Chapter on how Zakat of palm trees and grapes is taken.
باب كيف تؤخذ زكاة النخل والعنب
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 7431
'Atab bin Usayd (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to send assessors who would estimate the produce of dates and grapes.
In a narration of Imam Shafi'i, it is stated that he (the Prophet) would send those who would estimate dates and grapes for the people.

(٧٤٣١) عتاب بن اسید (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اندازہ لگانے والوں کو بھیجتے، جو ان کے انگوروں اور پھلوں کا اندازہ لگائے۔
امام شافعی کی ایک روایت میں ہے کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) انھیں بھیجا کرتے تھے جو لوگوں کے انگوروں اور پھلوں کا اندازہ لگاتے۔
(7431) Atab bin Asid (RA) farmate hain ki Rasul Allah (SAW) andaza lagane walon ko bhejte, jo un ke anguron aur phalon ka andaza lagaye.
Imam Shafi ki aik riwayat mein hai ki aap (SAW) unhen bheja karte the jo logon ke anguron aur phalon ka andaza lagate.
'Atab ibn Asid (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Grapes should be assessed in the same way as dates are assessed, and their zakat should be taken from the dried ones, just as the zakat of dates is taken."

(٧٤٣٢) عتاب بن اسید (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : انگوروں کا اندازہ ایسے لگایا جائے جیسے کھجور کا اندازہ لگایا جاتا ہے اور اس کی زکوۃ منقی سے لی جائے جس طرح کھجور کی زکوۃ لی جاتی ہے۔
7432 Atab bin Asid (RA) farmate hain ki Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Anguron ka andaza aise lagaya jaye jaise khajoor ka andaza lagaya jata hai aur iski zakat munqqi se li jaye jis tarah khajoor ki zakat li jati hai.
Saeed bin Musayyab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered Utab bin Asid to estimate the value of grapes just as the value of dates is estimated. Then he said: Its Zakat should be paid from the finest quality, just as the Zakat of dates is paid from the best quality. He (Saeed) said: This is the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) regarding dates and grapes.

(٧٤٣٤) سعید بن مسیب (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے عتاب بن اسید کو حکم دیا کہ وہ انگوروں کا اندازہ بھی ایسے لگائیں جس طرح کھجور کا اندازہ لگایا جاتا ہے۔ پھر فرمایا : اس کی زکوۃ منقیٰ سے ادا کر جس طرح کھجور کی زکوۃ چھو ہارے سے ادا کی جاتی ہے۔ انھوں نے کہا : یہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی کھجوروں اور انگوروں میں سنت ہے۔
7434 Saeed bin Musayyab (RA) farmate hain ke Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne Utab bin Usayd ko hukm diya ke woh anguron ka andaza bhi aise lagayen jis tarah khajoor ka andaza lagaya jata hai. Phir farmaya: Iski zakat minqa se ada kar jis tarah khajoor ki zakat chho hare se ada ki jati hai. Unhon ne kaha: Yeh Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki khajuron aur anguron mein sunnat hai.
Saeed bin Musayyab (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “It has become a Sunnah (established practice) that Zakah is not to be taken from dates and grapes until it reaches five Wasqs.” Zuhri said: “I do not know of anything whose measure is taken except dates and grapes.”

(٧٤٣٥) سعید بن مسیب (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ سنت جاری ہوچکی کہ کھجور اور انگور سے زکوۃ وصول نہ کی جائے، یہاں تک کہ اس کا اندازہ پانچ وسق نہ ہوجائے۔ زہری کہتے ہیں : میں نے نہیں جانا کہ کسی چیز کا اندازہ لگایا جائے سوائے کھجور اور انگور کے۔
Saeed bin Musayyab (Razi Allah Anhu) farmate hain ke sunnat jari ho chuki ke khajoor aur angoor se zakat wasool na ki jaye, yahan tak ke is ka andaza panch wasq na ho jaye. Zuhri kahte hain : main ne nahi jana ke kisi cheez ka andaza lagaya jaye siwaye khajoor aur angoor ke.
