It is narrated on the authority of Safinah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying that the Caliphate will last for thirty years, and after that, kingship will emerge. Safinah (may Allah be pleased with him) used to count it like this: Two years of the Caliphate of Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him), ten years of Umar Farooq (may Allah be pleased with him), twelve years of Usman Ghani (may Allah be pleased with him), and six years of Ali Murtaza (may Allah be pleased with him) (a total of thirty years).

حضرت سفینہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ خلافت تیس سال تک رہے گی اس کے بعد بادشاہت آجائے گی حضرت سفینہ رضی اللہ عنہ اسے یوں شمار کراتے ہیں کہ دو سال حضرت صدیق اکبر رضی اللہ عنہ کی خلافت کے ہوئے دس سال حضرت عمر فاروق رضی اللہ عنہ کے بارہ سال حضرت عثمان غنی رضی اللہ عنہ کے اور چھ سال حضرت علی مرتضیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ کے (کل تیس سال ہوگئے)
Hazrat Safaena Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate hue suna hai ki Khilafat tees saal tak rahe gi iske baad badshahat aa jaye gi Hazrat Safaena Raziallahu Anhu ise yun shumaar karate hain ki do saal Hazrat Siddique Akbar Raziallahu Anhu ki khilafat ke hue das saal Hazrat Umar Farooq Raziallahu Anhu ke barah saal Hazrat Usman Ghani Raziallahu Anhu ke aur chhe saal Hazrat Ali Murtaza Raziallahu Anhu ke (kul tees saal ho gaye).
It is narrated on the authority of Safeena (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man slaughtered his she-camel with a sharpened piece of wood. He then inquired from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) regarding its ruling. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) permitted him to eat it.

حضرت سفینہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی نے اپنی اونٹنی کو ایک تیز دھار لکڑی سے ذبح کرلیا پھر نبی کریم ﷺ سے اس کا حکم دریافت کیا تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے اسے کھانے کی اجازت دے دی۔
Hazrat Safina (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek aadmi ne apni untni ko ek tez dhaar lakdi se zibah karlia phir Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se iska hukum daryaft kiya to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ise khane ki ijazat de di.
It is narrated from Safinah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that because he used to carry a lot of weight, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) said to him, "You are truly Safinah (ship)."

حضرت سفینہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ چونکہ وہ بہت سا بوجھ اٹھا لیا کرتے تھے اس لئے نبی کریم ﷺ نے ان سے کہہ دیا کہ تم تو سفینہ (کشتی) ہو۔

It is narrated on the authority of Safinah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a man came to Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) as a guest. They prepared food for him, so Fatima (may Allah be pleased with her) said that if we were to invite the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he would also eat with us. So, they sent an invitation to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) arrived, but when he held the door frame, he saw a curtain hanging in a corner of the house. Seeing this, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) returned. Fatima (may Allah be pleased with her) said to Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), "Go after him and ask him the reason for his return." Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) followed him and said, "O Messenger of Allah! Why did you return?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "It is not appropriate for me, or for any prophet, to enter a house that is 'decorated and adorned'."

