Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5985
Yousuf bin Mahran (may Allah have mercy on him) said that once a man from Kufa was sitting with Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both). He started talking about Mukhtar al-Thaqafi. Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: If what you are saying is true, then I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying that before the Day of Judgment, thirty liars and deceivers will come.

یوسف بن مہران رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کے پاس کوفہ کا ایک آدمی بیٹھا ہوا تھا وہ مختار ثقفی کے متعلق بیان کرنے لگا سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے فرمایا: اگر ایسی ہی بات ہے جو تم کہہ رہے ہو تو میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ قیامت سے پہلے تیس دجال و کذاب لوگ آئیں گے۔
Yusuf bin Mahran rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ki ek martaba Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ke paas Kufa ka ek aadmi baitha hua tha woh Mukhtar Saqafi ke mutalliq bayan karne laga Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ne farmaya: Agar aisi hi baat hai jo tum keh rahe ho to maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ki qayamat se pehle tees Dajjal-o-Kazzab log aayenge.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ , أَنَّهُ كَانَ عِنْدَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ، فَجَعَلَ يُحَدِّثُهُ عَنِ الْمُخْتَارِ، فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ إِنْ كَانَ كَمَا تَقُولُ، فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:" إِنَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ السَّاعَةِ ثَلَاثِينَ دَجَّالًا كَذَّابًا".
