Chapter on paying Zakat al-Fitr for oneself and others who are obliged to provide for their dependents among their children, parents, mothers, and slaves purchased for trade or otherwise, and wives.
باب إخراج زكاة الفطر عن نفسه وغيره ممن تلزمه مؤنته من أولاده وآبائه وأمهاته ورقيقه الذين اشتراهم للتجارة أو لغيرها وزوجاته

Abu Sa’eed (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that at the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), we used to take out Sadaqatul-Fitr on behalf of every young and old, slave and free person, a Sa' of food, whether it be dates, cheese, barley, raisins, or dried yoghurt.

(٧٦٧٢) ابو سعید (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ جب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ہم تو ہم صدقہ فطر زکوۃ الفطر نکالا کرتے تھے ہر چھوٹے بڑے اور غلام وآزاد کی طرف سے نکالا کرتے تھے، گندم، پنیر، جو ، کھجور یا منقی میں سے ایک صاع کے بقدر۔
(7672) abu saeed (raz) farmate hain ki jab rasool allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) hum to hum sadqa fitr zakat alfitr nikala karte the har chhote bare aur gulam aazaad ki taraf se nikala karte the, gandum, paneer, jo, khajoor ya munqqi mein se ek sa'a ke baqadr.
'Araq bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that he heard Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) saying that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There is no Sadaqah (charity) in a slave except for Sadaqat-ul-Fitr (charity given at the end of Ramadan)."

(٧٦٧٣) عراک بن مالک (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے ابو ہریرہ (رض) سے سنا کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : غلام میں صدقہ نہیں ہے سوائے صدقہ فطر کے۔
7673 Urak bin Malik (RA) farmate hain keh maine Abu Hurairah (RA) se suna keh aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Ghulam mein sadaqah nahi hai siwaye sadaqah fitr ke.
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There is no Zakat on a man's horse or slave, except for the Sadaqat al-Fitr." Ibn Abi Harim narrated it, stating that there is no Zakat on a Muslim's slave or horse, except for the Sadaqat al-Fitr.

(٧٦٧٤) ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : آدمی پر اس کے گھوڑے اور غلام کی زکوۃ نہیں سوائے صدقہ فطر کے۔ ابن ابی حریم نے یہ بیان کیا کہ مسلمان پر اس کے غلام اور گھوڑے میں سوائے صدقہ فطر کے کوئی زکوۃ نہیں ۔
(7674) Abu Hurairah (RA) farmate hain keh Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Aadmi par us ke ghore aur ghulam ki zakat nahin siwae sadqah fitr ke. Ibn e Abi Harim ne ye bayan kya keh musalman par us ke ghulam aur ghore mein siwae sadqah fitr ke koi zakat nahin.
Nafi' ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) made it obligatory to give one Sa' of dates or barley as Sadaqat-ul-Fitr on behalf of every young and old, free and slave.

(٧٦٧٥) نافع ابن عمر (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ایک صاع کھجور اور جو میں سے صدقہ فطر ہر چھوٹے اور بڑے اور آزادو غلام کی طرف سے مقرر کیا۔
7675 Nafi ibn Umar (RA) se naql farmate hain ki Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne ek sa'a khajoor aur jau mein se sadaqah fitr har chhote aur bare aur azad o ghulam ki taraf se muqarrar kya.
(7676) Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) made it obligatory to give one Sa' of dates or barley as Sadaqatul Fitr on behalf of every young and old, free and slave. I have found the same regarding the child in my book, and Imam Bukhari in his Sahih narrated from Yahya, but instead of saying (Ala An) he said (Ala).

(٧٦٧٦) ابن عمر (رض) نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ آپ نے صدقہ فطر کھجور اور جو میں سے ہر ایک صاع چھوٹے بڑے اور آزاد و غلام کی طرف سے مقرر فرمایا۔
میں نے اپنی کتاب میں بچے کی طرف سے ایسے ہی پایا ہے اور امام بخاری نے اپنی صحیح میں یحییٰ سے روایت نقل کی ہے انھوں نے (عَلَی عن) کی جگہ (عَلَی) ذکر کیا ہے۔
7676 Ibn Umar (RA) Nabi Kareem (SAW) se naqal farmate hain ke aap ne sadqa fitr khajoor aur jau mein se har ek sa chhote bade aur azad o ghulam ki taraf se muqarrar farmaya. Main ne apni kitab mein bache ki taraf se aise hi paya hai aur Imam Bukhari ne apni sahih mein Yahya se riwayat naqal ki hai unhon ne (alai an) ki jaga (alai) zikar kiya hai.
Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) enjoined the payment of Zakat-ul-Fitr, a Sa' of dates or a Sa' of barley, on behalf of every young and old, free man and slave. So the people considered it equal to two mudds of wheat.
Abdullah bin Walid narrated it only from Ubaydullah, that it is on behalf of every young and old, free man and slave.

(٧٦٧٧) حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے صدقہ فطر کی ادائیگی کا حکم دیا، ہر چھوٹے ‘ بڑے اور آزاد و غلام کی طرف سے جو یا کھجور کا ایک صاع تو لوگوں نے اسے گندم کے دو مد کے برابر سمجھا۔
عبداللہ بن ولید صرف عبید اللہ کے حوالے سے نقل کرتے ہیں کہ یہ ہر چھوٹے بڑے اور آزادو غلام کی طرف سے ہے۔
7677 Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (RA) farmate hain ki Rasul Allah (SAW) ne sadqa fitr ki adaegi ka hukum diya har chhote bade aur azad o ghulam ki taraf se jo ya khajoor ka aik saa to logon ne use gandam ke do mud ke barabar samjha Abdullah bin Waleed sirf Ubaid Ullah ke hawale se naqal karte hain ki ye har chhote bade aur azad o ghulam ki taraf se hai
Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) made it obligatory to pay Sadaqatul-Fitr or Sadaqah of Ramadan, one Sa' of dates or barley, on every male or female, free or slave. So the people considered it equal to half a Sa' of wheat. And Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to give dates. So the people of Madinah gave barley in exchange for dates, and it used to be given on behalf of every young and old, even on behalf of the children of Nafi'.

