It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abu Razin (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say that as long as the interpretation of a dream is not stated, it remains stuck in the claws of a bird. Then, when its interpretation is stated, it comes to pass.
The narrator says that dreams are one part out of forty-six parts of Prophethood.
The narrator says that I think that you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also said that a dream should not be narrated to anyone besides a friend or a wise man.
حضرت ابورزین (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ انھوں نے نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا کہ خواب کی جب تک تعبیر بیان نہ کی جائے، وہ پرندے کے پاؤں میں اٹکا ہوا ہوتا ہے، پھر جب اس کی تعبیر بیان کردی جاتی ہے تو وہ واقع ہوجاتا ہے۔
راوی فرماتے ہیں کہ خواب نبوت کے چھیالیس حصّوں میں سے ایک حصّہ ہے۔
راوی فرماتے ہیں کہ میرا خیال ہے کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے یہ بھی فرمایا کہ خواب کو دوست یا عقلمند آدمی کے علاوہ کسی شخص کے سامنے بیان نہ کرو۔
Hazrat Abuzarain (RA) se riwayat hai ki unhon ne Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko ye farmate hue suna ki khwab ki jab tak tabeer bayan na ki jaye, woh parindey ke paon mein atka hua hota hai, phir jab uski tabeer bayan kardi jati hai to woh waqe hojaata hai.
Ravi farmate hain ki khwab nabuvvat ke chhiyalis hisson mein se ek hissa hai.
Ravi farmate hain ki mera khayal hai ki aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne ye bhi farmaya ki khwab ko dost ya aqalmand aadmi ke alawa kisi shakhs ke samne bayan na karo.
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The dream of a Muslim is one forty-sixth part of Prophethood."
حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کہ مسلمان کا خواب نبوت کا چھیالیسواں حصّہ ہے۔

Hazrat Ata bin Yasar (رض) narrates from a Muhaddith (scholar of Hadith) who used to serve as a Mufti (jurisconsult) in Egypt. That Muhaddith said, "I asked Hazrat Abu Darda (رض) about the interpretation of this verse: { لَہُمُ الْبُشْرَی فِی الْحَیَاۃِ الدُّنْیَا } (For them are glad tidings, in the life of this world). He said, 'Since the time I asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about the interpretation of this verse, no one has asked me about its interpretation until now. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) also told me at that time, 'No one before you has asked me about the interpretation of this verse.' It refers to the good dream that a Muslim sees or is shown, and in the Hereafter, the good news that will be given is Paradise.
حضرت عطاء بن یسار (رض) ایک محدث سے روایت کرتے ہیں جو مصر میں فتویٰ کی خدمت سر انجام دیتے تھے، وہ محدث فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضرت ابو درداء (رض) سے اس آیت کی تفسیر پوچھی : { لَہُمُ الْبُشْرَی فِی الْحَیَاۃِ الدُّنْیَا } فرمانے لگے کہ میں نے جب سے اس آیت کی تفسیر رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے پوچھی ہے اس وقت سے لے کر اب تک کسی نے مجھ سے اس کی تفسیر نہیں پوچھی، رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے بھی مجھ سے اس وقت فرمایا تھا تم سے پہلے کسی نے مجھ سے اس آیت کی تفسیر نہیں پوچھی، اس سے مراد وہ نیک خواب ہے جو مسلمان دیکھتا ہے یا اس کو دکھایا جاتا ہے، اور آخرت میں جس چیز کی خوشخبری ملے گی وہ جنت ہے۔
Hazrat Ata bin Yasar (RA) aik muhadiss se riwayat karte hain jo Misr mein fatwa ki khidmat sar anjam dete thay, woh muhadiss farmate hain ke maine Hazrat Abu Darda (RA) se is ayat ki tafseer poochhi: { lahumul bushra fil hayatid dunya } farmane lage ke maine jab se is ayat ki tafseer Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se poochhi hai us waqt se lekar ab tak kisi ne mujh se is ki tafseer nahi poochhi, Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne bhi mujh se us waqt farmaya tha tum se pehle kisi ne mujh se is ayat ki tafseer nahi poochhi, is se murad woh nek khwab hai jo musalman dekhta hai ya us ko dikhaya jata hai, aur akhirat mein jis cheez ki khushkhabri milegi woh jannat hai.

