Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 22888
It is narrated from Hazrat Hassan that a person from Quraysh committed theft, so the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had his hand cut off, and they used to accept his testimony.
حضرت حسن سے مروی ہے کہ قریش کے ایک شخص نے چوری کی تو حضور اقدس (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اس کے ہاتھ کٹوا دئیے، اور اس کی گواہی قبول کرتے تھے۔
Hazrat Hassan se marvi hai keh Quresh ke aik shakhs ne chori ki to Huzoor Aqdas (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne uss ke hath kutwa diye, aur uski gawahi qubool karte thay.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، وَحُمَيْدٍ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ سَرَقَ بَعِيرًا ، فَقَطَعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَدَهُ ، قَالَ : « وَكَانَتْ تَجُوزُ شَهَادَتُهُ »