(٧٦٧٨) حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے صدقہ فطر فرض کیا یا صدقہ رمضان فرمایا، ہر مذکر و مونث اور آزاد و غلام پر کھجور یا جو کا ایک صاع تو لوگوں نے اسے گندم کے آدھے صاع کے برابر سمجھا اور ابن عمر (رض) کھجور دیا کرتے تھے تو اہل مدینہ نے کھجور کے عوض جو دیے اور وہ ہر چھوٹے بڑے کی طرف سے دیا کرتے تھے حتیٰ کہ بنو نافع کی طرف سے بھی۔
(7678) Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (RA) farmate hain keh Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne Sadqa Fitr farz kiya ya Sadqa Ramadan farmaya, har muzakkar o monis aur azad o ghulam per khajoor ya jau ka ek sa'a to logon ne use gandam ke adhe sa'a ke barabar samjha aur Ibn Umar (RA) khajoor diya karte the to ahle Madina ne khajoor ke awaz jau diye aur wo har chhote bade ki taraf se diya karte the hatta keh bano Nafe ki taraf se bhi.
Musa bin Uqba narrated from Nafi' that Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to pay Sadaqat-ul-Fitr on behalf of every slave who was on his land or elsewhere, and on behalf of everyone under his care, young or old, and he also used to pay it on behalf of his wife's slaves.

(٧٦٨١) موسیٰ بن عقبہ نافع (رح) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ عبداللہ بن عمر (رض) صدقہ فطر ہر اس غلام کی طرف سے ادا کرتے تھے جو ان کی زمین میں تھا یا اس کے علاوہ اور ہر اس شخص کی طرف سے جو ان کی سرپرستی میں ہوتا چھوٹا ہوتا یا بڑا اور بیوی کے غلاموں کی طرف سے بھی ادا فرماتے۔
7681 Musa bin Uqba Nafi (rh) se naql farmate hain ki Abdullah bin Umar (rz) sadqa fitr har us ghulam ki taraf se ada karte thay jo un ki zameen mein tha ya uske alawa aur har us shakhs ki taraf se jo un ki sarparasti mein hota chhota hota ya bada aur biwi ke ghulamon ki taraf se bhi ada farmate.
Ja'far ibn Muhammad narrates from his father that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) made it obligatory for every slave and free person, male and female, whom they employed, to pay Sadaqatul Fitr.

(٧٦٨٢) جعفر بن محمد اپنے والد سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے صدقہ فطر ہر غلام وآزاد اور مذکر ومؤنث پر مقرر کیا جن سے وہ کام لیتے تھے۔
(7682) Jaffar bin Muhammad apne walid se naql farmate hain ki Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne sadqa fitr har ghulam o azad aur muzakkar o moannath par muqarrar kya jin se wo kaam lete the.
Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) fixed the wages of every laborer, whether small or big, free or slave, at one Sa' of dates or raisins per person.

(٧٦٨٣) حضرت علی (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ہر چھوٹے بڑے اور آزاد و غلام پر جن سے کام لیتے جو، کھجور یا منقیٰ کا ایک صاع ایک انسان کی طرف سے مقرر فرمایا۔
(7683) Hazrat Ali (RA) farmate hain ke Rasul Allah (SAW) ne har chhote bare aur azad o ghulam par jin se kaam lete jo, khajoor ya munqa ka ek saa ek insan ki taraf se muqarrar farmaya.
(7684) Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “Give half a Sa’ of wheat or one Sa’ of dates on behalf of those whose food and expenses are your responsibility.” ‘Abd al-A’la is weak now, but he was strong before.
Sufyan al-Thawri said: Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) had two young slaves, but he would not pay Zakat al-Fitr on their behalf.

(٧٦٨٤) حضرت علی (رض) فرماتے ہیں : جن کا نان ونفقہ تیرے ذمے ہے ان کی طرف سے آدھا صاع گندم یا ایک صاع کھجور سے ادا کرو۔ عبد الاعلیٰ غیر قوی ہے مگر اس سے پہلے قوی تھے۔
سفیان ثوری فرماتے ہیں کہ ابن عمر (رض) کے دو مکاتب غلام تھے ، مگر وہ ان کی طرف سے صدقہ فطر نہیں دیتے تھے۔
(7684) Hazrat Ali (RA) farmate hain : Jin ka nan o nafaqa tere zimme hai un ki taraf se adha sa gandum ya ek sa khajoor se ada karo. Abdul Aala ghair qawi hai magar is se pehle qawi the.
Sufyan Sauri farmate hain ki Ibn Umar (RA) ke do makatib ghulam the, magar woh un ki taraf se sadaqa fitr nahi dete the.
(7685) Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar (RA): Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) enjoined the payment of one Sa' of dates or one Sa' of barley as Zakat-ul-Fitr on every Muslim, slave or free, male or female, young or old, and he ordered that it be paid before the people went out to offer the `Eid prayer.
