Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 1333
Narrated Aisha, the wife of the Prophet, that Saad was wounded at the Battle of the Trench. An arrow hit a vein in his arm and he was severely wounded. The Prophet had a tent pitched for him in the mosque so that he could tend to him more easily. The narrator said that when his wound started to heal, Saad prayed to Allah, "O Allah, You know that nothing is dearer to me than to fight for Your religion against those who have rejected Your Prophet and expelled him from Mecca, and inflicted all sorts of hardships on him. I think that You have ended the war between us and them. So, let my wound remain open so that I may die a martyr's death from it." The narrator said that he was in that condition when one night his wound burst open, and so much blood flowed from it that it entered the tent of the people nearby. They cried out, "O people of the tent, what is this that is coming to us from your tent?" When they looked, they saw that Saad's chest had been split open by the wound, and his blood was gushing out with a loud noise.

سیدہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ سیدنا سعد رضی اللہ عنہ (جنگ خندق میں) ہفت اندام کی رگ میں تیر لگ گیا (اور وہ شدید زخمی ہو گئے) نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اُن کے لئے مسجد میں خیمہ لگوایا تاکہ قریب رہ کر اُن کی تیمار داری کر سکیں۔ راوی کہتے ہیں کہ اُن کا زخم بھرنے لگا۔ تو اُنہوں نے اللہ تعالیٰ سے یہ دعا کی، اے اللہ، تو خوب جانتا ہے کہ میرے نزدیک اس سے زیادہ محبوب کوئی چیز نہیں کہ میں تیرے دین کے لئے ایسے لوگوں سے جہاد کروں جنہوں نے تیرے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو جھٹلایا اور اسے (مکّہ مکرّمہ سے) نکال دیا۔ اور طرح طرح کی تکلیف دیں۔ میرا خیال ہے کہ تُو نے ہمارے اور ان کے درمیان جنگ ختم کر دی ہے۔ لہٰذا میرے اس زخم کو جاری کر دے تاکہ میری موت (شہادت) اسی زخم کی وجہ سے ہو جائے۔ راوی کہتا ہے کہ وہ اسی حال میں تھے کہ ایک رات اُن کا زخم پھوٹ پڑا، اُن کا خون اس قدر بہہ نکلا کہ وہ دوسرے لوگوں کے خیمے میں داخل ہوگیا ـ تو اُنہوں نے پکار کر پوچھا کہ اے خیمے والو، یہ کیا چیز تمھاری طرف سے ہمارے خیمے میں آرہی ہے؟ تو اُنہوں نے دیکھا تو سیدنا سعد رضی اللہ عنہ کا سینہ زخم کی وجہ سے پھٹ چکا تھا اور اُن کا خون تیز آواز کے ساتھ نکل رہا تھا۔
Sayyida Ayesha Raziallahu Anha se riwayat hai ki Sayyiduna Saad Raziallahu Anhu jang khandaq mein haftindam ki rag mein teer lag gaya aur wo shadeed zakhmi ho gaye Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne unke liye masjid mein khaima lagwaya taake kareeb reh kar unki timardari kar sakein Ravi kehte hain ki unka zakhm bharne laga to unhon ne Allah Ta'ala se ye dua ki aye Allah tu khoob janta hai ki mere nazdeek is se zyada mahboob koi cheez nahi ki main tere deen ke liye aise logon se jihad karoon jinhone tere Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ko jhutlaya aur use Makkah Mukarrama se nikal diya aur tarah tarah ki takleef di mere khayal hai ki tu ne hamare aur unke darmiyaan jang khatam kar di hai lihaza mere is zakhm ko jari kar de taake meri maut shahadat isi zakhm ki wajah se ho jaye Ravi kehta hai ki wo isi haal mein the ki ek raat unka zakhm phoot pada unka khoon is kadar beh nikla ki wo dusre logon ke khaime mein dakhil ho gaya to unhon ne pukar kar poocha ki aye khaime walo ye kya cheez tumhari taraf se hamare khaime mein aa rahi hai to unhon ne dekha to Sayyiduna Saad Raziallahu Anhu ka seena zakhm ki wajah se phat chukka tha aur unka khoon tez aawaz ke sath nikal raha tha
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّ سَعْدًا رُمِيَ فِي أَكْحَلِهِ، فَضَرَبَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خِبَاءً فِي الْمَسْجِدَ لِيَعُودَهُ مِنْ قَرِيبٍ، قَالَ: فَتَحَجَّرَ كَلْمُهُ لِلْبُرْءِ، فَقَالَ: " اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ تَعْلَمُ أَنْ لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ أَحَبَّ إِلَيَّ أَنْ أُجَاهِدَ فِيكَ مِنْ قَوْمٍ كَذَّبُوا نَبِيَّكَ، وَأَخْرَجُوهُ، وَفَعَلُوا وَفَعَلُوا، وَإِنِّي أَظُنُّ أَنْ قَدْ وُضِعَتِ الْحَرْبُ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَهُمْ، فَافْجُرْ هَذَا الْكَلْمَ حَتَّى يَكُونَ مَوْتِي فِيهِ، قَالَ: فَبَيْنَاهُمْ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ إِذِ انْفَجَرَ كَلْمُهُ فَسَالَ الدَّمُ مِنْ جُرْحِهِ حَتَّى دَخَلَ خِبَاءَ الْقَوْمِ، فَنَادَوْا: يَا أَهْلَ الْخِبَاءِ، مَا هَذَا الَّذِي يَأْتِينَا مِنْ قِبَلِكُمْ، فَنَظَرُوا فَإِذَا لَبَّتُهُ قَدِ انْفَجَرَ مِنْ كَلْمِهِ، وَإِذَا الدَّمُ لَهُ هُدَيْرٍ"
