بیان معرفة الصحابة الكرام رضوان الله علیهم

The virtues of Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr bin Haram bin Tha'labah bin Haram bin Ka'b bin Ghannam bin Ka'b bin Salma. Their title is Abu Jaber and this Jabir bin Abdullah al-Sulmi al-Ansari's father, in which the people who had taken the pledge of allegiance

عبد الله بن عمرو بن حرام بن ثعلبة بن حرام بن كعب بن غنم بن كعب بن سلمة، رضي الله عنه، أفضله. كانت له كنية أبو جابر، وهو أبو جابر بن عبد الله السلمي الأنصاري، شملوا في بيعة العقبة وشاركوا في غزوة أحد.

Mustadrak Al Hakim 4910

Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: By Allah! My father drank wine on the morning of the Battle of Uhud (at that time the prohibition of alcohol had not yet been revealed). Then he had breakfast, then participated in the battle, and was martyred in the field of Uhud while fighting in support of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). ** This hadith is sahih (authentic) according to the criteria of Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him), but Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) did not narrate it.

" حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں : خدا کی قسم ! میرے والد نے غزوہ احد کے دن صبح کے وقت شراب پی ( اس وقت تک ابھی شراب کی حرمت کا حکم نازل نہیں ہوا تھا ) پھر ناشتہ کیا ، پھر جنگ میں شریک ہوئے ، حتی کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کی حمایت میں لڑتے لڑتے میدان احد میں شہید ہو گئے ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے اس کو نقل نہیں کیا ۔"

Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah Radi Allaho Anho farmate hain : Khuda ki qasam ! mere walid ne Ghazwa Uhud ke din subah ke waqt sharab pi ( us waqt tak abhi sharab ki hurmat ka hukum nazil nahi hua tha ) phir nashta kia , phir jang mein sharik hue , hata ke Rasool Allah ﷺ ki himayat mein larte larte maidan Uhud mein shaheed ho gaye . ** yeh hadees Imam Muslim Rehmatullah Alaih ke miyar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin Imam Bukhari Rehmatullah Alaih aur Imam Muslim Rehmatullah Alaih ne is ko naqal nahi kia .

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ، ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنِي وَهْبُ بْنُ كَيْسَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: «اصْطَبَحَ وَاللَّهِ أَبِي يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ الْخَمْرَ، ثُمَّ غَدَا فَقَاتَلَ حَتَّى قُتِلَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِأُحُدٍ شَهِيدًا» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ، وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ "" [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 4910 - على شرط مسلم

Mustadrak Al Hakim 4911

The Mother of the Believers, Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), "O Jabir! Shall I not give you good news?" He replied, "Why not, O Messenger of Allah? Please give me the good news, may Allah give you even better news than this." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "It has been revealed to me that Allah Almighty resurrected your father and seated him before Him. He said, 'O My servant, ask whatever you wish from Me today, and I will grant it to you.' He submitted, 'O my Lord! I could not fulfill the right of Your worship. My only wish is that You send me back to the world, and I fight alongside Your Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and attain martyrdom.' Allah Almighty said, 'My decision has been made (that I will not send anyone back to the world), so I will not send you back either.'" **Commentary:** This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) did not include it in their collections.

