Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5545
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abdullah Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) went out with the intention of visiting the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). On the way, he passed by a man from the tribe of Banu Tamim, called 'Atard, who was selling a silken garment. He came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah! I saw 'Atard selling a silken garment. If you were to buy it, you could wear it in front of the delegations." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "This is worn by one who will have no share in the Hereafter."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نبی ﷺ سے ملاقات کے ارادے سے نکلے، راستے میں بنو تمیم کے ایک آدمی "عطارد" کے پاس سے ان کا گزر ہوا جو ایک ریشمی جوڑا فروخت کر رہا تھا، وہ نبی ﷺ کے پاس آ کر کہنے لگے یا رسول اللہ! میں نے عطارد کو ایک ریشمی جوڑا فروخت کرتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے اگر آپ اسے خرید لیتے تو وفود کے سامنے پہن لیا کرتے؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”یہ وہ شخص پہنتا ہے جس کا آخرت میں کوئی حصہ نہ ہو۔“
Sayyidaana Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai keh aik martaba Sayyidaana Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se mulaqaat ke irade se nikle, raaste mein Banu Tamim ke aik aadmi "Atarad" ke paas se unka guzar hua jo aik reshmi joda farokht kar raha tha, woh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke paas aa kar kehne lage ya Rasul Allah! mein ne Atarad ko aik reshmi joda farokht karte huye dekha hai agar aap ise khareed lete to vufood ke samne pehna karte? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ”Yeh woh shakhs pehenta hai jiska aakhir mein koi hissa na ho.“.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَتَشٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: خَرَجَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ يُرِيدُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَتَى عَلَى عُطَارِدٍ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ، وَهُوَ يُقِيمُ حُلَّةً مِنْ حَرِيرٍ يَبِيعُهَا، فَأَتَى عُمَرُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، رَأَيْتُ عُطَارِدًا يَبِيعُ حُلَّتَهُ، فَاشْتَرِيهَا تَلْبَسْهَا إِذَا أَتَاكَ وُفُودُ النَّاسِ، فَقَالَ:" إِنَّمَا يَلْبَسُ الْحَرِيرَ مَنْ لَا خَلَاقَ لَهُ".
