كِتَابُ الْوُضُوءِ
Chapter on the Evidence That the Wudu Ordered for Janabah Before Eating is the Same as the Wudu for Prayer.
بَابُ ذِكْرِ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ الْوُضُوءَ الَّذِي أُمِرَ بِهِ الْجُنُبُ لِلْأَكْلِ كَوُضُوءِ الصَّلَاةِ سَوَاءً.

Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 217
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked about a person who is in the state of Janabah (major ritual impurity), can he eat something or sleep? He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied: "(Yes) when he performs ablution like that for prayer.”

سیدنا جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما بیان کرتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے جنبی شخص کے متعلق پوچھا گیا کہ کیا وہ کچھ کھا سکتا ہے یا وہ سو سکتا ہے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”(ہاں) جب وہ نماز کے وضو جیسا وضو کرلے۔“
Sayyidaana Jaabir bin Abdullah Radi Allahu Anhuma bayaan karte hain keh Nabi Akram Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam se junubi shakhs ke mutalliq poocha gaya keh kya woh kuch kha sakta hai ya woh so sakta hai? Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: ”(Haan) jab woh namaz ke wuzu jaisa wuzu kar le."
نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، وَالْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ، قَالا: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبَانَ الْوَرَّاقُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُوَيْسٍ الْمَدَنِيُّ ، عَنْ شُرَحْبِيلَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ: سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْجُنُبِ، هَلْ يَأْكُلُ أَوْ يَنَامُ؟ قَالَ:" إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلاةِ"
