Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3070
Abdullah bin Mas'ud (رضئ هللا تعالی عنہ) narrated that ‘whoever wishes to look at the Sahifah which Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) placed his seal upon, then let him look at these verses - [Tell them, 'Come, I will read out what your Lord has made binding upon you; that you make none equal of Allah, and be good to your parents, and do not kill your children out of poverty, for We give you food and We shall provide for them; and avoid what is shameful, whether open or hidden, and do not take a life which Allah has forbidden, unless for some just cause. These things Allah has enjoined upon you, so that you know right from the wrong (and follow His guidance). Do not go near the inheritance (property) of the orphans (left by their parents) but only for their betterment, until they come of age; and give in full measure and weigh justly on the balance. Allah does not burden anyone beyond his capacity. When you say a thing, let it be just, even though the matter is related to your relative, and fulfill the promise made to Allah. These are the things that He has enjoined that you may take heed. And that, this is My Straight Path, so follow it; and do not follow other ways for they will sever you from His way; this is commanded to you, so that you may attain piety.'] (Al-An’aaؑ: 151-53). Imam Tirmidhi said this Hadith is Hasan Gharib.

عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ جسے اس بات سے خوشی ہو کہ وہ صحیفہ دیکھے جس پر محمد ﷺ کی مہر ہے تو اسے یہ آیات «قل تعالوا أتل ما حرم ربكم عليكم» سے «لعلكم تتقون» ۱؎ تک پڑھنی چاہیئے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن غریب ہے۔
Abdul-Allah ibn Mas'ood (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke jisay is baat se khushi ho ke woh sahifah dekhe jis par Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki mehr hai to usay yeh ayat «Qul ta'ala aw tul ma harram rabbukum 'alaykum» se «La'allakum tattaqoon» 1؎ tak parhni chahiye. Imam Tirmidhi kehte hain: Yeh hadeeth hasan gharib hai.
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ الْأَوْدِيِّ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى الصَّحِيفَةِ الَّتِي عَلَيْهَا خَاتَمُ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلْيَقْرَأْ هَذِهِ الْآيَاتِ قُلْ تَعَالَوْا أَتْلُ مَا حَرَّمَ رَبُّكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ إِلَى قَوْلِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ سورة الأنعام آية 151 ـ 153 ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ.
