Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Did you not see your people when they built the Ka'bah? They reduced it from the foundations of Abraham." I said: "O Messenger of Allah! Why did you not return it to the foundations of Abraham?" He said: "Were it not for the closeness of your people to disbelief, I would have done so." So Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "If Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) heard this from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), then I think that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) left the two pillars near the Stone because these foundations are not on the foundations of Abraham."

(٩٣١٣) سیدہ عائشہ (رض) فرماتی ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : کیا تو نے اپنی قوم کو نہیں دیکھا جب انھوں نے کعبہ بنایا تو ابراہیم کی بنیادوں سے کم کردیا ، میں نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! آپ اسے ابراہیم کی بنیادوں پر کیوں نہیں لوٹا دیتے تو آپ نے فرمایا : اگر تیری قوم کا کفر کے ساتھ قریبی دور نہ ہوتا تو میں ایسا کردیتا تو عبداللہ بن عمر (رض) فرماتے ہیں : اگر عائشہ (رض) نے یہ بات نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے سنی ہے تو پھر میں سمجھتا ہوں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے پتھر کے قریب والے دو رکنوں کو چھونا اسی وجہ سے چھوڑا ہے کہ یہ قواعد ابراہیم پر نہیں۔
(9313) Syeda Ayesha (RA) farmati hain keh Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : kya tune apni qaum ko nahi dekha jab unhon ne Kaaba banaya to Ibrahim ki bunyadon se kam kardiya, maine kaha : aye Allah ke Rasool ! aap ise Ibrahim ki bunyadon par kyun nahi lauta dete to aap ne farmaya : agar teri qaum ka kufr ke sath qareebi daur na hota to main aisa karta to Abdullah bin Umar (RA) farmate hain : agar Ayesha (RA) ne yeh baat Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se suni hai to phir main samjhta hun keh Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne pathar ke qareeb wale do ruknon ko chhona isi wajah se chhora hai keh yeh qawaid Ibrahim par nahi.
Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was informed of the statement of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that a part of the wall was included in the Ka'bah. Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: By Allah! I think that if Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) heard this from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) left the touching of both of them only because they were not part of the foundations of the Ka'bah, and people performed Tawaf behind this wall for the same reason.

(٩٣١٤) ابن عمر (رض) کو سیدہ عائشہ (رض) کے اس قول کی خبر دی گئی کہ منڈیر کا بعض حصہ بیت اللہ میں داخل ہے تو ابن عمر (رض) نے فرمایا : اللہ کی قسم ! میں گمان کرتا ہوں اگر عائشہ (رض) نے یہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے سنا ہے تو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ان دونوں کا استلام صرف اسی وجہ سے چھوڑا ہے کہ وہ بیت اللہ کی بنیادوں پر نہیں اور لوگوں نے اسی وجہ سے اس منڈیر کے پیچھے سے طواف کیا تھا۔
9314 Ibn Umar (RA) ko Sayyida Ayesha (RA) ke is qaul ki khabar di gai keh mundair ka baaz hissa Baitullah mein dakhil hai to Ibn Umar (RA) ne farmaya: Allah ki qasam! mein gumaan karta hun agar Ayesha (RA) ne yeh Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se suna hai to Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne in donon ka istalaam sirf isi wajah se chhora hai keh woh Baitullah ki bunyadon par nahin aur logon ne isi wajah se is mundair ke peeche se tawaf kiya tha.
Sayyida Aisha (RA) said: I asked the Messenger of Allah (PBUH), "Is the wall (Hateem) part of the Ka'bah?" He (PBUH) replied, "Yes." I asked, "Why didn't they include it within the Ka'bah?" He (PBUH) replied, "Your people ran short of funds." I said, "Why is its door so high?" He (PBUH) replied, "Your people did that so they could allow whomever they wanted to enter and prevent whomever they wanted. If it were not for the fact that your people had recently abandoned disbelief and I feared their hearts might incline towards evil, I would have included the Hateem within the Ka'bah and brought its door down to the ground."

