It is narrated from Hazrat Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said that my grandson has passed away, what will I get from his inheritance? You said: You have a sixth of the property, when he turned, you called him and said: You have another sixth. When he turned, you called him again and said: The second sixth is as a gift.
حضرت عمران بن حصین (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ ایک آدمی نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس آیا اور کہنے لگا کہ میرا پوتا فوت ہوگیا ہے، مجھے اس کی میراث میں سے کیا ملے گا ؟ آپ نے فرمایا : تمہارے لیے مال کا چھٹا حصّہ ہے، جب وہ مڑا تو آپ نے اس کو بلایا اور فرمایا : تمہارے لیے ایک اور چھٹا حصّہ ہے۔ جب وہ مڑا تو آپ نے پھر اس کو بلوایا اور فرمایا : دوسرا چھٹا حصّہ بطور عطیہ کے ہے۔
Hazrat Imran bin Haseen (RA) se riwayat hai ki aik aadmi Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke pass aaya aur kehne laga ki mera pota fot hogaya hai, mujhe is ki miraas mein se kya milay ga? Aap ne farmaya: Tumhare liye maal ka chhata hissa hai, jab woh muda to aap ne us ko bulaya aur farmaya: Tumhare liye aik aur chhata hissa hai. Jab woh muda to aap ne phir us ko bulaya aur farmaya: Dusra chhata hissa ba tor ataya ke hai.
Hazrat Ma'qil bin Yasaar Muzani (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) when a matter of inheritance was brought to you in which the grandfather was also mentioned, you gave him a third of the property or a sixth of the property.
حضرت معقل بن یسار مُزَنی (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو اس وقت سنا جب آپ کے پاس میراث کا ایک مسئلہ لایا گیا جس میں دادا کا بھی ذکر تھا، آپ نے اس کو ایک تہائی مال یا مال کا چھٹا حصّہ دلایا۔
Hazrat Maqal bin Yasar Muzni (RA) farmate hain keh maine Rasool Allah (SAW) ko us waqt suna jab aap ke paas miras ka aik masla laya gaya jis mein dada ka bhi zikar tha, aap ne us ko aik tihai maal ya maal ka chhata hissa dilaya.
Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) asked: Who knows what the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said regarding the grandfather? Muadh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave this decision regarding us. He asked, "What decision did he give?" He replied, "One-sixth of the wealth." He asked, "In the presence of which relatives?" He said, "I do not know." He said, "If you do not know anything, then what is the benefit of knowing this?"
حسن (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت عمر (رض) نے پوچھا : کون جانتا ہے کہ دادا کے بارے میں نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے کیا ارشاد فرمایا ؟ حضرت معقل بن یسار (رض) نے عرض کی کہ ہمارے بارے میں رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے یہ فیصلہ فرمایا تھا، آپ نے پوچھا، کیا فیصلہ فرمایا تھا ؟ انھوں نے جواب دیا کہ مال کے چھٹے حصّے کا، آپ نے پوچھا : کن رشتہ داروں کی موجودگی میں ؟ انھوں نے فرمایا کہ مجھے معلوم نہیں، آپ نے فرمایا : تجھے کچھ معلوم نہ ہو ، بھلا پھر اس بات کے معلوم ہونے کا کیا فائدہ ہے۔
Hasan (RA) farmate hain ke Hazrat Umar (RA) ne poocha: Kaun janta hai ke dada ke bare mein Nabi Kareem (SAW) ne kya irshad farmaya? Hazrat Maqal bin Yasar (RA) ne arz ki ke hamare bare mein Rasul Allah (SAW) ne ye faisla farmaya tha, aap ne poocha, kya faisla farmaya tha? Unhon ne jawab diya ke maal ke chate hisse ka, aap ne poocha: Kin rishtedaron ki mojoodgi mein? Unhon ne farmaya ke mujhe maloom nahin, aap ne farmaya: Tujhe kuch maloom na ho, bhala phir is baat ke maloom hone ka kya faidah hai.
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (R.A.) narrates that, during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), we used to consider the paternal uncle as an inheritor.
حضرت ابو سعید خدری (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ ہم رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے زمانے میں دادا کو وارث بنایا کرتے تھے۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (RA) farmate hain ke hum Rasool Allah (SAW) ke zamane mein dada ko waris banaya karte thay.
