It is narrated on the authority of Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that a woman said to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that I have noticed that your companion has not visited you for a long time. Upon this, the verse was revealed: "Your Lord has neither forsaken you nor is He displeased with you."

حضرت جندب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک عورت نے نبی کریم ﷺ سے کہا کہ میں دیکھ رہی ہوں کہ تمہارا ساتھی کافی عرصے سے تمہارے پاس نہیں آیا اس پر یہ آیت نازل ہوئی تیرے رب نے تجھے چھوڑا ہے اور نہ ہی ناراض ہوا ہے۔ "
Hazrat Jundub Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki ek aurat ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se kaha ki main dekh rahi hun ki tumhara sathi kafi arse se tumhare pass nahi aaya is par ye ayat nazil hui tere rab ne tujhe chhoda hai aur na hi naraz hua hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) got a wound on his finger and it started bleeding. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "It is just a finger that is bleeding, and you have not suffered any major hardship in the way of Allah."

حضرت جندب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ کی انگلی پر کوئی زخم آیا اور اس میں سے خون بہنے لگا تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا تو ایک انگلی ہی ہے تو خون آلود ہوگئی ہے اور اللہ کے راستے میں تجھے کوئی بڑی تکلیف تو نہیں آئی۔
Hazrat Jundub Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki ungli par koi zakhm aaya aur us mein se khoon behne laga to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya to ek ungli hi hai to khoon allud hogayi hai aur Allah ke raste mein tujhe koi badi takleef to nahi aai.
Narrated by Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that he was present in the service of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) after offering the Eid prayer, delivered a sermon and said: Whoever has offered his sacrifice before the Eid prayer, should offer it again, and whoever has not yet slaughtered his animal, should slaughter it now in the name of Allah.

حضرت جندب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ وہ اس وقت نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر تھے جب نبی کریم ﷺ نے نماز پڑھ کر خطبہ دیتے ہوئے فرمایا جس شخص نے نماز عید سے پہلے قربانی کرلی ہو وہ اس کی جگہ دوبارہ قربانی کرے اور جس نے نماز عید سے پہلے جانور ذبح نہ کیا ہو تو اب اللہ کا نام لے کر ذبح کرلے۔
Hazrat Jundab raziallahu anhu se marvi hai ki woh us waqt Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir thay jab Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne namaz parh kar khutba dete huye farmaya jis shakhs ne namaz eid se pehle qurbani karli ho woh us ki jagah dobara qurbani kare aur jis ne namaz eid se pehle janwar zabah na kiya ho to ab Allah ka naam le kar zabah karle.
It is narrated on the authority of Jundab (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a villager came, sat his she-camel down, tied it, and joined the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in prayer. After the prayer ended, he came to his ride, untied it, mounted it, and then prayed aloud, "O Allah! Shower Your mercy on me and on Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and do not include anyone else with us in this mercy." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them), "Tell me, is this man more ignorant or his camel? Did you not hear what he said?" The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) said, "Why not, O Messenger of Allah?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "You wanted to limit the vast mercy of Allah, while Allah Almighty created one hundred mercies, out of which He sent down one mercy. The result is that all creatures, jinn, humans, and even animals, show mercy and kindness to one another. And the remaining ninety-nine mercies are with Him. Now tell me, is he more ignorant or his camel?"

