باب الأَمْرِ بِلُزُومِ الْجَمَاعَةِ عِنْدَ ظُهُورِ الْفِتَنِ وَتَحْذِيرِ الدُّعَاةِ إِلَى الْكُفْرِ
Sahih Muslim 1851a
It has been reported on the authority of Nafi, that Abdullah bin Umar (رضئ للا تعالی عنہ) paid a visit to Abdullah bin Muti in the days (when atrocities were perpetrated on the People Of Medina) at Harra in the time of Yazid bin Mu'awiya. Ibn Muti (رضئ للا تعالی عنہ) said, place a pillow for Abu Abdur Rahman, family name of Abdullah b 'Umar (رضئ للا تعالی عنہ). But the latter said, I have not come to sit with you. I have come to you to tell you a tradition I heard from the Apostle of Allah (صلى للا عليه و آله وسلم). I heard him say, one who withdraws his band from obedience (to the Amir) will find no argument (in his defense) when he stands before Allah on the Day of Judgment, and one who dies without having bound himself by an oath of allegiance (to an Amir) will die the death of one belonging to the days of Jahillyya.
نافع بیان کرتے ہیں کہ حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالی عنہما، یزید بن معاویہ کے دور میں، جب حرہ کا واقعہ پیش آیا، جیسے بھی ہوا، عبداللہ بن مطیع کے پاس آئے، تو اس نے کہا، ابو عبدالرحمٰن کے لیے تکیہ رکھو، تو ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالی عنہما نے کہا، میں تیرے پاس بیٹھنے کے لیے نہیں آیا، میں تو تمہیں وہ حدیث سنانے آیا ہوں، جو میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنی ہے، میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو یہ فرماتے سنا: ”جس نے اطاعت سے ہاتھ نکالا، وہ قیامت کے دن اللہ کو اس حال میں ملے گا، کہ اس کے پاس (عذر کے لیے) کوئی دلیل نہیں ہو گی اور جو اس حال میں مرے گا کہ اس کی گردن میں کسی کی بیعت نہیں ہو گی، وہ جاہلیت کی موت مرے گا۔“
Nafi bayan karte hain ke Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (Razi Allahu Anhum), Yazid bin Muawiyah ke daur mein, jab Harrah ka waqia pesh aaya, jaise bhi hua, Abdullah bin Muti ke paas aaye, to usne kaha, Abu Abdul Rahman ke liye takiya rakho, to Ibn Umar (Razi Allahu Anhum) ne kaha, main tere paas baithne ke liye nahi aaya, main to tumhe woh hadith sunane aaya hoon, jo maine Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko farmate hue suni hai, maine Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko yeh farmate suna: "Jisne itaat se hath nikala, woh Qayamat ke din Allah ko is haal mein milega, ke uske paas (uzr ke liye) koi daleel nahi ho gi aur jo is haal mein marega ke uski gardan mein kisi ki baiyat nahi ho gi, woh Jahiliyat ki maut marega."
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ - عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، قَالَ جَاءَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ إِلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُطِيعٍ حِينَ كَانَ مِنْ أَمْرِ الْحَرَّةِ مَا كَانَ زَمَنَ يَزِيدَ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ فَقَالَ اطْرَحُوا لأَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وِسَادَةً فَقَالَ إِنِّي لَمْ آتِكَ لأَجْلِسَ أَتَيْتُكَ لأُحَدِّثَكَ حَدِيثًا سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُهُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " مَنْ خَلَعَ يَدًا مِنْ طَاعَةٍ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ لاَ حُجَّةَ لَهُ وَمَنْ مَاتَ وَلَيْسَ فِي عُنُقِهِ بَيْعَةٌ مَاتَ مِيتَةً جَاهِلِيَّةً " .
