Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If they knew or you knew what (great) reward there is in the first row, you would cast lots for it.

(٥١٩٢) ابوہریرہ (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اگر وہ جان لیں یا تم جان لو جو پہلی صف میں اجرو ثواب ہے تو تم قرعہ کے ذریعے جگہ حاصل کرو۔
(5192) Abu Hurairah (RA) se riwayat hai ki aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Agar woh jaan lein ya tum jaan lo jo pehli saf mein ajro sawab hai to tum qur'a ke zariye jagah hasil karo.
Narrated by Ubayy bin Ka'b (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) led us in the Fajr (morning) prayer, and when he finished with the Salam (prayer ending), he looked at the faces of the people and said, "Is so-and-so present?" They said, "Yes." He (peace be upon him) said, "The Fajr and 'Isha' (night) prayers are the most burdensome upon the hypocrites. If they knew what reward they contain, they would come to them even if they had to crawl. The first row is like the row of angels, and if you knew the reward for it, you would hasten to it. And a man's prayer in congregation is better than his prayer alone, and the prayer of two men is better than the prayer of one man, and the more they are, the more beloved they are to Allah."

(٥١٩٣) ابی بن کعب (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ہمیں صبح کی نماز پڑھائی، جب سلام پھیرا تو قوم کے چہروں کو دیکھا۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے پوچھا : کیا فلاں حاضر ہے ؟ انھوں نے کہا : ہاں۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : صبح اور عشا کی نماز منافقین پر بہت بھاری ہے۔ اگر وہ جان لیں جو ان میں اجرو ثواب ہے تو اگر ان کو گھٹنوں کے بل چل کر آنا پڑے تو ضرور آئیں اور پہلی صف فرشتوں کی صف کے طرح ہے، اگر تم جان لو کہ اس میں کیا ثواب ہے تو تم ضرور جلدی کرو اور آدمی کا دوسرے کے ساتھ مل کر نماز پڑھنا اکیلے کی نماز سے افضل ہے اور دو آدمیوں کے ساتھ مل کر نماز پڑھنا یہ بہتر ہے ایک آدمی کے ساتھ مل کر نماز پڑھنے سے اور جتنے زیادہ ہوں وہ اللہ کو زیادہ محبوب ہے۔
(5193) Ubay bin Kaab (Razi Allahu Anhu) farmate hain ki aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne hamen subah ki namaz parhayi, jab salam phera to qaum ke chehron ko dekha. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne poocha: kya falan hazir hai? Unhon ne kaha: haan. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: subah aur isha ki namaz munafiqeen par bahut bhari hai. Agar wo jaan len jo in mein ajro sawab hai to agar unko ghutnon ke bal chal kar aana pade to zaroor aaen aur pehli saf farishton ki saf ke tarah hai, agar tum jaan lo ki is mein kya sawab hai to tum zaroor jaldi karo aur aadmi ka doosre ke sath mil kar namaz padhna akele ki namaz se afzal hai aur do aadmiyon ke sath mil kar namaz padhna ye behtar hai ek aadmi ke sath mil kar namaz padhne se aur jitne zyada hon wo Allah ko zyada mahboob hain.
Arabs bin Sariya narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Pray in the first row.” He said this three times. “And whoever joins it,” meaning the second row, “should pray in it.” He said this once.

(٥١٩٤) عرباض بن ساریہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : وہ پہلی صف میں نماز پڑھے، یہ تین مرتبہ فرمایا اور جو اس کے ساتھ ملنے والی ہے، یعنی دوسری میں نماز پڑھے، ایک مرتبہ فرمایا۔
Arabaz bin Sariya se riwayat hai ki Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : woh pehli saf mein namaz parhe, yeh teen martaba farmaya aur jo uske sath milne wali hai, yani dusri mein namaz parhe, ek martaba farmaya.
Arabadh bin Sariyah reported from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) that he (ﷺ) would ask forgiveness three times for the first row and once for the second row.

(٥١٩٥) عرباض بن ساریہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے پہلی صف کے لیے تین مرتبہ استغفار کی اور دوسری صف کے لیے ایک مرتبہ۔
(5195) arabaaz bin saariya rasool allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se naql farmate hain ki aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne pehli saf ke liye teen martaba istighfar ki aur dusri saf ke liye ek martaba.
Bara' ibn 'Azib narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would come to us when we stood up for prayer, and he would touch our shoulders and chests and say, "Do not differ, for your hearts will differ. Allah sends down mercy upon those in the first row, and the angels pray for mercy for them." Or he said, "For those in the front rows."

(٥١٩٦) برأ بن عازب نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ہمارے پاس آتے، جب ہم نماز کے لیے کھڑے ہوتے تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ہمارے کندھوں اور سینوں کو ہاتھ لگاتے اور فرماتے : تم اختلاف مت کرو ورنہ تمہارے دلوں میں اختلاف پڑجائے گا۔ پہلی صف والوں کے لیے اللہ رحمت نازل کرتا ہے اور فرشتے رحمت کی دعا کرتے ہیں یا فرمایا : پہلی صفوں کے لیے۔
Bara bin Aazib Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se naqal farmate hain ke Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) hamare paas aate, jab hum namaz ke liye kharay hote to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) hamare kandhon aur seeno ko hath lagate aur farmate: Tum ikhtilaf mat karo warna tumhare dilon mein ikhtilaf pad jayega. Pehli saf walon ke liye Allah rehmat nazil karta hai aur farishtey rehmat ki dua karte hain ya farmaya: Pehli safo ke liye.