حضرت جندب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ایک دیہاتی آیا اپنی اونٹنی بٹھائی اسے باندھا اور نبی کریم ﷺ کے پیچھے نماز میں شریک ہوگیا، نماز سے فراغت کے بعد وہ اپنی سواری کے پاس آیا اس کی رسی کھولی اور اس پر سوار ہوگیا پھر اس نے بلند آواز سے یہ دعاء کی کہ اے اللہ! مجھ پر اور محمد ﷺ پر اپنی رحمتیں نازل فرما اور اپنی اس رحمت میں ہمارے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہ فرما، نبی کریم ﷺ نے صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہ سے فرمایا یہ بتاؤ کہ یہ شخص زیادہ نادان ہے یا اس کا اونٹ؟ تم نے سنا نہیں کہ اس نے کیا کہا ہے؟ صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کیوں نہیں نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا تو نے اللہ کی وسیع رحمت کو محدود کردینا چاہا، حالانکہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے سو رحمتیں پیدا کی ہیں جن میں سے ایک رحمت نازل فرمادی اس کا نتیجہ ہے کہ تمام مخلوقات جن وانس اور جانور تک ایک دوسرے پر رحم اور مہربانی کرتے ہیں اور بقیہ ننانوے رحمتیں اسی کے پاس ہیں اب بتاؤ کہ یہ زیادہ نادان ہے یا اس کا اونٹ؟
Hazrat Jundub Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki aik martaba aik dehati aaya apni untni bithayi usay bandha aur Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke peechay namaz mein shareek hogaya, namaz se farighat ke baad woh apni sawari ke paas aaya uski rassi kholi aur us par sawar hogaya phir usne buland awaz se yeh dua ki ke aye Allah! mujh par aur Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) par apni rehmaten nazil farma aur apni iss rehmat mein hamare saath kisi ko shareek na farma, Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Sahaba Kiram Raziallahu Anhum se farmaya yeh batao ki yeh shaks ziada nadan hai ya uska unt? tumne suna nahi ke usne kya kaha hai? Sahaba Kiram Raziallahu Anhum ne kaha kyun nahi Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya to ne Allah ki wasee rehmat ko mehdood karden chaha, halan ke Allah Ta'ala ne so rehmaten paida ki hain jin mein se aik rehmat nazil farmadi uska natija hai ke tamam makhlooqat jinn o ins aur janwar tak aik doosre par reham aur mehrbani karte hain aur baqia ninanve rehmaten usi ke paas hain ab batao ke yeh ziada nadan hai ya uska unt?.
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man was wounded (in the battlefield) and people carried him home. When his pain intensified, he took out an arrow from his quiver and plunged it into his own chest. When this matter was mentioned before the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he recited this decree of Allah Almighty: "My servant has preceded Me in his own matter."

حضرت جندب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی کو (میدان جنگ میں) کوئی زخم لگ گیا اسے اٹھا کر لوگ گھر لے آئے جب اسے درد کی شدت زیادہ محسوس ہونے لگی تو اس نے اپنے ترکش سے ایک تیر نکالا اور اپنے سینے میں اسے خود ہی گھونپ لیا نبی کریم ﷺ کے سامنے جب یہ بات ذکر کی گئی تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے اللہ تعالیٰ کا یہ ارشاد نقل کیا کہ میرے بندے نے اپنی کے معاملے میں مجھ پر سبقت کرلی۔
Hazrat Jundub Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki aik aadmi ko maidan e jang mein koi zakhm lag gaya use utha kar log ghar le aaye jab use dard ki shiddat zyada mehsoos hone lagi to usne apne tarkash se aik teer nikala aur apne seene mein use khud hi ghonp liya Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke samne jab ye baat zikar ki gayi to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Allah Ta'ala ka ye irshad naqal kiya ke mere bande ne apni jaan ke mamle mein mujh par sabqat kar li
It is narrated on the authority of Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) fell ill and was unable to offer the night prayer (Tahajjud) for two or three nights. A woman came to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, "I see that your companion (Angel Jibreel) has not visited you for quite some time." Upon this, the verse was revealed: "And your Lord has neither forsaken you nor is He displeased."

Narrated by Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that he was in the service of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) returned after offering the Eid al-Adha prayer and saw meat and sacrificed animals. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) understood that these animals had been sacrificed before the Eid prayer, so the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that whoever has sacrificed before the Eid prayer should sacrifice again in its place, and whoever has not sacrificed the animal before the Eid prayer, let him now sacrifice it in the name of Allah.

It is narrated on the authority of Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Whoever offers the Fajr prayer, he comes under the protection of Allah. So do not consider Allah's protection to be insignificant (insignificant), and He will not ask you for anything in return for His protection."

حضرت جندب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا جو شخص فجر کی نماز پڑھ لیتا ہے وہ اللہ کی ذمہ داری میں آجاتا ہے لہٰذا تم اللہ کی ذمہ داری کو ہلکا (حقیر) مت سمجھو اور وہ تم سے اپنے ذمے کی کسی چیز کا مطالبہ نہ کرے۔
Hazrat Jundab Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya jo shakhs fajar ki namaz parh leta hai wo Allah ki zimmedari mein ajata hai lihaza tum Allah ki zimmedari ko halka (haqir) mat samjho aur wo tum se apne zimme ki kisi cheez ka mutalba na kare.
Narrated by Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) fell ill and could not offer the night prayer (Tahajjud) for two or three nights. A woman came and said to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "I see that your companion has not come to you for a long time." Upon this, the verse was revealed: "Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]."