حضرت عبادہ بن صامت (رض) نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے نقل کرتے ہیں کہ حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کہ مسلمان کا خواب نبوت کا چھیالیسواں حصہ ہے۔

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: It refers to a good dream that a Muslim sees or is shown to him.
حضرت ابو الدردائ (رض) سے روایت ہے ، فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے اس خوشخبری کے بارے میں دریافت کیا جس کا مسلمان کے ساتھ دنیا میں وعدہ کیا گیا ہے، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کہ اس سے مراد وہ نیک خواب ہے جو مسلمان دیکھتا ہے یا اس کو دکھایا جاتا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Darda (RA) se riwayat hai, farmate hain ke maine Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se is khushkhabri ke bare mein دریافت kia jis ka musalman ke sath duniya mein wada kia gaya hai, aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya ke is se murad woh nek khawab hai jo musalman dekhta hai ya us ko dikhaya jata hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "A good dream is one part out of forty-six parts of Prophethood."
حضرت ابن عمر (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : کہ اچھا خواب نبوت کا سترواں حصّہ ہے۔
Hazrat Ibn Umar (RA) se riwayat hai keh Rasool Allah (SAW) ne farmaya : keh achha khwab nabuwat ka satwan hissa hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) lifted the curtain of his blessed chamber, while people were standing in rows behind Hazrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "O people! Nothing is left of the good news of Prophethood except good dreams which a Muslim sees or is shown to him."
حضرت ابن عباس (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اپنے حجرہ مبارک کا پردہ اٹھایا، جبکہ لوگ حضرت ابوبکر (رض) کے پیچھے صف بستہ تھے، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اے لوگو ! نبوت کی خوشخبری میں سے ان اچھے خوابوں کے علاوہ کچھ نہیں بچا جن کو مسلمان دیکھے یا اس کو دکھایا جائے۔
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (RA) se riwayat hai keh Rasool Allah (SAW) ne apne hujra mubarak ka parda uthaya, jab keh log Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) ke peeche saf basta thay, Aap (SAW) ne farmaya: Aye logo! Nabuat ki khushkhabri mein se in ache khabon ke ilawa kuch nahi bacha jin ko musalman dekhe ya is ko dikhaya jaye.
Anas narrated that the Messenger of Allah, may peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Prophethood and Messengership have ended." The people went out (in sadness) so he said, "Good tidings remain, which are a part of Prophethood."
حضرت انس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کہ نبوت اور رسالت ختم ہوچکی ہے، یہ سننے کے بعد لوگوں نے تنگی محسوس کی تو پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کہ ہاں خوشخبریاں باقی رہ گئی ہیں اور وہ نبوت کا جزء ہیں۔
Hazrat Anas (RA) farmate hain keh Rasool Allah (SAW) ne farmaya keh nabuwat aur risalat khatam ho chuki hai, yeh sunne ke baad logon ne tangi mehsoos ki to phir aap (SAW) ne farmaya keh haan khushkhabriyan baqi reh gayi hain aur wo nabuwat ka juz hain.
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abu Dharr (RA) that he said: I asked, O Messenger of Allah 5! Sometimes a person does such an act that people start loving him because of it, you said that this is good news for the believer
حضرت ابو ذر (رض) سے روایت ہے فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ 5! کبھی آدمی کوئی ایسا عمل کرتا ہے جس کی بنا پر لوگ اس سے محبت کرنے لگتے ہیں، آپ نے فرمایا کہ یہ مؤمن کے لیے خوشخبری ہے

Zahir Aslami narrates from his father that Hazrat Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say that good and true dreams are one part out of forty-six parts of Prophethood.
حضرت زاہر اسلمی اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ حضرت عبداللہ (رض) فرماتے تھے کہ اچھے اور سچے خواب نبوت کا ستّرواں حصّہ ہیں۔
Hazrat Zahir Islami apne wald se riwayat karte hain ke Hazrat Abdullah (RA) farmate thy ke achhe aur sache khwab nabuwat ka satwan hissa hain.
Anas narrated: “The dream of a Muslim is one part out of forty-six parts of Prophethood.”
حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "مسلمان کا خواب نبوت کے چھیالیس حصوں میں سے ایک حصہ ہوتا ہے"۔

It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that a good dream of a righteous Muslim is one part out of forty-six parts of Prophethood.
حضرت ابو سعید (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کہ نیک مسلمان کا خواب نبوت کا سترواں حصّہ ہے۔