" ام المومنین حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا فرماتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے فرمایا : اے جابر ! میں تمہیں ایک خوشخبری نہ دوں ؟ انہوں نے جواباً کہا : کیوں نہیں یا رسول اللہ ﷺ آپ مجھے خوشخبری دیجئے اللہ تعالیٰ آپ کو اس سے بھی اچھی خوشخبری عطا فرمائے ۔ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا : مجھے یہ بات القاء کی گئی ہے کہ تیرے والد کو اللہ تعالیٰ نے زندہ کر کے اپنے سامنے بٹھایا اور فرمایا : اے میرے بندے آج تو مجھ سے جو بھی خواہش کرے گا میں وہ تجھے عطا کروں گا ۔ انہوں نے عرض کی : اے میرے پروردگار ! میں تیری عبادت کا حق ادا نہیں کر سکا ، میری یہی تمنا ہے کہ تو مجھے واپس دنیا میں بھیج دے اور میں تیرے نبی ﷺ کے ہمراہ جہاد کروں اور پھر شہید ہو جاؤں ۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا : میرا یہ فیصلہ ہو چکا ہے کہ ( کسی کو دنیا میں واپس نہیں بھیجوں گا ) اس لئے تجھے بھی واپس نہیں بھیجوں گا ۔ ٭٭ تبصرہ : یہ حدیث صحیح الاسناد ہے لیکن امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے اس کو نقل نہیں کیا ۔"

Umm ul Momineen Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha farmati hain ke Rasool Allah SAW ne Hazrat Jaber Radi Allaho Anho se farmaya: Aye Jaber! main tumhen ek khushkhabri na doon? Unhon ne jawaban kaha: kyun nahi ya Rasool Allah SAW aap mujhe khushkhabri dijiye Allah Ta'ala aap ko is se bhi achhi khushkhabri ata farmaye. Aap SAW ne farmaya: mujhe yeh baat ilqa ki gayi hai ke tumhare walid ko Allah Ta'ala ne zinda kar ke apne samne bithaya aur farmaya: Aye mere bande aaj tu mujh se jo bhi khwahish karega main woh tujhe ata karoonga. Unhon ne arz ki: Aye mere Parwardigaar! main teri ibadat ka haq ada nahi kar saka, meri yehi tamanna hai ke tu mujhe wapas duniya mein bhej de aur main tere Nabi SAW ke hamrah jihad karoon aur phir shaheed ho jaon. Allah Ta'ala ne farmaya: mera yeh faisla ho chuka hai ke (kisi ko duniya mein wapas nahi bhejoonga) is liye tujhe bhi wapas nahi bhejoonga. ** Tabsarah: Yeh hadees sahih ul isnad hai lekin Imam Bukhari Rahmatullah Alaih aur Imam Muslim Rahmatullah Alaih ne is ko naqal nahi kiya.

حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بَالَوَيْهِ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْخَزَّازُ، ثنا فَيْضُ بْنُ وَثِيقٍ، ثنا أَبُو عُمَارَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِجَابِرٍ: «يَا جَابِرُ، أَلَا أُبَشِّرُكَ؟» قَالَ: بَلَى، بَشِّرْنِي بَشَّرَكَ اللَّهُ بِالْخَيْرِ، قَالَ: "" أَشَعَرْتَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَحْيَا أَبَاكَ فَأَقْعَدَهُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، فَقَالَ: تَمَنَّ عَلَيَّ عَبْدِي مَا شِئْتَ أُعْطِيكَهُ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَبِّ، مَا عَبَدْتُكَ حَقَّ عِبَادَتِكَ، أَتَمَنَّى أَنْ تَرُدَّنِي إِلَى الدُّنْيَا، فَأُقْتَلَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى، فَقَالَ: سَبَقَ مِنِّي إِنَّكَ إِلَيْهَا لَا تَرْجِعُ «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ، وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 4911 - فيض بن وثيق كذاب

Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that his father said to him, "My son, it is possible that tomorrow I will be the first to attain martyrdom (this is about the Battle of Uhud), so I advise you to treat the daughters of Abdullah well (that you treat them well, take care of them)." The next day the battle took place and on that very day, you drank from the cup of martyrdom. ** This hadith is Sahih (authentic) according to the criteria of Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on them), but the two Sheikhs (may Allah have mercy on them) did not narrate it.

" حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں : میرے والد نے مجھ سے کہا : میرے بیٹے ! ہو سکتا ہے کہ کل سب سے پہلے میری شہادت واقع ہو جائے ( یہ غزوہ احد کی بات ہے ) اس لئے میں تجھے عبداللہ کی بیٹیوں کے بارے میں بھلائی کی وصیت کرتا ہوں ( کہ ان کے ساتھ بہت اچھا سلوک کرنا ، ان کا خیال کرنا ) اگلے دن جنگ ہوئی تو اسی دن آپ جام شہادت نوش کر گئے ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن شیخین رحمۃ اللہ علیہما نے اس کو نقل نہیں کیا ۔"

Hazrat Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) farmate hain : Mere walid ne mujh se kaha : Mere bete ! ho sakta hai ki kal sab se pehle meri shahadat waqe ho jaye ( ye ghazwa uhud ki baat hai ) is liye main tujhe Abdullah ki betiyon ke bare mein bhalai ki wasiyat karta hun ( ki un ke sath bahut acha sulook karna, un ka khayal karna ) agle din jang hui to usi din aap jaam shahadat nosh kar gaye . ** ye hadees Imam Bukhari Rahmatullah Alaih Imam Muslim Rahmatullah Alaih ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin Sheikhain Rahmatullah Alaihima ne is ko naqal nahin kiya .

أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرَوَيْهِ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ، ثنا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْأَشْيَبُ، ثنا أَبُو هِلَالٍ، ثنا سَعِيدٌ يُكَنَّى أَبَا مسْلَمَة، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: قَالَ لِي أَبِي: «يَا بُنَيَّ، لَا أَدْرِي لِعَلِّي أَنْ أَكُونَ فِي أَوَّلِ مِنْ يُصَابُ غَدًا، وَذَلِكَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ، فَأُوصِيكَ بِبُنَيَّاتِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ خَيْرًا» ، فَالْتَقَوْا فَأُصِيبَ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمَ «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ، وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 4912 - على شرط البخاري ومسلم

Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: When the time of the battle drew near, my father called me to him at night and said: "I see that I will be the first amongst the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) to be martyred, and by Allah! After the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), no one is dearer to me than you. I am in debt (heavily). So, you should repay it and take good care of your sisters." Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The next day, my father was indeed the first to be martyred. I buried him in a grave with another martyr. Then, I was not satisfied that I had buried him with another man in one grave. So, after six months, I exhumed his grave, and his body was as fresh as it was at the time of burial, except for his ear." **This hadith is sahih (authentic) according to the criteria of Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him), but the two Sheikhs (Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim) (may Allah have mercy on them) did not narrate it.**

" حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے ہیں : جب غزوہ کا وقت بالکل قریب آ گیا تو رات کے وقت میرے والد نے مجھے اپنے پاس بلایا اور کہنے لگے : میں دیکھ رہا ہوں کہ اصحاب رسول ﷺ میں سب سے پہلے میں شہید ہوں گا ، اور خدا کی قسم ! رسول اللہ ﷺ کے بعد میری نگاہ میں تم سے زیادہ عزیز کوئی نہیں ہے ، میرے ذمہ ( بہت سارا قرضہ ) ہے ، تم یہ ادا کر دینا اور اپنی بہنوں کا بہت خیال رکھنا ۔ آپ فرماتے ہیں : اگلے دن واقعی میرے والد صاحب ہی سب سے پہلے شہید ہوئے ، میں نے ان کو ایک اور شہید کے ہمراہ ایک قبر میں دفن کر دیا ، پھر اس کے بعد مجھے اس بات پر تسلی نہ ہوئی کہ میں نے ان کو ایک اور آدمی کے ہمراہ ایک قبر میں دفن کیا ہے ، چنانچہ چھ ماہ کے بعد میں نے ان کی قبر کشائی کی ، تو اس وقت بھی ان کا جسم اسی طرح تروتازہ تھا جیسا کہ تدفین کے وقت تھا سوائے ان کے کان کے ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن شیخین رحمۃ اللہ علیہما نے اس کو نقل نہیں کیا ۔"

