دَجَاجَةَ ، قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ: جَاءَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَوُجُوهُ بُيُوتِ أَصْحَابِهِ شَارِعَةٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، فَقَالَ:" وَجِّهُوا هَذِهِ الْبُيُوتَ عَنِ الْمَسْجِدِ"، ثُمَّ دَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمْ يَصْنَعِ الْقَوْمُ شَيْئًا رَجَاءَ أَنْ يَنْزِلَ لَهُمْ فِي ذَلِكَ رُخْصَةٌ، فَخَرَجَ عَلَيْهِمْ بَعْدُ، فَقَالَ:" وَجِّهُوا هَذِهِ الْبُيُوتَ عَنِ الْمَسْجِدِ ؛ فَإِنِّي لا أُحِلُّ الْمَسْجِدَ لِحَائِضٍ وَلا جُنُبٍ"
