Regarding a man who converts under the guidance of another man and then dies, who said that he inherits from him?
فِي الرَّجُلِ يُسْلِمُ عَلَى يَدَيْ رَجُلٍ ثُمَّ يَمُوتُ، مَنْ قَالَ: يَرِثُهُ

Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 31579
Umar bin Abdul Aziz said that Hadrat Abi decided about a man from among the Dhimmis who became Muslim at the hands of someone and then died and left behind a daughter, you gave his daughter half of the wealth, and gave half to the one at whose hands he became Muslim.
عمر بن عبد العزیز فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت أبی نے ذمیوں میں سے ایک آدمی کے بارے میں فیصلہ فرمایا جو کسی کے ہاتھ پر مسلمان ہوا تھا اور پھر مرگیا اور ایک بیٹی چھوڑ گیا، آپ نے اس کی بیٹی کو نصف مال دیا، اور جس کے ہاتھ پر اسلام لایا تھا اس کو بھی نصف دے دیا۔
Umar bin Abdul Aziz farmate hain ke Hazrat Ubay ne zimmiyon mein se ek aadmi ke bare mein faisla farmaya jo kisi ke hath par musalman hua tha aur phir mar gaya aur ek beti chhor gaya, aap ne uski beti ko nisf maal diya, aur jis ke hath par islam laya tha usko bhi nisf de diya.
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : « قَضَى أَبِي فِي رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الذِّمَّةِ أَسْلَمَ عَلَى يَدَيْ رَجُلٍ ، فَمَاتَ وَتَرَكَ ابْنَةً ، فَأَعْطَى ابْنَتَهُ النِّصْفَ ، وَأَعْطَى الَّذِي أَسْلَمَ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ النِّصْفَ »
