Chapter on Men Following Another Man in Prayer and They Have Boys and Women with Them
باب الرجال يأتمون بالرجل ومعهم صبيان ونساء
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 5161
(5161) (a) Abdullah bin Mas'ud narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Stand near me, those of you who are wise, then those who are like young men." He said this three times and then said: "Avoid making noise in the marketplaces."
(b) In the narration of Muhammad, who narrated from the Prophet (ﷺ): "Stand near me, those of you who are wise, then those who are like young men, then those who are like young men, and do not differ, for indeed your hearts will differ. Avoid making noise in the marketplaces."

(٥١٦١) (الف) عبداللہ بن مسعود فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : میرے قریب عقل مند کھڑے ہو پھر وہ جوان جیسے ہوں تین مرتبہ فرمایا اور فرمایا : بازاروں میں شور کرنے سے بچو۔
(ب) محمد کی روایت میں ہے جو نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ میرے قریب وہ کھڑے ہوں جو عقل والے ہوں، پھر جوان جیسے ہوں پھر وہ جوان جیسے ہوں اور تم اختلاف نہ کرو ورنہ تمہارے دلوں میں اختلاف پڑجائے گا۔ بازاروں میں شور مچانے سے بچو۔
(5161) (alif) Abdullah bin Masood farmate hain keh Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : mere qareeb aql mand kharay ho phir wo jawan jaise hon teen martaba farmaya aur farmaya : bazaron mein shor karne se bacho.
(be) Muhammad ki riwayat mein hai jo Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se naql farmate hain keh mere qareeb wo kharay hon jo aql wale hon, phir jawan jaise hon phir wo jawan jaise hon aur tum ikhtilaf na karo warna tumhare dilon mein ikhtilaf par jaye ga. Bazaron mein shor machane se bacho.
Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to touch our shoulders in prayer and say: "Do not differ (in rows), for your hearts will differ. And let those who are intelligent among you stand behind me, then those who are like them, then those who are like them."

(٥١٦٢) ابو مسعود انصاری فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نماز میں ہمارے کندھوں کو چھوتے اور فرماتے : تم اختلاف نہ کرو، ورنہ تمہارے دلوں میں اختلاف پیدا ہوجائے گا اور میرے پیچھے تمہارے عقل مند لوگ کھڑے ہوں پھر وہ جو ان جیسے ہوں، پھر وہ جو ان جیسے ہوں۔
(5162) Abu Masud Ansari farmate hain ki Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) namaz mein hamare kandhon ko chhote aur farmate: Tum ikhtilaf na karo, warna tumhare dilon mein ikhtilaf paida ho jaye ga aur mere peeche tumhare aqal mand log khare hon phir wo jo un jaise hon, phir wo jo un jaise hon.
Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) loved that the Muhajireen (migrants) and the Ansar (helpers) be near him in prayer so that they could learn the prayer from him.

(٥١٦٣) انس بن مالک (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) پسند کرتے تھے کہ نماز میں آپ کے قریب مہاجرین اور انصار ہوں تاکہ وہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے نماز سیکھ سکیں۔
(5163) Anas bin Malik (RA) farmate hain ki Rasul Allah (SAW) pasand karte thay ki namaz mein aap ke qareeb muhajireen aur ansaar hon take woh aap (SAW) se namaz seekh saken.
(5165) Abu Malik Ash'ari said: Shall I not describe to you the prayer of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)? Then he said: When the prayer was established, the men would form a row, then the children would form a row behind them, then he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would lead them in prayer. When he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would prostrate and raise his head from prostration, he would say “Allahu Akbar”, and when he would stand up from two rak'ahs, he would say “Allahu Akbar”, then he would say salam to the right and left. Then he said: This is how the prayer is. Abd al-A'la said: I think he meant: This is how the prayer of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is.

(٥١٦٥) ابو مالک اشعری فرماتے ہیں : کیا میں تمہیں نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی نماز بیان نہ کروں۔ پھر فرمایا : نماز کی اقامت ہوجاتی تو مرد حضرات صف بنا لیتے، ان کے بعد بچے صف بناتے، پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ان کو نماز پڑھاتے۔ جب آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سجدہ کرتے اور سجدے سے سر اٹھاتے تو ” اللہ اکبر “ کہتے اور جب دو رکعات سے کھڑے ہوتے تو ” اللہ اکبر “ کہتے، پھر دائیں اور بائیں سلام پھیرتے۔ پھر فرماتے : نماز اس طرح ہے۔ عبد الاعلیٰ کہتے ہیں : میرا گمان ہے کہ وہ کہتے : یہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی نماز ہے۔
(5165) Abu Malik Ashari farmate hain : kia main tumhen Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki namaz bayan na karoon. Phir farmaya : namaz ki iqamat hojati to mard hazrat saff bana lete, un ke baad bache saff banate, phir Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) un ko namaz parhate. Jab Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) Sajdah karte aur sajde se sar uthate to "Allahu Akbar" kahte aur jab do rakat se kharay hote to "Allahu Akbar" kahte, phir dayen aur bayen salam phirte. Phir farmate : namaz is tarah hai. Abd ul Alaa kahte hain : mera gumaan hai ke wo kahte : ye Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki namaz hai.
Abu Malik Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Let the first row in prayer be for men, then children, then women."

(٥١٦٦) ابو مالک اشعری (رض) نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ نماز میں پہلے مردوں کی صف ہو، پھر بچے، پھر عورتیں۔
(5166) Abu Malik Ashari (RA) Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se naqal farmate hain ki namaz mein pehle mardon ki saf ho, phir bache, phir auratain.
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best rows for men are the first rows, and the worst are the last; and the worst rows for women are the first, and the best are the last."

(٥١٦٧) ابوہریرہ (رض) نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : مردوں کی بہترین صف پہلی اور آخری صف بد ترین ہے اور عورتوں کی بدترین صف پہلی اور بہترین صف آخری ہے۔
(5167) Abu Hurairah (RA) Nabi (SAW) se naql farmate hain ke Rasul Allah (SAW) ne farmaya: mardon ki behtarin saf pehli aur aakhri saf bad tareen hai aur aurton ki bad tareen saf pehli aur behtarin saf aakhri hai.
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "The best rows for men are the first and the worst are the last, and the best rows for women are the last and the worst are the first."

(٥١٦٨) ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : مردوں کی بہترین صف پہلی اور بد ترین صف آخری ہے اور عورتوں کی بہترین صف آخری اور بد ترین صف پہلی ہے۔
(5168) Abu Hurairah (RA) farmate hain keh Rasul Allah (SAW) ne farmaya: mardon ki behtarin saf pehli aur bad tarin saf aakhri hai aur aurton ki behtarin saf aakhri aur bad tarin saf pehli hai.