حضرت سفینہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کے یہاں ایک آدمی مہمان بن کر آیا انہوں نے اس کے لئے کھانا تیار کیا تو حضرت فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہما کہنے لگیں کہ اگر ہم نبی کریم ﷺ کو بلا لیتے تو وہ بھی ہمارے ساتھ کھانا کھالیتے، چنانچہ انہوں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو بلا بھیجا نبی کریم ﷺ تشریف لے آئے نبی کریم ﷺ نے جب دروازے کے کو اڑوں کو پکڑا تو دیکھا کہ گھر کے ایک کونے میں ایک پردہ لٹک رہا ہے نبی کریم ﷺ اسے دیکھتے ہی واپس چلے گئے حضرت فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہا کہ آپ ان کے پیچھے جائیے اور واپس جانے کی وجہ پوچھئے حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ پیچھے پیچھے گئے اور کہنے لگے یا رسول اللہ! آپ واپس کیوں آگئے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا میرے لئے یا کسی نبی کے لئے ایسے گھر میں داخل ہونا ”جو آراستہ و منقش ہو“ مناسب نہیں ہے۔
Hazrat Safeena Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ki ek martaba Hazrat Ali Radi Allaho Anho ke yahan ek aadmi mehman ban kar aaya unhon ne uske liye khana taiyar kiya to Hazrat Fatima Radi Allaho Anhuma kahne lagi ke agar hum Nabi Kareem SallAllaho Alaihi Wasallam ko bula lete to wo bhi hamare sath khana kha lete chunancha unhon ne Nabi Kareem SallAllaho Alaihi Wasallam ko bula bheja Nabi Kareem SallAllaho Alaihi Wasallam tashreef le aaye Nabi Kareem SallAllaho Alaihi Wasallam ne jab darwaze ke kuwaadon ko pakda to dekha ke ghar ke ek kone mein ek parde latak raha hai Nabi Kareem SallAllaho Alaihi Wasallam use dekhte hi wapas chale gaye Hazrat Fatima Radi Allaho Anha ne Hazrat Ali Radi Allaho Anho se kaha ke aap unke peeche jaiye aur wapas jaane ki wajah poochiye Hazrat Ali Radi Allaho Anho peeche peeche gaye aur kahne lage Ya RasulAllah aap wapas kyon aa gaye Nabi Kareem SallAllaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya mere liye ya kisi nabi ke liye aise ghar mein dakhil hona jo aarasta o munaqqash ho munasib nahin hai.
It is narrated on the authority of a freed slave of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that once I was with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) on a journey. We reached a valley, I started carrying the luggage of the people and crossing it, then the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Today you are doing the work of a ship."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے ایک آزاد کردہ غلام سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نبی کریم ﷺ کے ساتھ کسی سفر میں تھا ہم ایک وادی میں پہنچے، میں لوگوں کا سامان اٹھا کر اسے عبور کرنے لگا تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا آج تو تم سفینہ (کشتی) کا کام دے رہے ہو۔
Hazrat Umm e Salma raziallahu anha ke aik aazaad kardah ghulam se marvi hai ke aik martaba main Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath kisi safar mein tha hum aik wadi mein pahunche, main logon ka saman utha kar usey uboor karne laga to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya aaj to tum safina (kashti) ka kaam de rahe ho.
It is narrated on the authority of Safinah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we were on a journey with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) when any man would get tired, he would hand over his sword, shield, and spear to me, in this way I carried many things, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Today you are working like a ship.

حضرت سفینہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ نبی کریم ﷺ کے ساتھ کسی سفر میں تھے جب کوئی آدمی تھک جاتا تو وہ اپنی تلوار، ڈھال اور نیزہ مجھے پکڑا دیتا، اس طرح میں نے بہت ساری چیزیں اٹھالیں، نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا آج تو تم سفینہ (کشتی) کا کام دے رہے ہو۔
Hazrat Safina razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki ek martaba hum log Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath kisi safar mein the jab koi aadmi thak jata to woh apni talwar, dhal aur neza mujhe pakda deta, is tarah maine bahut sari cheezen uthalin, Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya aaj to tum Safina (kashti) ka kaam de rahe ho.

Fatima (may Allah be pleased with her) said, "If we invite the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he would also eat with us." So they sent an invitation to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) arrived. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) held the wooden frame of the door, he saw a curtain hanging in a corner of the house. Seeing this, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went back. Fatima (may Allah be pleased with her) said to Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), "Go after him and ask the reason for going back." Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) followed him and said, "O Messenger of Allah! Why did you go back?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "It is not appropriate for me or for any prophet to enter such a house which is decorated and embellished."

Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya mere liye ya kisi nabi ke liye aise ghar mein dakhil hona " jo araasta wamanqash ho " munasib nahi hai.
Safinah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) set me free and made it a condition that I would serve the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) for the rest of my life.

حضرت سفینہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے مجھے آزاد کردیا اور یہ شرط لگا دی کہ تا حیات نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت کرتا رہوں گا۔
Hazrat Safina (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Hazrat Umm e Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ne mujhe azad kar diya aur ye shart laga di ki ta hayat Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat karta rahun ga.
It is narrated on the authority of Sufyan (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that I heard the Holy Prophet (PBUH) say that the Caliphate will remain for thirty years, after which there will be kingship. Sufyan (رضي الله تعالى عنه) used to count this by saying that it was two years of the caliphate of Abu Bakr Siddiq (رضي الله تعالى عنه), ten years of Umar Farooq (رضي الله تعالى عنه), twelve years of Usman Ghani (رضي الله تعالى عنه) and six years of Ali Murtaza (رضي الله تعالى عنه). (Thus making a total of thirty years)
The narrator of the hadith says that I asked Saeed bin Jahman where did you meet Sufyan (رضي الله تعالى عنه)? He said that I met him in Batan Nikhla at the time of Hajjaj bin Yusuf, and I stayed with him for eight nights and kept asking him about the hadiths of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). I also asked him his name, but he said that I cannot tell, but the Holy Prophet (PBUH) named me Sufyan. I asked why did the Holy Prophet (PBUH) name you Sufyan? He said that once the Holy Prophet (PBUH) set out with his companions (رضي الله تعالى عنه). His luggage was kept and he loaded the bundle on me. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said to me, "Lift it, you are like a ship." That day, if not one or two, even if the load of seven camels was put on me, I would not have felt any burden, unless they had overburdened me.