It was narrated from Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that he was with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) when he came back after offering the Eid-ul-Adha prayer. He saw the meat and the slaughtered sacrificial animals. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) understood that they had been slaughtered before the Eid prayer, so he said: "Whoever slaughtered his animal before the Eid prayer, let him slaughter another one in its place, and whoever has not yet slaughtered his animal, let him slaughter it now in the Name of Allah."

Narrated by Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Jibril (Gabriel) was a little late in presenting himself in the court of Prophethood, which made the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) restless. Someone commented on this, upon which this verse was revealed: Your Lord has neither forsaken you nor is He displeased with you.

It is narrated by Jundub (May Allah be pleased with him) that once, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) got a wound on his finger and it started bleeding. It was narrated from Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever does an action for the sake of gaining fame, Allah will leave him with it, and whoever does an action for the sake of showing off, Allah will leave him with it.”

حضرت جندب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا جو شخص شہرت حاصل کرنے کے لئے کوئی کام کرتا ہے اللہ اسے اس کے حوالے کردیتا ہے اور جو شخص ریاء کاری سے کوئی کام کرے اللہ اسے اس کے ہی حوالے کردیتا ہے۔
Hazrat Jundab razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya jo shakhs shuhrat hasil karne ke liye koi kaam karta hai Allah use uske hawale karta hai aur jo shakhs riyakari se koi kaam kare Allah use uske hi hawale karta hai.
It is narrated by Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I will be waiting for you at the Al-Kawthar (a stream/fountain/river in Paradise)."

حضرت جندب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا میں حوض کوثر پر تمہارا منتظر ہوں گا۔

It is narrated by Jundab (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: I will be waiting for you at the Pond of Kawthar.

حضرت جندب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ میں حوض کوثر پر تمہارا منتظر ہوں گا۔
Hazrat Jundub Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai keh maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko yeh farmate huye suna hai keh main hauz e kosar par tumhara muntazir hounga.
It was narrated from Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that he was with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed and then delivered the khutbah. He said: “Whoever slaughtered (his sacrifice) before the Eid prayer, let him repeat it (i.e., slaughter another), and whoever has not yet slaughtered, let him slaughter now in the name of Allah.”

It has been narrated on the authority of Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever offers the Fajr prayer, he comes under the protection of Allah. So, do not consider Allah's protection insignificant (or trivial), and He should not demand from you anything that is under His protection."

حضرت جندب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا جو شخص فجر کی نماز پڑھ لیتا ہے وہ اللہ کی ذمہ داری میں آجاتا ہے لہٰذاتم اللہ کی ذمہ داری کو ہلکا (حقیر) مت سمجھو اور وہ تم سے اپنے ذمے کی کسی چیز کا مطالبہ نہ کرے۔
Hazrat Jundub Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya jo shakhs fajar ki namaz parh leta hai wo Allah ki zimmedari mein aajata hai lihaza tum Allah ki zimmedari ko halka (haqir) mat samjho aur wo tum se apne zimme ki kisi cheez ka mutalba na kare.
Hazrat Jundab (RA) narrated that he was present in the service of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) when the Prophet (peace be upon him) offered prayers and delivered a sermon. He said, "Whoever has already performed the sacrifice before the Eid prayer should consider it as a voluntary act of charity. And whoever has not yet offered the sacrifice before the Eid prayer, should do so by mentioning the name of Allah."

حضرت جندب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ وہ اس وقت نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر تھے جب نبی کریم ﷺ نے نماز پڑھ کر خطبہ دیتے ہوئے فرمایا جس شخص نے نماز عید سے پہلے قربانی کرلی ہو وہ اس کی جگہ دوبارہ قربانی کرے اور جس نے نماز عید سے پہلے جانور ذبح نہ کیا ہو تو اب اللہ کا نام لے کر ذبح کرلے۔
Hazrat Jundub Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki wo us waqt Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir thay jab Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne namaz parh kar khutba dete huye farmaya jis shakhs ne namaz eid se pehle qurbani karli ho wo us ki jaga dobara qurbani kare aur jis ne namaz eid se pehle janwar zabah na kiya ho to ab Allah ka naam lekar zabah karle.
Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Recite the Holy Quran as long as your hearts are in a state of delight and joy. When this state starts to fade, then stop reciting.”

حضرت جندب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا قرآن کریم اس وقت تک پڑھا کرو جب تک تمہارے دلوں میں نشاط کی کیفیت ہو اور جب یہ کیفیت ختم ہونے لگے تو اٹھ جایا کرو۔
