Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 9608
It is narrated by Hazrat Ibn Umar that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that a month is of twenty-nine days. Then he opened both his palms twice and the third time he kept his thumb closed. When Hazrat Aisha heard the narration of Hazrat Ibn Umar, she said, "May Allah have mercy on Abu Abdur Rahman. Actually, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had left his wives for a month. When he came back after twenty-nine days, people said, 'O Messenger of Allah! You had vowed for a month.' The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, 'A month can also be of twenty-nine days.'
حضرت ابن عمر سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ مہینہ انتیس دن کا ہوتا ہے۔ پھر آپ نے اپنی دونوں ہتھیلیوں کو دو مرتبہ پورا پورا کھولا اور تیسری مرتبہ انگوٹھے کو بند رکھا۔ حضرت عائشہ نے جب حضرت ابن عمر کی روایت سنی تو فرمایا کہ اللہ ابو عبد الرحمن پر رحم فرمائے۔ دراصل رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ایک مہینے تک کے لیے اپنی بیویوں کو چھوڑ دیا تھا۔ آپ انتیس دن بعد تشریف لے آئے تو لوگوں نے کہا کہ اے اللہ کے رسول ! آپ نے تو ایک مہینے کا ایلاء کیا تھا۔ حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کہ مہینہ کبھی انتیس دن کا بھی ہوتا ہے۔
Hazrat Ibn Umar se riwayat hai keh Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya keh mahina untis din ka hota hai. Phir aap ne apni donon hatheliyon ko do martaba poora poora khola aur teesri martaba angoothe ko band rakha. Hazrat Ayesha ne jab Hazrat Ibn Umar ki riwayat suni to farmaya keh Allah Abu Abdur Rahman par reham farmaye. Darasal Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne aik mahine tak ke liye apni biwiyon ko chhor diya tha. Aap untis din baad tashreef laye to logon ne kaha keh aye Allah ke Rasul! Aap ne to aik mahine ka ila kiya tha. Huzoor (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya keh mahina kabhi untis din ka bhi hota hai.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَاطِبٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ : « الشَّهْرُ تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ » ثُمَّ طَبَّقَ بَيْنَ كَفَّيْهِ مَرَّتَيْنِ ، وَطَبَّقَ الثَّالِثَةَ ، وَقَبَضَ الْإِبْهَامَ
