Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "O Umar! You are a strong man, do not harm the weak. When you intend to touch the Black Stone, if you find space, then touch it, otherwise face it and say Takbir."

(٩٢٦١) عمر بن خطاب (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اے عمر ! تو قوی آدمی ہے کمزور کو تکلیف نہ دے، جب تو حجر اسود کو چھونا چاہے تو اگر تو جگہ خالی ہو تو استلام کرلے وگرنہ اس کی طرف متوجہ ہو اور تکبیر کہہ۔
9261 Umar bin Khattab (RA) farmate hain ke Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : Aye Umar! To qawi aadmi hai kamzor ko takleef na de, jab tu Hajar-e-Aswad ko chhuna chahe to agar tu jagah khali ho to istlam karle warna us ki taraf mutawajjah ho aur takbeer kah.
Abu Ya'fur narrates that Hajjaj appointed an old man from the tribe of Khuzaimah as his deputy in Makkah. He (the old man) used to say that Umar (RA) was a harsh man and used to push people at the corner (of the Ka'bah). So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to him: “O Umar! Do not push people at the corner, you are hurting the weak. If you find space, then touch it (the corner), otherwise say Takbir and move on.”

(٩٢٦٢) ابویعفور فرماتے ہیں کہ خزیمہ کے ایک بزرگ کو حجاج نے مکہ پر نائب مقرر کیا تھا۔ اس نے کہا کہ عمر (رض) سخت آدمی تھے اور رکن پر مزاحمت کرتے تھے تو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ان کو کہا : اے عمر ! رکن کے پاس مزاحمت نہ کر، تو ضعیف کو تکلیف دیتا ہے۔ اگر تو خالی جگہ دیکھے تو استلام کر ، وگرنہ تکبیر کہہ اور چلتا جا۔
(9262) abuyafoor farmate hain ki khzeem ke ek buzurg ko hajaja ne makkah per nayab muqarrar kiya tha. us ne kaha ki umar (rz) sakht aadmi the aur rukn per muzahmat karte the to rasool allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne un ko kaha : aye umar ! rukn ke pass muzahmat na kar, tu zaeef ko takleef deta hai. agar tu khali jagah dekhe to istalaam kar , warna takbeer kah aur chalta ja.
'Urwah narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to Abdur Rahman bin Auf (may Allah be pleased with him) on the occasion of the Farewell Pilgrimage: "O Abu Muhammad! How do you do it?" He replied: "Sometimes I touch (the Black Stone) and sometimes I leave it." You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "You do right."
Imam Shafi'i (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I think that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to Abdur Rahman: 'You did right.' He praised him because he touched the Black Stone when there was no crowd and left it when there was a crowd."

(٩٢٦٣) عروہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے عبدالرحمن بن عوف (رض) کو حجۃ الوداع کے موقع پر فرمایا : اے ابو محمد ! تو کیسے کرتا ہے ؟ تو انھوں نے عرض کیا : استلام بھی کرلیتا ہوں اور کبھی چھوڑ بھی دیتا ہوں ۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تو درست کرتا ہے۔
امام شافعی (رض) فرماتی ہیں : میرا گمان ہے کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے عبدالرحمن سے کہا : تو نے درست کیا، ان کی تعریف اس لیے کی کہ انھوں نے بھیڑ کے علاوہ استلام کیا اور بھیڑ میں چھوڑ دیا۔
9263 Urwa farmate hain ki Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne Abdul Rahman bin Auf (RA) ko Hajjat al Wida ke mauke par farmaya: Aye Abu Muhammad! Tu kaise karta hai? To unhon ne arz kiya: Istelam bhi kar leta hun aur kabhi chhor bhi deta hun. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Tu durust karta hai.
Imam Shafi (RA) farmate hain: Mera gumaan hai ki Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne Abdul Rahman se kaha: Tu ne durust kiya, un ki tareef is liye ki kyunki unhon ne bheer ke ilawa istelam kiya aur bheer mein chhor diya.
Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "You have been commanded to perform Tawaf, so if you are able to touch it (the Black Stone), then do so."

