Mughirah bin Shubah narrated that he went with the Prophet (ﷺ) on the expedition to Tabuk. When it was near dawn, the Prophet (ﷺ) went aside and I went aside. He (ﷺ) then sat on his mount and I brought a jug of water. When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came, he ordered me and I poured water from the jug onto his (ﷺ) hands three times. Then he (ﷺ) washed his face. Then he (ﷺ) started to put his arms out of his Jubba, but when the sleeves of the Jubba became tight, he (ﷺ) drew out his hands from beneath his Jubba, and washed them up to the elbows. Then he wiped his head and his socks (khuffs) and performed ablution. Then he set out and Mughirah was with him. He (ﷺ) found the people in a state of prayer with Abdur Rahman bin 'Auf leading them in prayer. Abdur Rahman bin 'Auf had led them in one rak'ah of Fajr before the arrival of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). When the Prophet (ﷺ) came, he stood in the row behind Abdur Rahman bin 'Auf in the second rak'ah. When Abdur Rahman finished (the prayer) with taslim, the Prophet (ﷺ) stood up and completed his prayer. The people became alarmed at this and most of them started saying Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah). When the Prophet (ﷺ) finished his prayer, he said: “You have attained righteousness,” or he said: “You have done right.”

(٥٣٠٨) مغیرہ بن شعبہ فرماتے ہیں کہ وہ غزوہ تبوک میں نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ چلے، جب فجر قریب ہوئی تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ایک طرف کو ہوئے، میں بھی ایک جانب ہوگیا۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اپنی سواری کو بٹھایا اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) چلے، میرے پاس پانی کا ایک لوٹا تھا۔ جب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) آئے تو مجھے حکم دیا، میں نے لوٹے سے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ہاتھوں پر تین مرتبہ پانی ڈالا، پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اپنا چہرہ دھویا۔ پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اپنے بازو جبہ سے نکال رہے تھے جب جبہ کی آستین تنگ ہوئیں تو آپ نے اپنے ہاتھ جبہ کے نیچے سے نکال لیے اور ان کو کہنیوں تک دھویا۔ پھر سر اور موزوں کا مسح کیا اور وضو کیا۔ پھر متوجہ ہوئے اور آپ کے ساتھ مغیرہ بھی تھے۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے لوگوں کو نماز کی حالت میں پایا اور عبدالرحمن بن عوف نماز پڑھا رہے تھے۔ عبد الرحمن بن عوف نے ان کو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے آنے سے قبل فجر کی ایک رکعت پڑھائی۔ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے آ کر دوسری رکعت میں لوگوں کے ساتھ عبد الرحمن بن عوف کے پیچھے صف بنائی۔ جب عبد الرحمن نے سلام پھیرا تو نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے کھڑے ہو کر اپنی نماز مکمل کی۔ لوگ اس وجہ سے گھبرا گئے اور اکثر نے سبحان اللہ کہنا شروع کردیا۔ جب نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے نماز مکمل کی تو فرمایا : تم درستگی کو پہنچ گئے یا فرمایا : تم نے درست کام کیا۔
5308 Mughira bin Shuba farmate hain ki woh Ghazwa Tabook mein Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke sath chale, jab fajar qareeb hui to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) aik taraf ko huye, mein bhi aik janib hogaya. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne apni sawari ko bithaya aur aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) chale, mere pass pani ka aik lota tha. Jab Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) aaye to mujhe hukum diya, maine lote se aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke hathon par teen martaba pani dala, phir aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne apna chehra dhoya. Phir aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) apne bazu jubba se nikal rahe the jab jubba ki aasteen tang huin to aap ne apne hath jubba ke neeche se nikal liye aur un ko kohniyon tak dhoya. Phir sar aur mozon ka masah kiya aur wazu kiya. Phir mutwaja huye aur aap ke sath Mughira bhi the. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne logon ko namaz ki halat mein paya aur Abdur Rahman bin Auf namaz parha rahe the. Abdur Rahman bin Auf ne un ko Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke aane se pehle fajar ki aik rakat parhayi. Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne aa kar dusri rakat mein logon ke sath Abdur Rahman bin Auf ke peeche saf banai. Jab Abdur Rahman ne salaam phehra to Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne kharay ho kar apni namaz mukammal ki. Log is wajah se ghabra gaye aur aksar ne Subhan Allah kehna shuru kar diya. Jab Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne namaz mukammal ki to farmaya: Tum durusti ko pahunch gaye ya farmaya: Tum ne durust kaam kiya.
Mughirah bin Shubah narrates that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) finished the prayer, he turned to his companions and said: "You have done well" or he said: "You have attained correctness." He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) envied them for having prayed their prayer on time.

