Sunan an-Nasa'i 5535
Asim bin Humaid narrated that he asked Ummul Momineen Aisha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) with what the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) would start Qiyam Al-Lail. She said, 'you have asked me about something that no one else has asked me about. He used to say Allahu Akbar ten times, and Subhan-Allah ten times, and Astaghfirullah ten times, and he would say - ْ لِّي وَاهْدِّنِّياللَّهُمَّ اغْفِّرْ زُقْنِّي وَعَافِّنِّيوَار [O Allah, forgive me, guide me, grant me provision and give me good health], and he would seek refuge from the difficulty of the standing on the Day of Resurrection.’

عاصم بن حمید کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے پوچھا کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ رات میں تہجد کس دعا سے شروع کرتے تھے؟ وہ بولیں: تم نے مجھ سے ایسی بات پوچھی ہے جو کسی نے نہیں پوچھی، آپ ﷺ دس بار «اللہ اکبر» کہتے، دس بار «سبحان اللہ» کہتے، دس بار «استغفراللہ» کہتے، اور کہتے: «اللہم اغفر لي واهدني وارزقني وعافني» ”اے اللہ! میری مغفرت فرما، مجھے ہدایت دے، مجھے روزی عطا کر، مجھے محفوظ رکھ“، اور آپ قیامت کے روز کھڑے ہونے کی پریشانی ( سوال کے لیے ) سے اللہ کی پناہ مانگتے۔
Asim bin Hamid kehte hain ke main ne ummul momineen Aisha radhiallahu anha se poocha ke Rasoolallah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) raat mein tahajud kis dua se shuru karte the? Woh bolein: Tum ne mujh se aisi baat poochi hai jo kisi ne nahi poochi, aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) das bar «Allahu Akbar» kehte, das bar «Subhanallah» kehte, das bar «astaghfirullah» kehte, aur kehte: «Allahummaghfir li wahadni warzuqni wa'afni» "Ai Allah! Meri maghfirat farma, mujhe hidayat de, mujhe rozi ata kar, mujhe mahkfooz rakh", aur aap qayamat ke roz khade hone ki pareshani ( sawal ke liye ) se Allah ki panaah maangte.
أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، أَنَّ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنَ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَهُ وَحَدَّثَنِي أَزْهَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، - يُقَالُ لَهُ الْحَرَازِيُّ شَامِيٌّ عَزِيزُ الْحَدِيثِ - عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ بِمَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَفْتَتِحُ قِيَامَ اللَّيْلِ قَالَتْ سَأَلْتَنِي عَنْ شَىْءٍ مَا سَأَلَنِي عَنْهُ أَحَدٌ كَانَ يُكَبِّرُ عَشْرًا وَيُسَبِّحُ عَشْرًا وَيَسْتَغْفِرُ عَشْرًا وَيَقُولُ " اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَاهْدِنِي وَارْزُقْنِي وَعَافِنِي " . وَيَتَعَوَّذُ مِنْ ضِيقِ الْمَقَامِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ .
