كِتَابُ الصَّلَاةِ
Chapter on the Explanation of the Unexplained Word That I Mentioned, and the Evidence That the Prophet, Peace Be Upon Him, Ordered the Repetition of Some of the Adhan but Not All of It, and That He Only Ordered the Iqama to Be Odd.
بَابُ ذِكْرِ الْخَبَرِ الْمُفَسِّرِ لِلَّفْظَةِ الْمُجْمَلَةِ الَّتِي ذَكَرْتُهَا، وَالدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّمَا أَمَرَ بأَنْ يُشْفَعَ بَعْضُ الْأَذَانِ لَا كُلُّهَا، وَأَنَّهُ إِنَّمَا أَمَرَ بِأَنْ يُوتَرَ

Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 371
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered the making of a bell, it was made so that it could be rung to gather the people for prayer. Then, he narrated the complete hadith like the narration of Salman bin Fazl.

سیدناعبد اللہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ جب رسول للہ صلے اللہ علیہ و سلم نے ناقوس بنانے کا حُکم دیا تو وہ بنادیا گیا تاکہ لوگوں کو نماز کے لئے جمع کرنے کے لئے بجایا جائے، پھر سلمہ بن فضل کی حدیث کی طرح مکمل حدیث بیان کی۔
Sayyidina Abdullah bin Zaid Radi Allahu Anhu bayan karte hain ki jab Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne naaqoos banane ka hukum diya to wo bana diya gaya taki logon ko namaz ke liye jama karne ke liye bajaya jaye, phir Salma bin Fasal ki hadees ki tarah mukammal hadees bayan ki.
نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، نا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ التَّيْمِيُّ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، قَالَ: " لَمَّا أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالنَّاقُوسِ، فَعُمِلَ لَيُضْرَبَ بِهِ لِلنَّاسِ فِي الْجَمْعِ لِلصَّلاةِ" ، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ بِطُولِهِ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ.