(٥٣٠٩) مغیرہ بن شعبہ فرماتے ہیں کہ جب آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے نماز مکمل کی تو صحابہ پر متوجہ ہوئے اور فرمایا : تم نے اچھا کیا یا فرمایا : تم نے درستگی کو پا لیا۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ان پر رشک کیا کہ انھوں نے اپنی نماز کو وقت پر پڑھا ہے۔
Mughirah bin Shubah farmate hain ki jab aap ne namaz mukammal ki to sahaba par mutawajjah huye aur farmaya : tum ne achha kiya ya farmaya : tum ne durustgi ko pa liya. Aap ne un par rashk kiya ki unhon ne apni namaz ko waqt par parha hai.
Abu Ubaid, the slave of Ibn Azhar, said: I offered the Eid prayer with Umar and Ali (may Allah be pleased with them) while Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) was under siege.

(٥٣١٠) ابن ازھر کے غلام ابو عبید فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے عید کی نماز حضرت عمر اور حضرت علی (رض) کے ساتھ ادا کی ہے اور عثمان (رض) محصور تھے۔
5310 Ibn e Azhar ke ghulam Abu Ubaid farmate hain ke maine Eid ki namaz Hazrat Umar aur Hazrat Ali (RA) ke sath ada ki hai aur Usman (RA) mahsoor thay.
Ubaidullah bin Adi came to Uthman while he was besieged. Ali was leading the people in prayer. He said: I came so that I could pray with these people while you lead the prayer. Uthman said: Prayer is better than all the deeds of the people. When you see them doing good then you too should do good with them and when you see that the people are doing evil then you should stay away from them.

(٥٣١١) عبید اللہ بن عدی حضرت عثمان کے پاس آئے جب کہ وہ محصور تھے۔ علی (رض) لوگوں کو نماز پڑھا رہے تھے۔ فرماتے ہیں کہ میں آیا تاکہ میں ان لوگوں کے ساتھ نماز پڑھوں اور آپ امام ہوں تو حضرت عثمان (رض) نے فرمایا : نماز لوگوں کے تمام اعمال سے بہتر ہے۔ جب تو دیکھے کہ وہ نیکی کرتے ہیں تو تو بھی ان کے ساتھ نیکی کر اور جب تو دیکھے کہ لوگ برائی کرتے ہیں تو تو ان سے بچ۔
(5311) Obaidullah bin Adi Hazrat Usman ke pas aaye jab ke woh mahsoor the. Ali (RA) logon ko namaz parha rahe the. Faramate hain ke mein aaya taake mein in logon ke sath namaz parhon aur aap imam hon to Hazrat Usman (RA) ne farmaya: Namaz logon ke tamam aamal se behtar hai. Jab tu dekhe ke woh neki karte hain to tu bhi un ke sath neki kar aur jab tu dekhe ke log burai karte hain to tu un se bach.
Qari Abu Ja'far said that he saw the owner of the chamber during the time of Fitnah. When the time for prayer came, he would come out and the people would follow him, asking: "Who will lead the people in prayer?". They reached Abdullah bin Umar, who said: "Since you have already stepped forward, then lead the people in prayer."

(٥٣١٢) قاری ابو جعفر فرماتے ہیں کہ اس نے صاحب مقصورہ کو فتنہ کے دور میں دیکھا، جب نماز کا وقت ہوتا تو وہ نکلتے اور لوگ بھی ان کی پیروی کرتے اور پوچھتے : لوگوں کو کون نماز پڑھائے گا ؟ وہ عبداللہ بن عمر (رض) کے پاس پہنچ گئے تو عبداللہ بن عمر (رض) نے فرمایا : جب آپ آگے بڑھ ہی گئے ہیں تو لوگوں کو امامت کراؤ۔
Qari Abu Jaffar farmate hain ke usne sahib maqsoora ko fitna ke daur mein dekha, jab namaz ka waqt hota to wo nikalte aur log bhi unki pairvi karte aur poochte: logon ko kaun namaz parhaye ga? Wo Abdullah bin Umar (RA) ke paas pahunche to Abdullah bin Umar (RA) ne farmaya: jab aap aage barh hi gaye hain to logon ko imamat karao.