(٩٣١٥) سیدہ عائشہ (رض) فرماتی ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے پوچھا کہ کیا دیوار بیت اللہ میں سے ہے ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ہاں ! میں نے کہا : کیا وجہ ہے انھوں نے اسے بیت اللہ میں داخل نہیں کیا ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تیری قوم کے پاس خرچہ کم ہوگیا تھا، میں نے کہا : کیا وجہ ہے کہ اس کا دروازہ اونچا ہے ؟ آپ نے فرمایا : تیری قوم نے یہ اس لیے کیا ہے تاکہ جس کو چاہیں اندر داخل ہونے دیں اور جس کو چاہیں روک لیں اور اگر تیری قوم جاہلیت کے ساتھ تازہ تعلق والی نہ ہوتی اور ان کے دلوں میں برائی کا خوف نہ ہوتا تو میرا خیال تھا کہ دیوارکو بیت اللہ میں داخل کردیا جائے اور اس کا دروازہ زمین کے ساتھ لگا دیا جائے۔
(9315) Syeda Ayesha (RA) farmati hain keh maine Rasulullah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se poocha keh kya deewar Baitullah mein se hai? Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Haan! Maine kaha: Kya wajah hai unhon ne isse Baitullah mein dakhil nahin kiya? Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Teri qaum ke paas kharcha kam hogaya tha, maine kaha: Kya wajah hai keh iska darwaza ooncha hai? Aap ne farmaya: Teri qaum ne yeh is liye kiya hai taake jis ko chahein andar dakhil hone dein aur jis ko chahein rok lein aur agar teri qaum jahiliyat ke sath taza taluq wali na hoti aur un ke dilon mein burai ka khauf na hota to mera khayal tha keh deewar ko Baitullah mein dakhil kardiya jaye aur iska darwaza zameen ke sath laga diya jaye.
Abu Qaza’a narrated that ‘Abdul-Malik bin Marwan, while performing Tawaf of the Ka’bah, said, “May Allah destroy Ibn Zubair! He lies about the Mother of the Believers. He claims that he heard her say that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, 'If it were not for the fact that your people are close to disbelief, I would have demolished the Ka’bah and rebuilt it with the Hateem included.' Your people have diminished its structure.” Harith bin Abdullah bin Abi Rabi’ah said, “O Commander of the Believers! Do not say that. I heard the Mother of the Believers say this.” He replied, “I wish I had heard this before I dropped it. I would have left it as Ibn Zubair had built it.”
Imam Shafi’i said, “I heard many scholars from Quraysh say that about six cubits (nine feet) of the Ka’bah’s wall were left out.”
Imam Shafi’i said, “I have heard several scholars from Quraysh mention that the northern part of the Ka’bah was left out by six cubits.”

(٩٣١٦) ابو قزعہ فرماتے ہیں کہ عبدالملک بن مروان نے بیت اللہ کا طواف کرتے ہوئے کہا : اللہ تعالیٰ ابن زبیر کو ہلاک کرے وہ ام المومنین پر جھوٹ بولتا ہے، کہتا ہے کہ میں نے ان کو یہ کہتے ہوئے سنا کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اگر تیری قوم کفر کے ساتھ قریبی دور والی نہ ہوتی تو میں بیت اللہ کو توڑ کر دیوار اس میں شامل کردیتا ، تیری قوم نے عمارت میں کمی کردی ہے تو حارث بن عبداللہ بن ابی ربیعہ نے کہا : اے امیرالمومنین ! ایسا نہ کہیں میں نے ام المومنین کو یہ بات بیان کرتے ہوئے سنا ہے تو وہ کہنے لگے : کاش میں یہ بات اس کو گرانے سے پہلے سن لیتا تو اسے ابن زبیر کی بنا پر ہی چھوڑ دیتا۔
امام شافعی (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے قریش کے بہت سے اہل علم سے یہ بات سنی ہے کہ کعبہ کو تقریباً چھ ذراع
(٩) نو فٹ دیوار تک چھوڑا گیا ہے۔
امام شافعی (رض) فرماتے ہیں : میں نے متعدد قریش کے اہل علم کو اس بات کا تذکرہ کرتے سنا کہ کعبہ کا شمالی حصہ چھ ذراع چھوڑ دیا گیا ہے۔
(9316) Abu Qaza farmate hain ki Abdulmalik bin Marwan ne Baitullah ka tawaf karte huye kaha : Allah Taala Ibn Zubair ko halak kare woh Ummulmomineen par jhoot bolta hai, kehta hai ki maine un ko ye kehte huye suna ki Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : Agar teri qaum kufr ke sath qareebi door wali na hoti to main Baitullah ko tod kar deewar is mein shamil kar deta, teri qaum ne imarat mein kami kardi hai to Haris bin Abdullah bin Abi Rabee'ah ne kaha : Aye Amir-ul-momineen! Aisa na kahin maine Ummulmomineen ko ye baat bayan karte huye suna hai to woh kehne lage : Kash main ye baat is ko girane se pehle sun leta to ise Ibn Zubair ki bina par hi chhod deta.
Imam Shafi (Razi Allah Anhu) farmate hain ki maine Quresh ke bahut se ahle ilm se ye baat suni hai ki Kaaba ko taqreeban chhe zarah
(9) nau foot deewar tak chhoda gaya hai.
Imam Shafi (Razi Allah Anhu) farmate hain : maine muta'adid Quresh ke ahle ilm ko is baat ka tazkira karte suna ki Kaaba ka shumali hissa chhe zarah chhod diya gaya hai.
Sayyida Aisha (RA) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: If your people were not close to the era of polytheism, I would have demolished the Kaaba and leveled it to the ground, and I would have made two doors for it, one in the east and one in the west, and I would have included in it the six cubits of the wall that the Quraysh had left out when they built it.

