Hazrat Ibrahim (R.A) said that there is no time limit in Zihar. However, if someone said to his wife that if I come near you then the time of Zihar will start, and if he said this and stayed away from her for four months then the woman would be considered divorced because of Ila.
حضرت ابراہیم (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ ظہار میں کوئی وقت نہیں ہوتا لیکن اگر کسی نے اپنی بیوی سے کہا کہ اگر میں تیرے قریب آیا، تو پھر ظہار میں وقت داخل ہوسکتا ہے، اگر اس نے یہ کہا اور چار مہینے تک اسے چھوڑے رکھا تو عورت ایلاء کی وجہ سے بائنہ ہوجائے گی۔
Hazrat Ibrahim (RA) farmate hain keh zahaar mein koi waqt nahi hota lekin agar kisi ne apni biwi se kaha keh agar mein tere qareeb aaya, tou phir zahaar mein waqt dakhil hosakta hai, agar us ne ye kaha aur chaar mahine tak use chhore rakha tou aurat ilaa ki wajah se baina hojae gi.
Hazrat Shabi (R.A) said that if a man said to his wife that if I came near you then you are for me like the back of my mother, then if he came near her, it would be considered Zhar and if he left her for four months, then the woman would be divorced due to Ila.
حضرت شعبی (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ اگر ایک آدمی نے اپنی بیوی سے کہا کہ اگر میں تیرے قریب آیا تو تو میرے لیے میری ماں کی پشت کی طرح ہے، اور اگر وہ اس کے قریب آیا تو ظہار ہوجائے گا اور اگر چار مہینے تک چھوڑے رکھا تو عورت ایلاء کی وجہ سے بائنہ ہوجائے گی۔
Hazrat Shubi (RA) farmate hain keh agar aik aadmi ne apni biwi se kaha keh agar mein tere qareeb aaya tou tou mere liye meri maa ki pusht ki tarah hai, aur agar woh uske qareeb aaya tou zahar hojaey ga aur agar chaar mahine tak chhore rakha tou aurat ilaa ki wajah se baina hojaey gi.

حضرت عطائ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ اگر ایک شخص نے اپنی بیوی سے کہا اگر میں تیرے قریب آیا تو تو میرے لیے میری ماں کی پشت کی طرح ہے اور اسے چار مہینے تک چھوڑے رکھا تو یہ کوئی چیز نہیں۔

Hazrat Hassan (R.A.) and Hazrat Ibrahim (R.A.) say that if a person said to his wife that if I come to you, then you are for me like the back of my mother and if he comes to her within four months then it is apparent and if he does not come then it is Ila and the woman will be separated by one divorce.
حضرت حسن (رض) اور حضرت ابراہیم (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ اگر ایک شخص نے اپنی بیوی سے کہا کہ اگر میں تیرے پاس آیا تو تو میرے لیے میری ماں کی پشت کی طرح ہے اور اگر وہ چار مہینے میں اس کے پاس آیا تو وہ ظہار ہے اور اگر نہ آیا تو ایلاء ہے اور عورت ایک طلاق سے بائنہ ہوجائے گی۔
Hazrat Hassan (rz) aur Hazrat Ibrahim (rz) farmate hain ki agar aik shakhs ne apni biwi se kaha ki agar main tere pass aya to tu mere liye meri maa ki pusht ki tarah hai aur agar woh char mahine mein uske pass aya to woh zihar hai aur agar nah aya to ila hai aur aurat aik talaq se baina ho jaye gi.
Hazrat Sha'bah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I asked Hazrat Hukam (may Allah be pleased with him) and Hazrat Hammad (may Allah be pleased with him) that if a man says to his wife that if I come near you for one year then you are like the back of my mother to me, then what is the ruling? They said that when four months have passed, one irrevocable divorce will take place.
حضرت شعبہ (رض) کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضرت حکم (رض) اور حضرت حماد (رض) سے سوال کیا کہ اگر کوئی شخص اپنی بیوی سے کہے کہ اگر میں ایک سال تک تیرے قریب آیا تو تو میرے لیے میری ماں کی پشت کی طرح ہے تو کیا حکم ہے ؟ انھوں نے فرمایا کہ جب چار مہینے گذر جائیں تو ایک طلاق بائنہ ہوجائے گی۔
Hazrat Shubah (rz) kahte hain ki maine Hazrat Hukm (rz) aur Hazrat Hammad (rz) se sawal kiya ki agar koi shakhs apni biwi se kahe ki agar main ek saal tak tere qareeb aaya to tu mere liye meri maan ki pusht ki tarah hai to kya hukm hai? Unhon ne farmaya ki jab chaar mahine guzar jayen to ek talaq baina ho jayegi.
