Who said: His hand is not cut off for less than ten dirhams?
مَنْ قَالَ: لَا تُقْطَعُ فِي أَقَلَّ مِنْ عَشَرَةِ دَرَاهِمَ

Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 28113
Hazrat Amr bin Shuaib narrates that I went to Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib and I said to him: Verily, your companions Urwah bin Zubair, Muhammad bin Muslim Zihri and Ibn Ishaq all say that the price of a shield is five dirhams. He replied: In any case, the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has passed regarding this, that it is ten dirhams.
حضرت عمرو بن شعیب فرماتے ہیں کہ میں حضرت سعید بن مسیب کے پاس داخل ہوا اور میں نے ان سے عرض کی ! یقیناً آپ کے اصحاب عروہ بن زبیر، محمد بن مسلم زھری اور ابن یسار یہ سب فرماتے ہیں : ڈھال کی قیمت پانچ دراھم ہیں۔ اس پر آپ نے فرمایا : بہرحال اس بارے میں رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی سنت گزر چکی ہے وہ دس دراھم ہے۔
Hazrat Amr bin Shoaib farmate hain ki main Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyab ke paas dakhil hua aur maine unse arz ki Yaqinan aap ke ashaab Urwah bin Zubair Muhammad bin Muslim Zuhri aur Ibn e Yasar ye sab farmate hain dhaal ki qeemat panch dirham hain Is par aap ne farmaya baharhaal is baare mein Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ki sunnat guzar chuki hai woh das dirham hai
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الثَّقَفِيُّ ، عَنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، قَالَ : دَخَلْتُ عَلَى سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ : إِنَّ أَصْحَابَكَ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ ، ومُحَمَّدَ بْنَ مُسْلِمٍ الزُّهْرِيَّ ، وَابْنَ يَسَارٍ ، يَقُولُونَ : ثَمَنُ الْمِجَنِّ خَمْسَةُ دَرَاهِمَ ، قَالَ : « أَمَّا هَذَا فَقَدْ مَضَتْ فِيهِ سُنَّةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَشَرَةُ دَرَاهِمَ »
