Hazrat Huzaifa narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Do not say that Allah willed and so-and-so willed, but say: Allah willed and then so-and-so willed.
حضرت حذیفہ فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : تم یوں مت کہا کرو کہ جو اللہ نے چاہا اور فلاں نے چاہا، لیکن یوں کہا کرو : جو اللہ نے چاہا اور پھر فلاں نے چاہا۔
Hazrat Huzaifa farmate hain ke Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: Tum yun mat kaha karo ke jo Allah ne chaha aur falan ne chaha, lekin yun kaha karo: jo Allah ne chaha aur phir falan ne chaha.
Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) heard a person saying: What Allah willed and so-and-so willed. Then you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Have you made me equal to Allah! So say: Whatever Allah willed.
حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ایک شخص کو یوں کہتے ہوئے سنا : جو اللہ نے چاہا اور فلاں نے چاہا، پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : تو نے مجھے اللہ کے برابر بنادیا ! تو یوں کہہ : جو کچھ اللہ نے چاہا۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas farmate hain keh Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne ek shakhs ko yun kehte huye suna: Jo Allah ne chaha aur falan ne chaha, phir Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: Tu ne mujhe Allah ke barabar banadiya! Tu yun keh: Jo kuch Allah ne chaha.
Hazrat Adi bin Hatim states that a person addressed the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) so he began to say: Whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger, verily, he has found guidance, and whoever disobeys them both, verily, he has gone astray. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: What a bad orator! Say: Whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger.
حضرت عدی بن حاتم فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص نے نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس خطاب کیا پس وہ کہنے لگا : جس شخص نے اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی اطاعت و فرمان برداری کی، تحقیق وہ ہدایت پا گیا، اور جس شخص نے ان دونوں کی نافرمانی کی تحقیق وہ گمراہ ہوگیا۔ تو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : تو بُرا خطیب ہے، یوں کہہ : جس شخص نے اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی نافرمانی کی۔
Hazrat Adi bin Hatim farmate hain ki aik shakhs ne Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke pass khitab kiya pas wo kehne laga: Jis shakhs ne Allah aur us ke Rasool ki ita'at o farmanbardari ki, tahqeeq wo hidayat pa gaya, aur jis shakhs ne in donon ki nafarmani ki tahqeeq wo gumrah hogaya. To Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: To bura khateeb hai, yun kah: Jis shakhs ne Allah aur us ke Rasool ki nafarmani ki.
Hazrat Ibrahim Nakha'i narrates that a person addressed Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: Whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger, he has found guidance, and whoever disobeys them both, he has gone astray. The narrator says: The Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) face changed color and he disliked it. The narrator says: Hazrat Ibrahim Nakha'i said: The Companions disliked that someone would say: 'And whoever disobeys them both...' but he could say: 'And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger...'
حضرت ابراہیم نخعی فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص نے نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس خطاب کیا پس وہ کہنے لگا : جس شخص نے اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی اطاعت کی پس وہ ہدایت پا گیا۔ اور جس شخص نے ان دونوں کی نافرمانی کی پس وہ گمراہ ہوگیا۔ راوی فرماتے ہیں کہ : پس نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے چہرے کا رنگ متغیر ہوگیا اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اس کو ناپسند فرمایا : راوی کہتے ہیں : کہ حضرت ابراہیم نخعی نے ارشاد فرمایا : پس صحابہ ناپسند کرتے تھے کہ کوئی یوں کہے : اور جس شخص نے ان دونوں کی نافرمانی کی۔ لیکن یوں کہہ سکتا ہے : اور جس شخص نے اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی نافرمانی کی۔
Hazrat Ibrahim Nakhaie farmate hain ke aik shakhs ne Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke paas khitab kya pas woh kahne laga: Jis shakhs ne Allah aur uske Rasool ki itaat ki pas woh hidayat pa gaya. Aur jis shakhs ne in donon ki nafarmani ki pas woh gumrah ho gaya. Rawi farmate hain ke: Pas Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke chehre ka rang mughayyar ho gaya aur aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne usko napasand farmaya. Rawi kahte hain: Ke Hazrat Ibrahim Nakhaie ne irshad farmaya: Pas sahaba napasand karte the ke koi yun kahe: Aur jis shakhs ne in donon ki nafarmani ki. Lekin yun kah sakta hai: Aur jis shakhs ne Allah aur uske Rasool ki nafarmani ki.