(٩٣١٧) سیدہ عائشہ (رض) فرماتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اگر تیری قوم شرک کے ساتھ قریبی دور والی نہ ہوتی تو میں کعبہ کو گر ١ دیتا اور اس کو زمین کے ساتھ ملا دیتا اور اس کے دو دروازے مشرقی اور مغربی جانب بناتا اور دیوار تک کے چھ ذراع میں اس میں داخل کردیتا کیوں کہ قریش نے اس کو بناتے ہوئے مختصر کردیا تھا۔

Sayyida Aisha (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: If your people were not close to the days of Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic period of ignorance), I would have ordered the Ka'bah to be demolished and rebuilt. I would have included the part which was left out, brought it down to the level of the ground, and made two doors for it, one in the east and one in the west. But I cannot do so, for they have recently left their Jahiliyyah. I would have raised its foundation to the level of the foundation laid by Ibrahim (Abraham).

(٩٣١٨) سیدہ عائشہ (رض) فرماتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اگر تیری قوم جاہلیت کے ساتھ قریبی دور والی نہ ہوتی تو میں بیت اللہ کے بارے میں حکم دیتا ، اس کو گرایا جاتا اور جو حصہ اس سے خارج کیا گیا اس کو اس میں داخل کیا جاتا اور میں اس کو زمین کے ساتھ ملا دیتا اور دو دروازے رکھتا ایک مشرقی اور ایک مغربی ، وہ اس کو تعمیر کرنے سے عاجز آگئے تھے تو میں اس کو ابراہیم کی بنیادوں تک پہنچا دیتا۔
(9318) Syeda Ayesha (RA) farmati hain keh Rasool Allah (SAW) ne farmaya: Agar teri qaum jahiliyat ke sath qareebi daur wali na hoti to main Baitullah ke baare mein hukum deta, is ko giraya jata aur jo hissa is se kharij kia gaya is ko is mein dakhil kia jata aur main is ko zameen ke sath mila deta aur do darwaze rakhta ek mashriqi aur ek maghribi, woh is ko taamir karne se aajiz aa gaye the to main is ko Ibrahim ki bunyadon tak pahuncha deta.
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "It (i.e., Hateem) is part of the House (Ka'bah), for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed Tawaf around the House behind it." And Allah, the Exalted, has said: "And circumambulate the Ancient House."

(٩٣١٩) ابن عباس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ وہ رکاوٹ بیت اللہ میں سے ہے کیوں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے بیت اللہ کا طواف اس کے پیچھے سے کیا ہے اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا ہے اور وہ پرانے گھر کا طواف کریں۔
