Anas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) reported that Umm Sulaim (رضي الله تعالى عنها) gave birth to a child. She said to him, Anas (رضي الله تعالى عنه), see that nothing is given to this child until he is brought to Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) in the morning, so that he should chew some dates and touch his palate with it. I went to him in the morning, and he was in the garden at that time having the mantle of Jauniyya over him and he was busy in cauterizing (the camels) which had been brought to him (as spoils of war) in victory (over the enemy).
حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں، جب ام سلیم رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ نے بچہ جنا، مجھے کہا، اے انس! اس بچے کا دھیان رکھ، یہ کوئی چیز نہ کھا لے حتی کہ تو اسے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس لے جائے، آپ اس کو گھٹی دیں تو میں اس کو لے گیا تو آپ ایک باغ میں تھے اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پر حویتی چادر تھی اور آپ ان سواریوں کو داغ لگا رہے تھے، جو فتح میں آپ کے پاس تھیں۔
Hazrat Anas (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) bayan karte hain, jab Umme Sulaim (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anha) ne bachcha jana, mujhe kaha, aye Anas! Iss bachche ka dhyan rakh, yeh koi cheez na kha le hatta ke tu usay Nabi Akram (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ke paas le jaye, aap us ko ghatti dein to main us ko le gaya to aap ek bagh mein the aur Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) par Hawti chadar thi aur aap un sawariyon ko dagh laga rahe the, jo fath mein aap ke paas theen.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ لَمَّا وَلَدَتْ أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ قَالَتْ لِي يَا أَنَسُ انْظُرْ هَذَا الْغُلاَمَ فَلاَ يُصِيبَنَّ شَيْئًا حَتَّى تَغْدُوَ بِهِ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُحَنِّكُهُ . قَالَ فَغَدَوْتُ فَإِذَا هُوَ فِي الْحَائِطِ وَعَلَيْهِ خَمِيصَةٌ جَوْنِيَّةٌ وَهُوَ يَسِمُ الظَّهْرَ الَّذِي قَدِمَ عَلَيْهِ فِي الْفَتْحِ .