راوی حدیث کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے سعید بن جمہان سے پوچھا کہ حضرت سفینہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے آپ کی ملاقات کہاں ہوئی تھی؟ انہوں نے کہا حجاج بن یوسف کے زمانے میں بطن نخلہ میں میری ان سے ملاقات ہوئی تھی اور میں آٹھ راتیں ان کے یہاں مقیم رہا تھا اور ان سے نبی کریم ﷺ کی احادیث پوچھتا رہا تھا، میں نے ان سے ان کا نام بھی پوچھا لیکن انہوں نے فرمایا کہ یہ میں نہیں بتاسکتا، بس نبی کریم ﷺ نے میرا نام سفینہ ہی رکھا تھا، میں نے پوچھا کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے آپ کا نام سفینہ کیوں رکھا تھا؟ انہوں نے فرمایا کہ نبی کریم ﷺ ایک مرتبہ اپنے صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ روانہ ہوئے، ان کا سامان اس رکھا اور وہ گٹھڑی میرے اوپر لاد دی نبی کریم ﷺ نے مجھ سے فرمایا اسے اٹھا لو کہ تم نے سفینہ (کشتی) ہی ہو اس دن اگر مجھ پر ایک دو نہیں، سات اونٹوں کا بوجھ بھی لاد دیا جاتا تو مجھے کچھ بوجھ محسوس نہ ہوتا الاّ یہ کہ وہ مجھ پر زیادتی کرتے۔

Unhon Ne Farmaya Ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Ek Martaba Apne Sahaba Razi Allah Anhum Ke Sath Rawana Huye, Unka Saman Is Rakha Aur Wo Guthri Mere Upar Laad Di Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Ne Mujhse Farmaya Ise Utha Lo Ke Tumne Safeena (Kashti) Hi Ho Is Din Agar Mujh Par Ek Do Nahi, Saat Unton Ka Bojh Bhi Laad Diya Jata To Mujhe Kuch Bojh Mehsoos Na Hota Illa Ye Ke Wo Mujh Par Zyadti Karte.
It is narrated on the authority of Safinah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, while delivering a sermon, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to us, "There has not been a Prophet before me who did not warn his people about the Dajjal. Remember! His left eye will be blind, and on his right eye, there will be a thick fleshy growth. Between both his eyes will be written 'Kafir' (disbeliever). He will have with him two valleys, one resembling Paradise and the other resembling Hell. If I wish, I can even tell you the names of the two prophets and their forefathers, one of whom will be on his right and the other on his left, and this will be a trial."
Then, the Dajjal will say, "Am I not your Lord? Do I not give life and death?" One of the angels will say, "You are lying." But no one will be able to hear this except the other angel accompanying him. His companion will say to him, "You have spoken the truth." People will hear his voice and think he is confirming the Dajjal, although this will be a test. Then, he will set out until he reaches Madinah, but he will not be allowed to enter it. He will say, "This is the city of that man." Then, he will leave from there and reach Syria, and Allah will destroy him near a valley called "Afiq."

