Mustadrak Al Hakim 4174
Khalid bin Ma'dan narrates, regarding the Sahaba (may Allah be pleased with them all), that they said: "O Messenger of Allah, tell us about yourself." He said: "(I am) the prayer of my father (meaning ancestor) Ibrahim (peace be upon him). I am the good news of Isa (Jesus, peace be upon him), and when my mother conceived me, a light appeared for her that illuminated the lands of Syria." Imam Hakim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "Khalid bin Ma'dan is among the senior Tabi'een (those who came after the companions of the Prophet). You have attained the company of Muadh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) and the Sahaba who came after him. Since you have attributed this hadith to the Sahaba (may Allah be pleased with them all), it is Sahih-ul-Isnad (authentic in its chain of narrators). However, the two Sheikhs (Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim) (may Allah have mercy on them both) have not narrated it.
" حضرت خالد بن معدان ، صحابہ کرام رضوان اللہ علیہم اجمعین کے حوالے سے بیان کرتے ہیں کہ انہوں نے عرض کی : یا رسول اللہ ﷺ ! ہمیں خود اپنے متعلق بتائیے ۔ آپ نے فرمایا : ( میں ) اپنے باپ ( یعنی دادا ) حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام کی دعا ہوں ۔ حضرت عیسیٰ علیہ السلام کی بشارت ہوں اور جب میری والدہ کو وہ حمل ہوا ، جس میں ، میں تھا تو ان کے لئے بصری روشن ہو گیا اور بصری سرزمین شام پر ہے ۔ ٭٭ امام حاکم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کہتے ہیں : خالد بن معدان ، کبار تابعین میں سے ہیں ، آپ کو حضرت معاذ بن جبل رضی اللہ عنہ اور ان کے بعد والے صحابہ کرام رضوان اللہ علیہم اجمعین کی صحبت حاصل ہے کیونکہ آپ نے یہ حدیث صحابہ کرام رضوان اللہ علیہم اجمعین کی طرف منسوب کی ہے اس لئے یہ صحیح الاسناد ہے لیکن شیخین رحمۃ اللہ علیہما نے اس کو نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Hazrat Khalid bin Ma'dan, Sahaba Kiram Rizwanullah Alayhim Ajma'een ke hawale se bayan karte hain ke unhon ne arz ki: Ya Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam! Hamein khud apne mutalliq bataiye. Aap ne farmaya: (Mein) apne baap (yani dada) Hazrat Ibrahim Alayhis Salam ki dua hun. Hazrat Isa Alayhis Salam ki basharat hun aur jab meri walida ko woh hamal hua, jis mein, mein tha to unke liye basri roshan ho gaya aur basri sarzameen shaam par hai. ** Imam Hakim Rahmatullah Alayh kehte hain: Khalid bin Ma'dan, kibar tabi'een mein se hain, aap ko Hazrat Mu'adh bin Jabal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) aur unke baad wale Sahaba Kiram Rizwanullah Alayhim Ajma'een ki sohbat hasil hai kyunki aap ne yeh hadees Sahaba Kiram Rizwanullah Alayhim Ajma'een ki taraf mansoob ki hai is liye yeh Sahih al-Isnad hai lekin Shaykhayn Rahmatullah Alayhima ne isko naqal nahin kiya.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ، ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي ثَوْرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَخْبِرْنَا عَنْ نَفْسِكَ، فَقَالَ: «دَعْوَةُ أَبِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَبُشْرَى عِيسَى، وَرَأَتْ أُمِّي حِينَ حَمَلَتْ بِي أَنَّهُ خَرَجَ مِنْهَا نُورٌ أَضَاءَتْ لَهُ بُصْرَى وَبُصْرَى مِنْ أَرْضِ الشَّامِ» قَالَ الْحَاكِمُ: «خَالِدُ بْنُ مَعْدَانَ مِنْ خِيَارِ التَّابِعِينَ، صَحِبَ مُعَاذَ بْنَ جَبَلٍ فَمَنْ بَعْدَهُ مِنَ الصَّحَابَةِ فَإِذَا أَسْنَدَ حَدِيثًا إِلَى الصَّحَابَةِ فَإِنَّهُ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 4174 - صحيح