(٩٢٦٥) ابن عباس (رض) فرماتے ہیں : تمہیں طواف کرنے کا حکم دیا گیا ہے، اگر میسر آئے تو استلام کرلو۔
(9265) Ibn Abbas (RA) farmate hain : tumhein tawaf karne ka hukum diya gaya hai, agar muyassar aaye to istelam karlo.
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: When you are level with it, say the Takbir (Allahu Akbar), supplicate, and send blessings upon Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

(٩٢٦٦) ابن عباس (رض) فرماتے ہیں : جب تو اس کے برابر ہوجائے تو تکبیر کہہ ، دعا مانگ اور محمد (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) پر درود پڑھ۔
9266 Ibn Abbas (RA) farmate hain : jab tu uske barabar hojae to takbeer keh, dua maang aur Muhammad (SAW) par durood parh.
Mujaahid said: I never saw Ibn Umar pushing and shoving to reach the Black Stone, except once when I saw him participating in the pushing and shoving until his nose became red and swollen and started to bleed.

(٩٢٦٧) مجاہد کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے ابن عمر (رض) کو حجر اسود پر بھیڑ کرتے کبھی نہیں دیکھا ، ایک مرتبہ دیکھا تھا انھوں نے بھیڑ میں حصہ لیا حتیٰ کہ ناک سرخ ہو کر سوج گیا اور خون بہنے لگا۔
9267 Mujahid kahte hain ki maine Ibn Umar (RA) ko Hajar Aswad par bheer karte kabhi nahin dekha, ek martaba dekha tha unhon ne bheer mein hissa liya hatta ki naak surkh ho kar sooj gaya aur khoon behne laga.
(9268) Manbuz bin Abi Sulaiman reported that he was with his mother, Ummul Momineen Sayyidah Aisha (ra) when a slave girl came to her and said, "O Mother of the Believers, I performed Tawaf of the Ka'bah but I only touched the Yemen corner two or three times." Aisha (ra) said, "May Allah bless you! Were you pushing and shoving with men? Why didn't you just say Takbir and pass by?"
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Saad bin Abi Waqas (ra) that he used to say to women, "When it is easy (and there is no crowd), then touch and do the Istilam. Otherwise, just say Takbir and pass by."

(٩٢٦٨) منبوذ بن ابی سلیمان فرماتے ہیں کہ ان کی والدہ ام المومنین سیدہ عائشہ (رض) کے پاس تھیں کہ ان کی ایک غلام عورت آئی اور کہنے لگی : اے ام المومنین ! میں نے بیت اللہ کے ساتھ چکر لگائے ہیں اور رکن کا استلام صرف دو مرتبہ کیا ہے یا تین مرتبہ تو انھوں نے کہا : اللہ تیرا بھلا کرے تو مردوں کے ساتھ دھکم پیل کرتی رہی ہے ؟ تو تکبیر کہہ کر کیوں نہیں گزرتی گئی۔
سیدنا سعد بن ابی وقاص (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ وہ ان عورتوں سے کہتے تھے، جب انھیں لوگوں سے آسانی ہو (بھیڑ نہ ہو) تو وہ استلام کرلیں ، وگرنہ تکبیر کہیں اور گزر جائیں۔
9268 Manboz bin Abi Sulaiman farmate hain ki un ki walida Umm-ul-Momineen Sayyidah Ayesha (RA) ke paas thin ki un ki ek ghulam aurat aayi aur kahne lagi : Aye Umm-ul-Momineen! Maine Baitullah ke sath chakkar lagaye hain aur Rukn ka istalaam sirf do martaba kiya hai ya teen martaba to unhon ne kaha : Allah tera bhala kare to mardon ke sath dhakam pel karti rahi hai? To takbeer kah kar kyun nahi guzar gayi.
Sayyiduna Saad bin Abi Waqqas (RA) se riwayat hai ki woh un auraton se kahte the, jab unhen logon se aasani ho (bheed na ho) to woh istalaam kar len, warna takbeer kahen aur guzar jayen.