Hazrat Jaber bin Abdullah ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a farmate hain : Jab Gazwa ka waqt bilkul qareeb aa gaya to raat ke waqt mere walid ne mujhe apne pass bulaya aur kahne lage : Main dekh raha hun ke Ashab Rasul (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mein sab se pehle main shaheed hun ga, aur Khuda ki qasam! Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke bad meri nazar mein tum se ziada azeez koi nahi hai, mere zimma (bohat sara qarza) hai, tum yeh ada kar dena aur apni baheno ka boht khayal rakhna. Aap farmate hain : Agale din waqai mere walid sahib hi sab se pehle shaheed hue, maine un ko ek aur shaheed ke hamrah ek qabar mein dafan kar diya, phir us ke bad mujhe is baat per tasalli na hui ke maine un ko ek aur aadmi ke hamrah ek qabar mein dafan kya hai, chunancha chhe mah ke bad maine un ki qabar kushai ki, to us waqt bhi un ka jism usi tarah tarotaza tha jaisa ke tadfeen ke waqt tha siwaye un ke kaan ke. ** Yeh hadees Imam Muslim rehmatullah alaih ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin Shaikhain rehmatullah alaihima ne is ko naqal nahi kya.

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا أَبُو الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ، ثنا أَبُو مَسْلَمَةَ، ثنا أَبُو نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: "" لَمَّا حَضَرَ قِتَالُ أُحُدٍ دَعَانِي أَبِي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ، فَقَالَ: إِنِّي لَا أُرَانِي إِلَّا مَقْتُولًا فِي أَوَّلِ مَنْ يُقْتَلُ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَإِنِّي وَاللَّهِ مَا أَدَعُ أَحَدًا يَعْنِي أَعَزَّ عَلَيَّ مِنْكَ بَعْدَ نَفْسِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَإِنَّ عَلَيَّ دَيْنًا، فَاقْضِ عَنِّي دَيْنِي وَاسْتَوْصِ بِأَخَوَاتِكَ خَيْرًا، قَالَ: فَأَصْبَحْنَا فَكَانَ أَوَّلُ قَتِيلٍ فَدَفَنْتُهُ مَعَ آخَرَ فِي قَبْرٍ، ثُمَّ لَمْ تَطِبْ نَفْسِي أَنْ أَتْرُكَهُ مَعَ آخَرَ فِي قَبْرٍ فَاسْتَخْرَجْتُهُ بَعْدَ سِتَّةِ أَشْهُرٍ، فَإِذَا هُوَ كَيَوْمِ وَضَعْتُهُ غَيْرَ أُذُنِهِ «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ» [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 4913 - سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

Mustadrak Al Hakim 4914

Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to me: “Verily, Allah Almighty does not speak to anyone except from behind a veil, and He spoke to your father without a veil, saying: ‘O Abdullah! Ask Me for whatever you wish.’ Then he mentioned the rest of the hadith. **Commentary:** This hadith is authentic in its chain of narration, but Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) did not narrate it.

" حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ مجھے رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا : بے شک اللہ تعالیٰ کسی سے کلام نہیں فرماتا مگر پردے کے پیچھے سے ، اور اس نے تیرے والد کے ساتھ بلا حجاب کلام کرتے ہوئے فرمایا : ( اے عبداللہ ! ) تم مجھ سے جو چاہو تمنا کرو ۔ پھر اس کے بعد پوری حدیث بیان کی ۔ ٭٭ تبصرہ : یہ حدیث صحیح الاسناد ہے لیکن امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے اس کو نقل نہیں کیا ۔"

Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah razi Allah anhu farmate hain keh mujhe Rasul Allah SAW ne farmaya: Be shak Allah taala kisi se kalam nahin farmata magar parde ke peeche se, aur usne tere wald ke sath bila hijab kalam karte huye farmaya: (Aye Abdullah!) tum mujh se jo chaho tamanna karo. Phir uske baad poori hadees bayan ki. ** Tabsira: Ye hadees sahih al-isnad hai lekin Imam Bukhari rehmatullah alaih aur Imam Muslim rehmatullah alaih ne isko naqal nahin kiya.