حضرت سفینہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ہمیں خطبہ دیتے ہوئے فرمایا مجھ سے پہلے کوئی نبی ایسا نہیں گذرا جس نے اپنی امت کو دجال سے نہ ڈرایا ہو یاد رکھو! اس کی بائیں آنکھ کانی ہوگی اور اس کی دائیں آنکھ پر ایک موٹی پھلی ہوگی، اس کی دونوں آنکھوں کے درمیان کافر لکھا ہوگا، اس کے پاس جنت اور جہنم کی تمثیلی دو وادیاں ہوں گے، اگر میں چاہوں تو ان دو نبیوں اور ان کے آباؤ اجداد کا نام بھی بتاسکتا ہوں، ان میں سے ایک اس کی دائیں جانب ہوگا اور دوسرا بائیں جانب اور یہ ایک آزمائش ہوگی۔
پھر دجال کہے گا کہ کیا میں تمہارا رب نہیں ہوں؟ کیا میں زندگی اور موت نہیں دیتا؟ ان میں سے ایک فرشتہ کہے گا تو جھوٹ بولتا ہے لیکن یہ بات اس کے ساتھی فرشتے کے علاوہ کوئی انسان نہ سن سکے گا، اس کا ساتھی اس سے کہے گا کہ تم نے سچ کہا، اس کی آواز لوگ سن لیں گے اور یہ سمجھیں گے کہ وہ دجال کی تصدیق کر رہا ہے حالانکہ یہ ایک آزمائش ہوگی، پھر وہ روانہ ہوگا یہاں تک کہ مدینہ منورہ جا پہنچے گا لیکن اسے وہاں داخل ہونے کی اجازت نہیں ملے گی اور وہ کہے گا کہ یہ اس آدمی کا شہر ہے پھر وہ وہاں سے چل کر شام پہنچے گا اور اللہ تعالیٰ اسے " افیق " نامی گھاٹی کے قریب ہلاک کروا دے گا۔
Hazrat Safeena Razi Allaho Anho se marvi hai keh aik martaba Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne humein khutba dete huye farmaya mujh se pehle koi nabi aisa nahi guzara jis ne apni ummat ko Dajjal se na daraya ho yaad rakho! Is ki baayein aankh kaani hogi aur is ki daayein aankh par ek moti phali hogi, is ki dono aankhon ke darmiyaan kafir likha hoga, is ke paas jannat aur jahannum ki tamseeli do wadiyan honge, agar mein chahoon to un do nabiyon aur un ke abaao ajdad ka naam bhi bata sakta hoon, in mein se ek is ki daayein jaanib hoga aur doosra baayein jaanib aur yeh ek azmaish hogi.
Phir Dajjal kahega keh kya mein tumhara rab nahi hoon? Kya mein zindagi aur maut nahi deta? In mein se ek firishta kahega tu jhoot bolta hai lekin yeh baat is ke saathi firishte ke ilawa koi insaan na sun sakega, is ka saathi is se kahega keh tum ne sach kaha, is ki aawaz log sun lenge aur yeh samjhenge keh woh Dajjal ki tasdeeq kar raha hai halanke yeh ek azmaish hogi, phir woh rawana hoga yahan tak ke Madina Munawwara ja pahunchega lekin use wahan dakhil hone ki ijazat nahi milegi aur woh kahega keh yeh is aadmi ka shehar hai phir woh wahan se chal kar Sham pahunchega aur Allah Ta'ala use "Afeeq" naami ghati ke qareeb halak karwa dega.
It is narrated on the authority of Safwan (may Allah be pleased with him) that he used to keep a 'mudd' of water for the ablution of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and a 'sa' of water for his ghusl (ritual bath after sexual impurity).

حضرت سفینہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ نبی کریم ﷺ کے ساتھ کسی سفر میں تھے جب کوئی آدمی تھک جاتا تو وہ اپنی تلوار، ڈھال اور نیزہ مجھے پکڑا دیتا، اس طرح میں نے بہت ساری چیزیں اٹھا لیں، نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا آج تو تم سفینہ (کشتی) کا کام دے رہے ہو۔

It is narrated on the authority of Safinah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a man came to Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) as a guest. He [ Ali] prepared food for him. Fatima (may Allah be pleased with her) said, "If we were to invite the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he would also eat with us." So they sent an invitation to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came, but when he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) held the wooden frame of the door, he saw that a curtain was hanging in a corner of the house. Seeing this, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went back. Fatima (may Allah be pleased with her) said to Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), "You go after him and ask the reason for going back." Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) followed him and said, "O Messenger of Allah! Why did you go back?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "It is not appropriate for me or any prophet to enter a house that is decorated and adorned."

حضرت سفینہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کے یہاں ایک آدمی مہمان بن کر آیا انہوں نے اس کے لئے کھانا تیار کیا تو حضرت فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہنے لگیں کہ اگر ہم نبی کریم ﷺ کو بلا لیتے تو وہ بھی ہمارے ساتھ کھانا کھالیتے، چنانچہ انہوں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو بلا بھیجا نبی کریم ﷺ تشریف لے آئے نبی کریم ﷺ نے جب دروازے کے کو اڑوں کو پکڑا تو دیکھا کہ گھر کے ایک کونے میں ایک پردہ لٹک رہا ہے نبی کریم ﷺ اسے دیکھتے ہی واپس چلے گئے حضرت فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہا کہ آپ ان کے پیچھے جائیے اور واپس جانے کی وجہ پوچھئے حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ پیچھے پیچھے گئے اور کہنے لگے یا رسول اللہ! آپ واپس کیوں آگئے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا میرے لئے یا کسی نبی کے لئے ایسے گھر میں داخل ہونا " جو آراستہ و منقش ہو " مناسب نہیں ہے۔
