Two men both claim a child born from a woman in a single period of purity, who inherits from him

Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 31470
Zayd bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that we were with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) when a man came from Yemen while Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was in Yemen, and he began to tell the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) things and news. He said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Three men came to Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and they began to quarrel over a baby, each one claiming that he was his son, while they had intercourse with one woman in one period of purity. Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "You are equal partners, and I will draw lots among you. Whoever's name comes out, the child will be his, and it will be obligatory for the other two companions to give two-thirds of the blood money." He said that then you drew lots among them, and to whomever the lot came out, you gave him the child, and made two-thirds of the blood money obligatory on him. Upon this, you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) laughed until your back teeth or your molars became visible.'
زید بن ارقم (رض) نے فرمایا کہ ہم رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس تھے کہ ایک آدمی یمن سے آیا جبکہ حضرت علی (رض) یمن میں ہی تھے، اور وہ نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو باتیں اور خبریں بتانے لگا، اس نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! علی (رض) کے پاس تین آدمی آئے اور وہ ایک بچے کے بارے میں جھگڑنے لگے، ہر ایک یہ گمان کرتا تھا کہ وہ اس کا بیٹا ہے، جبکہ انھوں نے ایک ہی طہر میں ایک عورت کے ساتھ جماع کیا تھا، حضرت علی (رض) نے فرمایا کہ تم برابر شریک ہو، اور میں تمہارے درمیان قرعہ اندازی کرتا ہوں، جس کے نام قرعہ نکل آئے بچہ اسی کے لیے ہوگا، اور اس پر دوسرے دو ساتھیوں کے لیے دیت کا دو تہائی دینا لازم ہوگا، کہتے ہیں کہ پھر آپ نے ان کے درمیان قرعہ ڈالا، اور جس کے نام قرعہ نکلا اس کو بچہ دے دیا، اور اس پر دو تہائی دیت لازم کردی، اس پر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ہنس اٹھے یہاں تک کہ آپ کی آخری داڑھیں یا آپ کی داڑھیں ظاہر ہوگئیں۔
Zaid bin Arqam (RA) ne farmaya keh hum Rasool Allah (SAW) ke pass thay keh aik aadmi Yemen se aaya jabkeh Hazrat Ali (RA) Yemen mein hi thay, aur woh Nabi Kareem (SAW) ko baatein aur khabrain batane laga, usne kaha: Aye Allah ke Rasool! Ali (RA) ke pass teen aadmi aaye aur woh aik bache ke baare mein jhagadne lage, har aik yeh gumaan karta tha keh woh us ka beta hai, jabkeh unhon ne aik hi taher mein aik aurat ke sath jima kiya tha, Hazrat Ali (RA) ne farmaya keh tum barabar sharik ho, aur mein tumhare darmiyaan qur'a andazi karta hun, jis ke naam qur'a nikal aaye bacha usi ke liye hoga, aur us par dusre do saathiyon ke liye dait ka do tihai dena lazim hoga, kehte hain keh phir aap ne un ke darmiyaan qur'a dala, aur jis ke naam qur'a nikla us ko bacha de diya, aur us par do tihai dait lazim kardi, is par aap (SAW) hans uthe yahan tak keh aap ki aakhri daarhen ya aap ki daarhen zahir hogayin.
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ ، عَنِ الْأَجْلَحِ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْخَلِيلِ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ ، قَالَ : " بَيْنَمَا نَحْنُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ ، إِذْ أَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْيَمَنِ وَعَلِيٌّ بِهَا ، فَجَعَلَ يُحَدِّثُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَيُخْبِرُهُ ، قَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَتَى عَلِيًّا ثَلَاثَةُ نَفَرٍ فَاخْتَصَمُوا فِي وَلَدٍ كُلُّهُمْ ، وَزَعَمَ أَنَّهُ ابْنُهُ ، وَقَعُوا عَلَى امْرَأَةٍ فِي طُهْرٍ وَاحِدٍ ، فَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ : إِنَّكُمْ شُرَكَاءُ مُتَشَاكِسُونَ ، وَإِنِّي مُقْرِعٌ بَيْنَكُمْ ، فَمَنْ قَرَعَ فَلَهُ الْوَلَدُ ، وَعَلَيْهِ ثُلُثَا الدِّيَةِ لِصَاحِبَيْهِ ، قَالَ : فَأَقْرَعَ بَيْنَهُمْ ، فَقَرَعَ أَحَدُهُمْ ، فَدَفَعَ إِلَيْهِ الْوَلَدَ وَجَعَلَ عَلَيْهِ ثُلُثَيِ الدِّيَةِ ، فَضَحِكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ حَتَّى بَدَتْ نَوَاجِذُهُ أَوْ أَضْرَاسُهُ "