بَيَانُهُ مَا أَخْبَرَنِيهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْإِمَامُ، أَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَبِيبٍ الْحَارِثِيُّ، وَعَبْدَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْخُزَاعِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ طَلْحَةَ بْنَ خِرَاشٍ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا، قَالَ: قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "" إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى لَا يُكَلِّمُ أَحَدًا إِلَّا مِنْ وَرَاءِ حِجَابٍ، وَأَنَّهُ كَلَّمَ أَبَاكَ كِفَاحًا، فَقَالَ: تَمَنَّ عَلَيَّ «وَذَكَرْتُ الْحَدِيثَ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ، وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ "" [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 4914 - سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

Mustadrak Al Hakim 4915

Abdullah bin Amr bin Haram (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: Before the Battle of Uhud, I saw in a dream that Musab bin Umair (may Allah be pleased with him) was saying to me, “Join us in a few days.” I asked him, “Where are you?” He said, “I am in Paradise, roaming wherever I want.” I said to him, “Weren't you martyred at Badr?” He said, “Yes, why not? But then I was brought back to life.” I narrated this dream to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “O Jabir! This is what martyrdom is.”

حضرت عبداللہ بن عمرو بن حرام رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں : جنگ احد سے پہلے میں نے خواب میں دیکھا کہ مبشر بن عبدالمنذر مجھے کہہ رہا ہے ’’ چند ایام میں ہمارے پاس آ جاؤ گے ‘‘ میں نے اس سے پوچھا : تم کہاں ہو ؟ اس نے کہا : میں جنت میں ہوں ، جہاں چاہتا ہوں سیر کرتا ہوں ۔ میں نے ان سے کہا : کیا تم بدر میں شہید نہیں ہوئے تھے ؟ انہوں نے کہا : ہاں کیوں نہیں ۔ لیکن پھر مجھے زندہ کر دیا گیا ۔ میں نے یہ خواب رسول اللہ ﷺ کی بارگاہ میں سنایا تو آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا : اے جابر ! شہادت یہی ہوتی ہے ۔

Hazrat Abdullah bin Amro bin Haram (رضي الله تعالى عنه) farmate hain: Jang Uhud se pehle maine khwab mein dekha ke Mubashir bin Abdul Munzir mujhe keh raha hai ''Chand ayyam mein humare paas aa jaoge'' Maine us se pucha: Tum kahan ho? Usne kaha: Main Jannat mein hun, jahan chahta hun sair karta hun. Maine unse kaha: kya tum Badr mein shaheed nahi hue the? Unhon ne kaha: Haan kyun nahi. Lekin phir mujhe zinda kar diya gaya. Maine ye khwab Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki bargah mein sunaya to aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Aye Jabir! Shahadat yahi hoti hai.

وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ جَهْمٍ، ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ شُيُوخِهِ، قَالُوا: وَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَرَامٍ: رَأَيْتُ فِي النَّوْمِ قَبْلَ أُحُدٍ كَأَنِّي رَأَيْتُ مُبَشِّرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُنْذِرِ، يَقُولُ لِي: أَنْتَ قَادِمٌ عَلَيْنَا فِي الْأَيَّامِ، فَقُلْتُ: وَأَيْنَ أَنْتَ؟ قَالَ: فِي الْجَنَّةِ نَسْرَحُ فِيهَا كَيْفَ نَشَاءُ، قُلْتُ لَهُ: أَلَمْ تُقْتَلْ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ؟ قَالَ: بَلَى، ثُمَّ أُحْيِيتُ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «هَذِهِ الشَّهَادَةُ يَا أَبَا جَابِرٍ»
