A person from the tribe of Muzaynah narrates from his father that when the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would send out an army, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would instruct them: When you see a mosque or you hear the call to prayer, do not kill anyone.
قبیلہ مزینہ کے ایک شخص اپنے والد سے نقل کرتے ہیں کہ نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) جب کسی لشکر کو بھیجتے تھے تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ان سے فرماتے تھے : جب تم مسجد دیکھو یا تم مؤذن کی آواز سنو تو تم کسی کو قتل مت کرو۔
Qabeela Mazeena ke aik shakhs apne walid se naql karte hain ke Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) jab kisi lashkar ko bhejte thay to aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) un se farmate thay: Jab tum masjid dekho ya tum moazzin ki awaz suno to tum kisi ko qatal mat karo.
Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would approach a people at night and if he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) heard the Adhan, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would stop fighting.
حضرت انس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) جب رات کے وقت کسی قوم کے پاس آتے اور اگر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اذان سنتے تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) قتال سے رک جاتے۔
Hazrat Anas (RA) farmate hain keh Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) jab raat ke waqt kisi qaum ke pass aate aur agar aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) azan sunte to aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) qatal se ruk jate.
Hazrat Abu al-'Aliyah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when Hazrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) would send an army against the apostates, he would instruct them: "Settle near their settlement. If you hear the adhan (call to prayer) before sunrise, then [it is well], otherwise, attack them."
حضرت ابوالعالیہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت ابوبکر (رض) جب کوئی لشکرمرتدین کی طرف بھیجتے تو فرماتے : تم لوگ بستی کے قریب ہو کر بیٹھ جانا، پس اگر سورج طلوع ہونے تک اذان کی آواز سن لو تو ٹھیک ورنہ تم ان پر حملہ کردینا۔
Hazrat Abu Alaiyah (RA) farmate hain keh Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) jab koi lashkar murtadeen ki taraf bhejte to farmate: Tum log basti ke qareeb ho kar baith jana, pas agar suraj talu hone tak azan ki aawaz sun lo to theek warna tum un per hamla karna.
